9th Ziyarat-e-Jamia

بِسْمِ اللهِ وَبِاللهِ وَفِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللهِ وَعَلٰى مِلَّةِ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ اغْسِلْ عَنِّيْ دَرَنَ الذُّنُوْبِ وَ وَسَخَ الْعُيُوْبِ وَطَهِّرْنِيْ بِمَاءِ التَّوْبَةِ وَاَلْبِسْنِيْ رِدَاءَ الْعِصْمَةِ وَاَيِّدْنِيْ بِلُطْفٍ مِّنْكَ يُوَفِّقُنِيْ لِصَالِحِ الْاَعْمَالِ اِنَّكَ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيْمِ۔

In the Name of Allah (I begin), in Allah (I trust), in the way of Allah (I proceed), and on the creed of the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, (please do) cleanse me from the filth of sins and the dirt of defects, purify me with the water of repentance, dress me the garb of protection (against sinning), and aid me with Your compassion on account of which You may lead me to (doing) righteous deeds. You are verily the Lord of great favor.

خدا کے نام سے، خداکی ذات کے واسطے سے، خداکے مقرر راستے پر اور رسول ؐخدا کے دین پر چلتے ہوئے اے معبود! مجھ سےگناہوں کامیل اور عیبوں کی کثافت وپلیدگی دور کر دے مجھے توبہ کے پانی سے پاک فرما مجھے حفاظت کی چادراوڑھا دے اپنے لطف وکرم سے میری تائید کر اور مجھ کو اعمال ِصالح کی توفیق عطا فرما بے شک تو بڑے فضل اور بزرگی والا ہے۔

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِيْ وَفَّقَنِيْ لِقَصْدِ وَلِيِّهٖ وَزِيَارَةِ حُجَّتِهٖ وَاَوْرَدَنِيْ حَرَمَهٗ وَلَمْ يَبْخَسْنِيْ حَظِّيْ مِنْ زِيَارَةِ قَبْرِهٖ وَالنُّزُوْلِ بِعَقْوَةِ مُغَيَّبِهٖ وَسَاحَةِ تُرْبَتِهِ الْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِيْ لَمْ يَسِمْنِيْ بِحِرْمَانِ مَا اَمَّلْتُهٗ وَلَا صَرَفَ عَنِّيْ مَا رَجَوْتُهٗ وَلَا قَطَعَ رَجَائِيْ فِيْمَا تَوَقَّعْتُهٗ بَلْ اَلْبَسَنِيْ عَافِيَتَهٗ وَاَفَادَنِيْ نِعْمَتَهٗ وَآتَانِيْ كَرَامَتَهٗ۔

All praise be to Allah Who has led me to come to His intimate servant and to visit His argument-person (against creatures) and has allowed me to enter the precinct of him (ie. His intimate servant); thus, He has not deprived me of the opportunity to visit the tomb of him and to stay at the patio of his shrine and at the courtyard of his grave. All praise be to Allah Who has not decided for me the deprivation of that which I hope, has not prevented me against that for which I have longed and has not disappointed me as regards that which I have anticipated; rather, He has dressed me good health from Him, bestowed upon me with His grace, and granted me His honoring.

حمد اس خدا کے لئے ہے جس نے اپنے ولی کے پاس آنے اور اپنی حجت کی زیارت کرنے کی توفیق دی اور مجھے ان کے حر م تک پہنچایا اور اس نے ان کی قبر کی زیارت،آستانہ ٔمقدسہ پر حاضری اور دربار عالی پر آمد میں میرا حصہ کم نہیں کیا حمد اس خدا کے لیےجس نے مجھ کو میری آرزو میں محروم نہیں کیا مجھے میری امید سے پلٹایا نہیں اور نہ اس تمنا میں ناکام کیا جو میں لے کے آیا تھا بلکہ اس نے مجھے لباس ِامن پہنایا، اپنی نعمت سے فائدہ دیا اور مجھے اپنی طرف سے عزّت دی۔

بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ اَئِمَّةَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَسَادَةَ الْمُتَّقِيْنَ وَكُبَرَاءَ الصِّدِّيْقِيْنَ وَاُمَرَاءَ الصَّالِحِيْنَ وَقَادَةَ الْمُحْسِنِيْنَ وَاَعْلَامَ الْمُهْتَدِيْنَ وَاَنْوَارَ الْعَارِفِيْنَ وَ وَرَثَةَ الْاَنْبِيَاءِ وَصَفْوَةَ الْاَوْصِيَاءِ وَشُمُوْسَ الْاَتْقِيَاءِ وَبُدُوْرَ الْخُلَفَاءِ وَعِبَادَ الرَّحْمَنِ وَشُرَكَاءَ الْقُرْآنِ وَمَنْهَجَ الْاِيْمَانِ وَمَعَادِنَ الْحَقَائِقِ وَشُفَعَاءَ الْخَلَائِقِ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهٗ۔

Peace be upon you, O the Imams of the believers, the chiefs of the pious, the heads of the truthful, the princes of the righteous, the leaders of the good-doers, the epitomes of the truly guided ones, the light for the cognizant, the inheritors of the Prophets, the choicest of the Prophet’s successors, the sunlight of the devout ones, the full moons of the vicegerents (of the Prophets), the (true) servants of the All-beneficent, the partners of the Qur’an, the course to the (true) faith, the essences of the realities, and the interceders for the beings. Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon you.

