Surah Teen (95, 8 ayat)

سورۂ تین

1. Fig (Makki)

2. Imam Jafar Sadiq (a) has said the reward for reciting this Surah in prayers is a great palace in Jannah. It is narrated from the Holy Prophet (s) that the reward given to the person who recites this Surah cannot be counted. If recited on food, its evil effects are removed. The one who recites this Surah is compared to the person who has visited the Holy Prophet (s) and had his needs fulfilled by him.

   امام صادقؑ نے فرمایا:جس نے سورۂ تین کی تلاوت نمازوں میں کی اسے خداوند عالم جنّت سے اتنا عطا کرے گا کہ وہ خوشنود ہوجائے گا۔ (مجمع البیان، ج۱۰ص۳۹۲)

3. بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

   BISMI ALLAAHI AR-RAHMAANI AR-RAHEEM

   In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

   اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

4. وَالتِّيْنِ وَالزَّيْتُوْنِ

   WAT-TEENI WAZ-ZAYTOON

   I swear by the fig and the olive

   قسم ہے انجیر اور زیتون کی۔

5. وَطُوْرِ سِيْنِيْنَ

   WATOORI SEENEEN

   And mount Sinai

   اور طورِ سینین کی۔

6. وَهٰذَا الْبَلَدِ الْاَمِيْنِ

   WAHAAZAA AL-BALADI AL-AMEEN

   And this city made secure

   اور اس امن والے شہر کی۔

7. لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْاِنْسَانَ فِيْٓ اَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيْمٍ

   LAQAD KHALAQNAA AL-INSAANA FEE AHSANI TAQWEEM

   Certainly We created man in the best make.

   ہم نے انسان کو بہترین ساخت میں پیدا کیا ہے۔

8. ثُمَّ رَدَدْنٰهُ اَسْفَلَ سٰفِلِيْنَ

   THUMMA RADADNAAHU ASFALA SAAFILEEN

   Then We render him the lowest of the low.

   پھر ہم نے اس کو پست ترین حالت کی طرف پلٹا دیا ہے۔

9. اِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ فَلَهُمْ اَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُوْنٍ

   ILLAA ALLAZEENA AAMANOO WA'AMILOO AS-SAALIHAATI FALAHUM AJRUN GHAYRU MAMNOON

   Except those who believe and do good, so they shall have a reward never to be cut off.

   علاوہ ان لوگوں کے جو ایمان لائے اور انہوں نے نیک اعمال انجام دیئے تو ان کے لئے نہ ختم ہونے والا اجر ہے۔

10. فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِالدِّيْنِ

    FAMAA YUKAZZIBUKA BA'DU BID-DEEN

    Then who can give you the lie after (this) about the judgment?

    پھر تم کو روزِ جزا کے بارے میں کون جھٹلا سکتا ہے۔

11. اَلَيْسَ اللهُ بِاَحْكَمِ الْحٰكِمِيْنَ

    ALAYSA ALLAAHU BI-AHKAMI AL-HAAKIMEEN

    Is not Allah the best of the Judges?

    کیا خدا سب سے بڑا حاکم اور فیصلہ کرنے والا نہیں ہے۔

12. صَدَقَ اللهُ الْعَلِیُّ الْعَظِیْمُ۔

    SADAQA ALLAAHU AL-'ALIYYU AL-'AZEEM.

    Almighty God the most high speaks the truth.

    اللہ بزرگ و برتر نے سچ فرمایا ہے۔
