Surah Zuha (93, 11 ayat)

93| سورۂ ضحیٰ |11

1. Brightness (Makki)

2. بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

   BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM

   In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

   اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

3. وَالضُّحٰى

   WAD DUHAA.

   I swear by the early hours of the day

   قسم ہے ایک پہر چڑھے دن (دوپہر) کی۔

4. وَالَّيْلِ اِذَا سَجٰى

   WAL LAILI IZA SAJAA.

   And the night when it covers with darkness.

   اور قسم ہے رات کی جب وہ چیزوں کی پردہ پوشی کرے۔

5. مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلٰى

   MA WAD DA’AKA RABBUKA WA MA QALAA.

   Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased

   تمہارے پروردگار نے نہ تم کو چھو ڑا ہے اور نہ تم سے ناراض ہوا ہے۔

6. وَلَلْاٰخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ الْاُوْلٰى

   WALAL-AAKHIRATU KHAIRUL LAKA MINAL-OOLA.

   And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before.

   اور آخرت تمہارے لئے دنیا سے کہیں زیادہ بہتر ہے۔

7. وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيْكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضٰى

   WA LA SAWFA Y’UTEEKA RABBUKA FATARDA.

   And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased.

   اور عنقریب تمہارا پروردگار تمہیں اس قدر عطا کر دے گا کہ خوش ہو جاؤ۔

8. اَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًا فَاٰوٰى

   ALAM YA JIDKA YATEEMAN FA AAWAA.

   Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter?

   کیا اس نے تم کو یتیم پاکر پناہ نہیں دی ہے۔

9. وَوَجَدَكَ ضَاۗلًّا فَهَدٰى

   WA WA JADAKA DAAL LAN FAHADA.

   And find you lost (i.e. unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)?

   اور کیا تم کو گم گشتہ (گم شدہ) پاکر منزل تک نہیں پہنچایا ہے۔

10. وَوَجَدَكَ عَاۗئِلًا فَاَغْنٰى

    WA WA JADAKA ’AA-ILAN FA AGHNAA.

    And find you in want and make you to be free from want?

    اور تم کو تنگ دست پاکر غنی نہیں بنایا ہے۔

11. فَاَمَّا الْيَتِيْمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ

    FA AM MAL YATEEMA FALA TAQHAR.

    Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him).

    لہذا اب تم یتیم پر قہر نہ کرنا۔

12. وَاَمَّا السَّاۗئِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ

    WA AM MAS SAA-ILA FALA TANHAR.

    And as for him who asks, do not chide (him)

    اور سائل کوجھڑک مت دینا۔

13. وَاَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ

    WA AMMA BI NI’MATI RABBIKA FAHAD DITH.

    And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it).

    اور اپنے پروردگار کی نعمتوں کو برابر بیان کرتے رہنا۔

14. SADAQALLAHUL ALIYYUL AZEEM

    Almighty God the most high speaks the truth.

    اللہ بزرگ و برتر نے سچ فرمایا ہے۔