آپ پر سلام ہوکہ آپ مومنوں کے پیشوا، پرہیزگاروں کے سردار صدیقوں کے بزرگ، نیکوکاروں کے حاکم، خوش کرداروں کے سالار اور ہدایت یافتہ لوگوں کے نشان عارفوں کو روشنی دینے والے،نبیوں کے وارث،اوصیاء میں پسندیدہ، خدا سے ڈرنے والوں کے آفتاب، خلفاء میں روشن چاند، خدائےرحمٰن کے بندے، قرآن کے ہم پایہ، ایمان کا راستہ حقیقتوں کے خزانے اور لوگوں کی شفاعت کرنے والے ہیں آپ پر سلام خدا کی رحمت اور اس کی برکات ہوں۔

اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكُمْ اَبْوَابُ اللهِ وَمَفَاتِيْحُ رَحْمَتِهٖ وَمَقَالِيْدُ مَغْفِرَتِهٖ وَسَحَائِبُ رِضْوَانِهٖ وَمَصَابِيْحُ جِنَانِهٖ وَحَمَلَةُ فُرْقَانِهٖ وَخَزَنَةُ عِلْمِهٖ وَحَفَظَةُ سِرِّهٖ وَمَهْبِطُ وَحْيِهٖ وَعِنْدَكُمْ اَمَانَاتُ النُّبُوَّةِ وَ وَدَائِعُ الرِّسَالَةِ اَنْتُمْ اُمَنَاءُ اللهِ وَاَحِبَّاؤُهٗ وَعِبَادُهٗ وَاَصْفِيَاؤُهٗ۔

I bear witness that You are the doors to Allah, the clues to (attaining) His mercy, the keys to His forgiveness, the clouds of His pleasure, the lanterns of the gardens of His Paradise, the carriers of His distinguishing Book, the hoarders of His knowledge, the keepers of His secret, and the place of the descent of His revelation. The trusts of prophethood are possessed by you. So are the charges of the Divine Message. You are Allah’s trustees, well-beloved, servants, and choicest ones.

میں گواہ ہوں کہ آپ خدا کے دروازے،اس کی رحمت کی کنجیاں، اس کی طرف سے بخشش کے وسیلے،اس کی خوشنودی کے بادل، اس کی جنت کے چراغ،اس کے قرآن کے حامل، اس کے علم کے خزانے،اس کے راز کے نگہبان اور اس کی وحی کے مقام ہیں نبوت کی امانتیں اور رسالت کے علوم آپ ہی کے پاس ہیں آپ خدا کے امین، اس کے پیارے،اس کے بندے،اس کے چنے ہوئے،اس کی توحید کےچنے ہوئے۔

وَاَنْصَارُ تَوْحِيْدِهٖ وَاَرْكَانُ تَمْجِيْدِهٖ وَدُعَاتُهٗ اِلٰى كُتُبِهٖ وَحَرَسَةُ خَلَائِقِهٖ وَحَفَظَةُ وَدَائِعِهٖ لَا يَسْبِقُكُمْ ثَنَاءُ الْمَلَائِكَةِ فِي الْاِخْلَاصِ وَالْخُشُوْعِ وَلَا يُضَادُّكُمْ ذُوابْتِهَالٍ وَخُضُوْعٍ۔

You are also the supporter of (the creed of) His Oneness, the pillars of glorifying Him, the callers to (the belief in) His Books, the guardians over His beings, and the custodians of His trusts. Neither the praising of the angels with all of its sincerity and reverence can precede Yours, nor can any earnest suppliant and pious one compares himself to Yours.

اس کی توحید کے مدد گار، اس کی بزرگی کےنشان، اس کی کتب کی طرف بلانے والے، اس کی مخلوق کے نگہدار اور اس کے علوم کے پاسدار ہیں ثناءالہٰی میں خلوص و خوف کے لحاظ سے فرشتے آپ سےبڑھ نہیں سکتے اور نہ کوئی گریہ وزاری و عاجزی کرنے والا آپ سے آگے نکل سکتا ہے۔

اَنَّى وَلَكُمُ الْقُلُوْبُ الَّتِيْ تَوَلَّى اللهُ رِيَاضَتَهَا بِالْخَوْفِ وَالرَّجَاءِ وَجَعَلَهَا اَوْعِيَةً لِلشُّكْرِ وَالثَّنَاءِ وَآمَنَهَا مِنْ عَوَارِضِ الْغَفْلَةِ وَصَفَّاهَا مِنْ سُوْءِ (شَوَاغِلِ) الْفَتْرَةِ بَلْ يَتَقَرَّبُ اَهْلُ السَّمَاءِ بِحُبِّكُمْ وَبِالْبَرَاءَةِ مِنْ اَعْدَائِكُمْ وَتَوَاتُرِ الْبُكَاءِ عَلٰى مُصَابِكُمْ وَ الَاسْتِغْفَارِ لِشِيْعَتِكُمْ وَمُحِبِّيْكُمْ۔

How can that be! While your hearts are these which Allah Himself has schooled with means of fear and hope for Him, made containers of thanksgiving and praising Him, secured against even accidental inattentiveness, and purified from the evil of languor. More exactly, the inhabitants of the heaves seek nearness (to Allah) through their love for you and disavowal of your enemies, and through persistent weeping for your misfortunes and imploring for Allah’s forgiveness for your adherents and supporters.

