وَلِلهِ الْاَسْمَاۗءُ الْحُسْنٰى فَادْعُوْهُ بِهَا۔۔۔
WA LILLAAHIL ASMAAA ’UL HUSNAA FAD’OOHU BIHAA…
And Allah’s are the best names, therefore call on Him thereby…
اور اللہ ہی کے لئے بہترین نام ہیں لہذا اسے ان ہی کے ذریعہ پکارو۔۔۔
حَسْبِیَ اللہُ
HASBE-YAL-LAAHO.
Allah is sufficient for me. / Allah is enough for me.
اللہ میرے لیے کافی ہے۔ اللہ ہی میرا سہارا ہے۔
یَا حَیُّ یَا قَیُّوْمُ
YAA HAIYYO YAA QAIYYOO-MO.
O Ever-Living, O Sustainer (Self-Subsisting Maintainer of all).
اے ہمیشہ زندہ! اے سب کو سنبھالنے والے!
یَا ھُوَ اَوَّلُ کُلِّ شَیْءٍ
YAA HOWA AWWALO KULLE SHAI-IN.
O He who is the First of everything.
اے وہ ذات جو ہر چیز سے پہلے ہے۔
یَا نِعْمَ الْمَوْلٰی وَنِعْمَ النَّصِیْرُ
YAA NE’MAL MAWLAA WA NE’MAN NASEE-RO.
O the best Protector (Master) and the best Helper.
اے بہترین مالک / سرپرست اور بہترین مددگار!
وَهُوَ الَّذِيْ سَخَّرَ الْبَحْرَ لِتَاْكُلُوْا مِنْهُ لَحْمًا طَرِيًّا وَّتَسْتَخْرِجُوْا مِنْهُ حِلْيَةً تَلْبَسُوْنَهَا
WA HUWAL LAZEE SAKHKHARAL BAHRA LITAAKULOO MINHU LAHMAN TARIYYANW WA TASTAKHRIJOO MINHU HILYATAN TALBASOONAHAA WA TARAL FULKA MAWAAKHIRA FEEHI WA LITABTAGHOO MIN FADLIHEE WA LA’ALLAKUM TASHKUROON.
And He it is Who has made the sea subservient that you may eat fresh flesh from it and bring forth from it ornaments which you wear, and you see the ships cleaving through it, and that you might seek of His bounty and that you may give thanks.
اور وہی وہ ہے جس نے سمندروں کو مسّخردیا ہے تاکہ تم اس میں سے تازہ گوشت کھاسکو اور پہننے کے لئے زینت کا سامان نکال سکو اور تم تو دیکھ رہے ہو کہ کشتیاں کس طرح اس کے سینے کو چیرتی ہوئی چلی جارہی ہیں اور یہ سب اس لئے بھی ہے کہ تم اس کے فضل و کرم کو تلاش کرسکو اور شاید اسی طرح اس کے شکر گزار بندے بھی بن جاؤ۔