یہ کیسے ہوجب کہ آپ کے دل وہ ہیں کہ خوف ورجا میں خدا ان کی سرپرستی کرتا رہا اور ان کو شکر اور ثنا کے مرکز اور مقام قرار دیا ا ن کو کاہلی کے اثرات سے بچائے رکھا اور فطری برائی سے پاک کردیا بلکہ اہلِ آسمان آپ کی محبت اور آپ کے دشمنوں سے بیزاری، آپ کے مصائب پرلگاتار گریہ کرنے اور آپ کے شیعوں اور دوستوں کے لئے طلب ِمغفرت کو تقرب الہٰی کا وسیلہ بناتے ہیں۔

فَاَنَا اُشْهِدُ اللهَ خَالِقِيْ وَاُشْهِدُ مَلَائِكَتَهٗ وَاَنْبِيَاءَهٗ وَاُشْهِدُكُمْ يَا مَوَالِيَّ اَنِّيْ مُؤْمِنٌ بِوِلَايَتِكُمْ (بِوَلَايَتِكُمْ) مُعْتَقِدٌ لِاِمَامَتِكُمْ مُقِرٌّ بِخِلَافَتِكُمْ عَارِفٌ بِمَنْزِلَتِكُمْ مُوْقِنٌ بِعِصْمَتِكُمْ خَاضِعٌ لِوِلَايَتِكُمْ۔

I, hereby, ask Allah, my Creator, to witness for me, and I ask His angels and Prophets to witness for me, too and I ask you, too, O my masters, to witness for me that I have full faith in your (divinely commissioned) leadership, I fully believe in your Imamate, I confess of your successorship (to prophethood), I am aware of your unmatched rank, I am certain of your infallibility, I submit to your leadership.

پس میں خدا کو گواہ بناتا ہوں اس کے فرشتوں اور نبیوں کو گواہ بنا تا ہوں اور اے میرے سرداروآپ کو گواہ قرار دیتا ہوں کہ میں آپ کی ولایت کو مانتا ہوں آپ کی امامت کا عقیدہ رکھتا ہوں آپ کی خلافت کااقرار کرتا ہوں آپ کے مرتبے کو پہچانتا ہوں آپ کی عصمت پر یقین رکھتا ہوں اور آپ کی ولایت کے سامنے جھکتا ہوں۔

مُتَقَرِّبٌ اِلَى اللهِ بِحُبِّكُمْ وَ بِالْبَرَاءَةِ مِنْ اَعْدَائِكُمْ عَالِمٌ بِاَنَّ اللهَ قَدْ طَهَّرَكُمْ مِنَ الْفَوَاحِشِ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ وَمِنْ كُلِّ رِيْبَةٍ وَنَجَاسَةٍ وَدَنِيَّةٍ وَرَجَاسَةٍ وَمَنَحَكُمْ رَايَةَ الْحَقِّ الَّتِيْ مَنْ تَقَدَّمَهَا ضَلَّ وَمَنْ تَاَخَّرَ عَنْهَا زَلَّ وَفَرَضَ طَاعَتَكُمْ عَلٰى كُلِّ اَسْوَدَ وَاَبْيَضَ۔

I seek nearness to Allah through my love for you and disavowal of your enemies, I know for sure that Allah has purified you from indecencies, whether open or secret, and from all suspicions, filth, all ill deeds, and ignominy. And He has granted you the pennon of the truth that whoever foregoes shall have missed the right way and whoever lags behind shall have slipped. He has imposed the obedience to you upon all beings, be them black or white.

آپ کی محبت اور آپ کے دشمنوں سے نفرت کے ذریعے خدا کی قربت چاہتا ہوں میں جانتا ہوں کہ اﷲنے آپ کو برائیوں سے پاک رکھا ہے جو ان میں سے ظاہر ہیں اور جو پوشیدہ ہیں اس نے آپ کو ہر شک،ہر آلودگی، ہر پستی اور ہر ناپاکی سے بچایا اور آپ کو حق کا عَلم بردار بنایا کہ جو اس سے آگے بڑھا گمراہ ہوا اورجو اس سے پیچھے رہا وہ پھسل گیا نیز اس نے ہر سیاہ و سفیدپر آپ کی پیروی واجب قرار دی۔

وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّكُمْ قَدْ وَفَيْتُمْ بِعَهْدِ اللهِ وَذِمَّتِهٖ وَبِكُلِّ مَا اشْتَرَطَ (اشْتَرَطَهٗ) عَلَيْكُمْ فِيْ كِتَابِهٖ وَدَعَوْتُمْ اِلٰى سَبِيْلِهٖ وَاَنْفَذْتُمْ طَاقَتَكُمْ فِيْ مَرْضَاتِهٖ وَحَمَلْتُمُ الْخَلَائِقَ عَلٰى مِنْهَاجِ النُّبُوَّةِ وَمَسَالِكِ الرِّسَالَةِ وَسِرْتُمْ فِيْهِ بِسِيْرَةِ الْاَنْبِيَاءِ وَمَذَاهِبِ الْاَوْصِيَاءِ فَلَمْ يُطَعْ لَكُمْ اَمْرٌ وَلَمْ تُصْغَ اِلَيْكُمْ اُذُنٌ فَصَلَوَاتُ اللهِ عَلٰى اَرْوَاحِكُمْ وَاَجْسَادِكُمْ۔

I also bear witness that you have verily fulfilled your pledge and promise to Allah and carried out all that which He stipulated on you in His Book. You also called for (following) His Path, exerted all your efforts in seeking His pleasure, led the beings to the course of Prophethood and the paths of the Divine Message, and dealt with them according to the norm of the Prophets and the customs of the Prophets’ successors. Nonetheless, none of your instructions was carried out, and none lent you any ear. So, Allah’s blessings be upon your souls and your bodies.

میں گواہ ہوں کہ آپ نے خدا کاعہد وپیمان اور ذمہ داری پوری کی اور ہر بات نبھائی جو اس کی کتاب میں آپ پر عائد کی گئی آپ نے اس کےراستے کی طرف بلایا اور اس کی رضا میں پوری قوت صرف کردی آپ نے لوگوں کونبوت کے روشن راستےاور رسالت کی گزر گاہ سے باخبر کیا اور آپ نے اس عمل میں نبیوں کی روش اوراوصیاء کا طریقہ اختیار کیا تاہم انہوں نے آپ کی بات نہ مانی اور آپ کی طرف دھیان نہ دیا پس آپ کی روحوں اور آپ کے جسموں پر خدا کی رحمتیں ہوں۔

بِاَبِيْ اَنْتَ وَاُمِّيْ يَا حُجَّةَ اللهِ لَقَدْ اُرْضِعْتَ بِثَدْيِ الْاِيْمَانِ وَفُطِمْتَ بِنُوْرِ الْاِسْلَامِ وَغُذِّيْتَ بِبَرْدِ الْيَقِيْنِ وَاُلْبِسْتَ حُلَلَ الْعِصْمَةِ وَاصْطُفِيْتَ وَ وُرِّثْتَ عِلْمَ الْكِتَابِ وَلُقِّنْتَ فَصْلَ الْخِطَابِ وَاُوْضِحَ بِمَكَانِكَ مَعَارِفُ التَّنْزِيْلِ وَغَوَامِضُ التَّأْوِيْلِ وَسُلِّمَتْ اِلَيْكَ رَايَةُ الْحَقِّ وَكُلِّفْتَ هِدَايَةَ الْخَلْقِ وَنُبِذَ اِلَيْكَ عَهْدُ الْاِمَامَةِ وَاُلْزِمْتَ حِفْظَ الشَّرِيْعَةِ۔

May Allah accept my father and mother as ransoms for you, O Argument of Allah. You were certainly fed by the breast of faith, weaned on the illumination of Islam, nourished on the utter certitude, dressed the garments of infallibility, chosen and inherited the knowledge of the Book, and prompted the decisive speech. Through your position were the knowledge of the Divine Revelation and the mysteries of the interpretation (of the Qur’an) made clear. To you was the pennon of the truth delivered. You were charged with guiding the beings. To you was the pledge of Imamate given exclusively. You were assigned to preserve the religious law.

میرے ماں باپ آپ پرقربان اے حجت ِخدا! یقیناً آپ نے سر چشمۂ ایمان سے دودھ پیا، نورِ اسلام کے بدلے آپ کی دودھ بڑھائی ہوئی،یقین کی خنکی سے آپ نے غذا پائی عصمت کے پیراہنوں کالباس پہنا آپ چنے گئے اور علم کتاب کے وارث بنے آپ کو بے تعصب فیصلے کرنے کا علم دیا گیا آپ کی ذات سے قرآن کے حقائق واضح ہوئے اور تاویل وتشریح کی باریکیاں ظاہر ہوئیں حق کا پرچم آپ کے سپرد کیا گیا آپ کو مخلوق کی ہدایت کی ذمہ داری سونپی گئی امامت کافرمان آپ کے نام لکھا گیااور شریعت کی حفاظت آپ کے ذمہ ڈالی گئی۔

وَاَشْهَدُ يَا مَوْلَايَ اَنَّكَ وَفَيْتَ بِشَرَائِطِ الْوَصِيَّةِ وَقَضَيْتَ مَا لَزِمَكَ مِنْ حَدِّ الطَّاعَةِ وَنَهَضْتَ بِاَعْبَاءِ الْاِمَامَةِ وَاحْتَذَيْتَ مِثَالَ النُّبُوَّةِ فِي الصَّبْرِ وَالَاجْتِهَادِ وَالنَّصِيْحَةِ لِلْعِبَادِ وَكَظْمِ الْغَيْظِ وَالْعَفْوِ عَنِ النَّاسِ وَعَزَمْتَ عَلَى الْعَدْلِ فِي الْبَرِيَّةِ وَالنَّصَفَةِ فِي الْقَضِيَّةِ۔

I also bear witness, O my master, that you met all the qualifications of successorship, settled all your obligations as regards the obedience (to Allah), carried successfully all the burdens of Imamate, and followed the example of prophethood in endurance, exertion of all possible efforts, giving advice to the servants, suppressing your rage, and pardoning the people. You were also determined to act fairly with the creatures and to be just in all issues.

اور میں گواہ ہوں اے میرے آقا کہ آپ نے قائم مقامی کے فرائض پورے کیے اطاعت کی جو حد آپ کے لئے مقرر تھی وہ پوری کی اور امامت کا سنگین بار اپنے کندھوں پر لیا اور ایک حامل نبوت کے مانند نظر آئے صبر وقرار میں، سعی و کوشش میں، لوگوں کی نصیحت وخیرخواہی میں، غصے پر قابو رکھنے، لوگوں کی خطائیں معاف کرنے، انسانوں کے درمیان عدل قائم کرنے، فیصلہ دیتے ہوئے انصاف برتنے میں نیز آپ نے امت پر حجت قائم کی سچے اور قوی دلائل اورزندہ پائندہ شریعت کے ساتھ۔

وَ وَكَّدْتَ الْحُجَجَ عَلَى الْاُمَّةِ بِالدَّلَائِلِ الصَّادِقَةِ وَالشَّرِيْعَةِ النَّاطِقَةِ وَدَعَوْتَ اِلَى اللهِ بِالْحِكْمَةِ الْبَالِغَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ فَمَنَعْتَ مِنْ تَقْوِيْمِ الزَّيْغِ وَسَدِّ الثُّلَمِ وَاِصْلَاحِ الْفَاسِدِ وَكَسْرِ الْمُعَانِدِ وَاِحْيَاءِ السُّنَنِ وَاِمَاتَةِ الْبِدَعِ حَتّٰى فَارَقْتَ الدُّنْيَا وَاَنْتَ شَهِيْدٌ وَلَقِيْتَ رَسُوْلَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهٖ وَاَنْتَ حَمِيْدٌ صَلَوَاتُ اللهِ عَلَيْكَ تَتَرَادَفُ وَتَزِيْدُ۔

You confirmed all the claims (of Allah) on the community through irrefutable proofs and through the speaking law and called to the way of Allah with wisdom and fair exhortation. You thus stood against any rise of doubt and worked on rectifying all furrows, mending the wrong, beating the stubborn evildoer, reviving the norms (of the Prophets), and annihilating the heresies until you departed this life as martyr and met the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his Household, as praiseworthy. May the blessings of Allah continue on you incessantly and increasingly.

اور آپ نے خدا کی طرف انتہائی دانش مندی اور عمدہ نصیحت کے ساتھ بلایا لیکن کجی کے دور کرنے،رخنے بند کرنے برائیوں کی اصلاح، دشمن کی سر کوبی،سنتوں کو قائم کرنے اور بدعتوں کو مٹانے سے آپ کو روکا گیا، یہاں تک کہ آپ دنیا سے چلے گئے اور درجۂ شہادت پاکر حضرت رسولؐ کےپاس پہنچے ان پر اور ان کی آلؑ پر خدارحمت کرے اور آپ تعریف والے ہیں آپ پر خدا کی رحمت ہو لگاتار اور بڑھنے والی۔

يَا سَادَتِيْ يَا آلَ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ اِنِّيْ بِكُمْ اَتَقَرَّبُ اِلَى اللهِ جَلَّ وَعَلَا بِالْخِلَافِ عَلَى الَّذِيْنَ غَدَرُوْا بِكُمْ وَنَكَثُوْا بَيْعَتَكُمْ وَجَحَدُوْا وِلَايَتَكُمْ وَاَنْكَرُوْا مَنْزِلَتَكُمْ وَخَلَعُوْا رِبْقَةَ طَاعَتِكُمْ وَهَجَرُوْا اَسْبَابَ مَوَدَّتِكُمْ وَتَقَرَّبُوْا اِلٰى فَرَاعِنَتِهِمْ بِالْبَرَاءَةِ مِنْكُمْ وَالْاِعْرَاضِ عَنْكُمْ وَمَنَعُوْكُمْ مِنْ اِقَامَةِ الْحُدُوْدِ وَاسْتِيْصَالِ الْجُحُوْدِ وَشَعْبِ الصَّدْعِ وَلَمِّ الشَّعَثِ وَسَدِّ الْخَلَلِ وَتَثْقِيْفِ الْاَوَدِ وَاِمْضَاءِ الْاَحْكَامِ وَتَهْذِيْبِ الْاِسْلَامِ وَقَمْعِ الْآثَامِ وَاَرْهَجُوْا عَلَيْكُمْ نَقْعَ الْحُرُوْبِ وَالْفِتَنِ وَاَنْحَوْا عَلَيْكُمْ سُيُوْفَ الْاَحْقَادِ وَهَتَكُوْا مِنْكُمُ السُّتُوْرَ وَابْتَاعُوْا بِخُمْسِكُمُ الْخُمُوْرَ وَصَرَفُوْا صَدَقَاتِ الْمَسَاكِيْنِ اِلَى الْمُضْحِكِيْنَ وَالسَّاخِرِيْنَ۔

O my masters! O Household of Allah’s Messenger! In your names do I seek nearness to Allah the All-majestic and All-elevated by dissenting from those who betrayed you, breached their allegiance to you, denied your leadership, renounced your position, gave up their obedience to you, abandoned the love for you, curried favor with their tyrant rulers through disavowing and rejecting you, prevented you from carrying out the religious laws, eradicating atheism, setting right the split, rejoining the scattered, meeting the deficiency, straightening the crookedness, executing the divine laws, refining Islam, and restraining sins; they stirred up the dust of wars and seditions against you, unsheathed the swords of malice against you, rent your coverings, bought wines with the khumus levy that is decided for you exclusively, and paid the alms that are decided for the poor to the clowns and jokers.

اے میرے سردارو! اےرسولؐ خدا کے فرزندو!میں آپ کے ذریعے خدا ئے بزرگ وبرتر کا تقرب چاہتا ہوں ان کی مخالفت کرتے ہوئے جنہوں نےآپ سے بے وفائی کی آپ کی بیعت توڑی آپ کی ولایت سے انکارکیا آپ کے مقام پر حسد کیا آپ کی پیروی کے حلقے سےنکل گئے آپ سے دوستی کے طریقے چھوڑ دیے اورآپ سے علیٰحدہ ہوکر اور آپ سے رو گردانی کرکے سرکش حکمرانوں سے مل گئے انہوں نے آپ کوحدود الہٰی قائم کرنے، منکروں کی جڑیں کاٹنے،شکستگی دور کرنے،اتحاد مسلمین کے قیام،تفرقہ مٹانے، ٹیڑھاپن کو دور کرنے،احکام دین کے رائج کرنے، اسلام کو خالص بنانے اور بتوں کوتوڑنے سے روکا ان لوگوں نے آپ پر جنگیں مسلط کیں فساد مچایا اور آپ پر حسدو کینے کی تلواریں کھینچ لیں انہوں نے آپ کی عزّت کا پاس نہ کیا اور آپ کے حق (خمس )کو شراب پر خرچ کیا محتاجوں کے لئے صدقات کی رقمیں مسخروں اور ظالم افراد کو دے دیں۔

وَذٰلِكَ بِمَا طَرَّقَتْ لَهُمُ الْفَسَقَةُ الْغُوَاةُ، وَالْحَسَدَةُ الْبُغَاةُ اَهْلُ النَّكْثِ وَالْغَدْرِ وَالْخِلَافِ وَالْمَكْرِ وَالْقُلُوْبِ الْمُنْتِنَةِ مِنْ قَذَرِ الشِّرْكِ وَالْاَجْسَادِ الْمُشْحَنَةِ مِنْ دَرَنِ الْكُفْرِ الَّذِيْنَ اَضَبُّوْا عَلَى النِّفَاقِ وَاَكَبُّوْا عَلٰى عَلَائِقِ الشِّقَاقِ۔

All that was because of the urging practices of the licentious, the aberrant, the envious, and the oppressors; the people of breach, treachery, rebellion, and deceit; whose hearts are evil-smelling due to the filth of polytheism, and whose bodies are suffocated with the dirt of atheism. It is they who embraced hypocrisy and buckled down to dissension.

یہ سب اس لئے ہوا کہ نافرمانوں، گمراہوں، حاسدوں اور باغیوں نے اس راہ کو کھولا جو بیعت توڑنے والے، دھوکہ دینے والے، وعدہ خلافی کرنے والے، دغا دینے والے تھے اور ان کے دل شرک کی ناپاکی سے بھرے ہوئے اور ان کے جسم کفر کی آلودگی میں لتھڑے ہوئے تھے وہ نفاق میں محفوظ اور بدبختی کی راہوں میں دور نکل گئے۔

فَلَمَّا مَضَى الْمُصْطَفٰى صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ اخْتَطَفُوا الْغِرَّةَ وَانْتَهَزُوا الْفُرْصَةَ وَانْتَهَكُوا الْحُرْمَةَ وَغَادَرُوْهُ عَلٰى فِرَاشِ الْوَفَاةِ وَاَسْرَعُوْا لِنَقْضِ الْبَيْعَةِ وَمُخَالَفَةِ الْمَوَاثِيْقِ الْمُؤَكَّدَةِ وَخِيَانَةِ الْاَمَانَةِ الْمَعْرُوْضَةِ عَلَى الْجِبَالِ الرَّاسِيَةِ وَاَبَتْ اَنْ تَحْمِلَهَا وَحَمَلَهَا الْاِنْسَانُ الظَّلُوْمُ الْجَهُوْلُ۔

So, when the chosen Prophet, Allah’s peace be upon him and his Household, passed away, they seized the opportunity, took the occasion, and violated the sanctity. They left him bed-ridden and hurried to preach their allegiance, break the covenants that had been confirmedly taken from them, betray the Trust that had been offered to the unshakable mountains but they (ie. the mountains) refused to undergo; rather, man, the wronging and ignorant, accepted to assume it.

پس جونہی حضرت رسولؐ کا انتقال ہوا ان پر اور ان کی آلؑ پر، خدا کی رحمتیں ہوں تو دھوکے باز جمع ہوگئے انہوں نے اس موقع کو غنیمت جانا انہوں نے آپ کا احترام نہ کیااور آپ کی میت چھوڑ کے چل دیے انہوں نےبیعت توڑنے میں جلدی کی،تاکید شدہ عہد وپیمان کی مخالفت کرنے اور اس امانت کو ضائع کرنے میں تیزی دکھائی جو بلند پہاڑوں کے سامنے لائی گئی تو انہوں نے اسے اٹھانے سے انکار کیا اور انسان نے اسے اٹھا لیا جو ستم گار،نادان،تفرقہ باز، گناہوں میں ڈوبا ہوا، دل تنگ اور اچھے انجام کی خاطرفرماں برداری کرنے سے سرکش۔

ذُو الشِّقَاقِ وَالْعِزَّةِ بِالْآثَامِ الْمُوْلِمَةِ وَالْاَنَفَةِ عَنِ الْاِنْقِيَادِ لِحَمِيْدِ الْعَاقِبَةِ، فَحُشِرَ سِفْلَةُ الْاَعْرَابِ وَبَقَايَا الْاَحْزَابِ اِلٰى دَارِ النُّبُوَّةِ وَالرِّسَالَةِ وَمَهْبِطِ الْوَحْيِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَمُسْتَقَرِّ سُلْطَانِ الْوِلَايَةِ۔

Man is actually dissenting, obstinate to committing grave sins, and disdaining from submission to that whose end result is praiseworthy. Hence, the lowly Bedouins and the rest of the parties (who had allied each other against the Holy Prophet) were gathered to the abode of the prophethood, Divine Message, Divine Revelation and angels, the center of the authority of the (divinely commissioned) leadership (of the Holy Imams), and the core of the Prophet’s successorship, inheritance, and Imamate.

پس بدّو عرب اور دیگر قبائل نبوت ورسالت کے گھرپر اور وحی اور فرشتوں کے اترنے کی جگہ پر چڑھ دوڑے اور حکومت ِاسلامی کے مرکز پر جانشینی خلافت اور امامت کے حامل علیؑ پر حملہ آور ہوئے یہاں تک کہ اپنے بھائی کے بارے میں مصطفیٰ ؐکاعہد و پیمان توڑ دیا جو ہدایت کا نشان اور ہلاکت کے راستوں سے راہِ نجات کی طرف لانے والے تھے۔

وَمَعْدِنِ الْوَصِيَّةِ وَالْخِلَافَةِ وَالْاِمَامَةِ حَتّٰى نَقَضُوْا عَهْدَ الْمُصْطَفٰى فِيْ اَخِيْهِ عَلَمِ الْهُدٰى وَالْمُبَيِّنِ طَرِيْقَ النَّجَاةِ مِنْ طُرُقِ الرَّدٰى وَجَرَحُوْا كَبِدَ خَيْرِ الْوَرٰى فِيْ ظُلْمِ ابْنَتِهٖ وَاضْطِهَادِ حَبِيْبَتِهٖ وَاهْتِضَامِ عَزِيْزَتِهٖ بَضْعَةِ لَحْمِهٖ وَفِلْذَةِ كَبِدِهٖ وَخَذَلُوْا بَعْلَهَا وَصَغَّرُوْا قَدْرَهٗ وَاسْتَحَلُّوْا مَحَارِمَهٗ وَقَطَعُوْا رَحِمَهٗ وَاَنْكَرُوْا اُخُوَّتَهٗ وَهَجَرُوْا مَوَدَّتَهٗ وَنَقَضُوْا طَاعَتَهٗ وَجَحَدُوْا وِلَايَتَهٗ، وَاَطْمَعُوا (اَطْعَمُوا) الْعَبِيْدَ فِيْ خِلَافَتِهٖ وَقَادُوْهُ اِلٰى بَيْعَتِهِمْ مُصْلِتَةً سُيُوْفَهَا مُقْذِعَةً (مُشْرِعَةً) اَسِنَّتَهَا وَهُوَ سَاخِطُ الْقَلْبِ هَائِجُ الْغَضَبِ شَدِيْدُ الصَّبْرِ كَاظِمُ الْغَيْظِ۔

They therefore preached the covenant (that they had made) to the chosen Prophet as regards the leadership of his brother, the sign of true guidance (namely, Imam Ali) who alone can distinguish the path of salvation from these of perdition, and they injured the heart of the best of beings (namely, the Holy Prophet) when they oppressed and wronged his daughter; the much-loved one to him, aggrieved his dearest one; the part of his flesh and the piece of his heart, disappointed her husband, belittled him, violated his sanctities, ruptured relations of kinship with him, denied his fraternity (with the Holy Prophet), neglected his love for him, defied their (obligatory) obedience to him, denied his leadership (over them), gave even the slaves the opportunity to seize his position of leadership, and led him to swear allegiance to them under unsheathed swords and directed spears while he was extremely irritated and enormously wrathful, but very patient and self-possessed.

نیز انہوں نے پیغمبر اکرمؐ کا جگر زخمی کیا جب ا ن کی دخترپر ظلم کیا ان کی پیاری کا دل جلایا ان کی نظروں میں عزّت والی کو رنجیدہ کیا جو ان کے جسم کا حصہ اور ان کے جگر کا ٹکڑا تھیں پھر ان کے شوہر کا ساتھ چھوڑ دیا ان کی عزّت کم تر سمجھی ان کی حرمتوں کو پامال کیا ان سے رشتہ داری کا لحاظ نہ کیا ان کو مومن بھائی نہ جانا ان کی محبت ترک کر دی ان کی اطاعت سے نکل گئے ان کی ولایت سے انکار کیا غلاموں کو ان کے حق ِخلافت پر حریص بنایا اور انہیں اپنی بیعت کے لئے کھینچ لائے جب کہ ان پر تلواریں اٹھائے نیزے تانے ہوئے تھے ایسے میں ان کا دل رنجیدہ تھا سینے میں غضب بھرا تھا لیکن صبر سے کام لے رہے تھے غصے کو پی رہے تھے۔

يَدْعُوْنَهٗ اِلٰى بَيْعَتِهِمُ الَّتِيْ عَمَّ شُوْمُهَا الْاِسْلَامَ وَزَرَعَتْ فِيْ قُلُوْبِ اَهْلِهَا الْآثَامَ وَعَقَّتْ (وَعَنَّفَتْ) سَلْمَانَهَا وَطَرَدَتْ مِقْدَادَهَا وَنَفَتْ جُنْدُبَهَا وَفَتَقَتْ بَطْنَ عَمَّارِهَا وَحَرَّفَتِ الْقُرْآنَ وَبَدَّلَتِ الْاَحْكَامَ وَغَيَّرَتِ الْمَقَامَ وَاَبَاحَتِ الْخُمُسَ لِلطُّلَقَاءِ وَسَلَّطَتْ اَوْلَادَ اللُّعَنَاءِ عَلَى الْفُرُوْجِ وَالدِّمَاءِ وَخَلَّطَتِ الْحَلَالَ بِالْحَرَامِ وَاسْتَخَفَّتْ بِالْاِيْمَانِ وَالْاِسْلَامِ وَهَدَمَتِ الْكَعْبَةَ، وَاَغَارَتْ عَلٰى دَارِ الْهِجْرَةِ يَوْمَ الْحَرَّةِ وَاَبْرَزَتْ بَنَاتِ الْمُهَاجِرِيْنَ وَالْاَنْصَارِ لِلنَّكَالِ وَالسَّوْرَةِ (وَالسَّوْءَةِ) وَاَلْبَسَتْهُنَّ ثَوْبَ الْعَارِ وَالْفَضِيْحَةِ وَرَخَّصَتْ لِاَهْلِ الشُّبْهَةِ فِيْ قَتْلِ اَهْلِ بَيْتِ الصَّفْوَةِ وَاِبَادَةِ نَسْلِهٖ وَاسْتِيْصَالِ شَأْفَتِهٖ وَسَبْيِ حَرَمِهٖ وَقَتْلِ اَنْصَارِهٖ وَكَسْرِ مِنْۢبَرِهٖ وَقَلْبِ مَفْخَرِهٖ وَاِخْفَاءِ دِيْنِهٖ وَقَطْعِ ذِكْرِهٖ۔

They were asking him to swear allegiance to their rulership whose misfortune prevailed in Islam absolutely and planted sins in the hearts of the Muslims. They therefore acted insubordinately towards Salman, banished Miqdad, exiled Jundab, tore the abdomen of Ammar, distorted the (true interpretation of the) Qur’an, misrepresented the religious laws, changed the place of maqaam, gave free hand to the released ones to dispose of the khumus tax, set up the descendants of the accursed ones as absolute rulers over the honors and blood (of Muslims), intermixed the lawful with the unlawful, belittled faith and Islam, demolished the (Holy) Ka`bah, raided the abode of the (Holy Prophet’s) immigration on the day of Harrah Raid, subjected the daughters of the emigrants and the supporters to punishment and humiliation, caused them to dress the garments of disgrace and scandal, and allowed the suspicious people to massacre the choice Household (of the Holy Prophet), to eradicate his (ie. the Holy Prophet) offspring, to eliminate his progeny, to capture his harem, to kill his supporters, to destroy his minbar, to turn over his object of pride, to conceal his religion, and to cut off his mention.

وہ آپ سےاپنی بیعت کراتے تھے وہ بیعت جس سے اسلام کی شامت آئی اور وہ بیعت جس نے لوگوں کے دلوں میں بتوں کی محبت پیدا کردی سلمان ِمحمدیؐ کونظر انداز کیا مقداد کوگھر سے نکال دیا ابوذرکو پردیسی بنادیا، عمار کے پیٹ پر لاتیں ماریں،قرآن میں تحریف کردی، احکام ِدین بدل دیے، خلافت غیروں نے لے لی، خمس مکہ میں آزاد کئے ہوؤں کے لئے مباح کردیا، ملعونوں کی اولاد لوگوں کی عزّت و ناموس پر مسلط ہوگئی حلال کو حرام کے ساتھ ملادیاگیا، ایمان اور اسلام کو بے اہمیت بنا دیا،عمارت ِکعبہ کو ڈھا دیا اور مقام ِہجرت مدینہ میں حرّہ کے دن لوٹ مار کی مہاجرین و انصارکی عورتوں کی بے حرمتی کی اور ان کو سزائیں دیں اس طرح ان کو بے عزّت اوررسوا کر دیا منافق افراد کو پیغمبرؐ کی پاک اولاد کو قتل کرنے، آپ کی پاک وپاکیزہ نسل کو ختم کرنے،ان کی جڑکاٹ ڈالنے، ان کے اہل حرم کو قید کرنے، ان کے انصار کو قتل کرنے،ان کے منبر کو ویران کرنے،ان کے افتخار کو مٹانے،ان کے دین کو چھپانے اور ان کے ذکر کو بند کرنے پر لگایا۔

يَا مَوَالِيَّ فَلَوْ عَايَنَكُمُ الْمُصْطَفٰى وَسِهَامُ الْاُمَّةِ مُغْرَقَةٌ فِيْ اَكْبَادِكُمْ وَرِمَاحُهُمْ مُشْرَعَةٌ فِيْ نُحُوْرِكُمْ وَسُيُوْفُهَا مُوْلَغَةٌ (مُوْلَعَةٌ) فِيْ دِمَائِكُمْ يَشْفِيْ اَبْنَاءُ الْعَوَاهِرِ غَلِيْلَ الْفِسْقِ مِنْ وَرَعِكُمْ وَغَيْظَ الْكُفْرِ مِنْ اِيْمَانِكُمْ، وَاَنْتُمْ بَيْنَ صَرِيْعٍ فِي الْمِحْرَابِ قَدْ فَلَقَ السَّيْفُ هَامَتَهٗ وَشَهِيْدٍ فَوْقَ الْجَنَازَةِ قَدْ شُكَّتْ اَكْفَانُهٗ بِالسِّهَامِ (شُبِّكَتْ بِالسِّهَامِ اَكْفَانُهٗ) وَقَتِيْلٍ بِالْعَرَاءِ قَدْ رُفِعَ فَوْقَ الْقَنَاةِ رَأْسُهٗ وَمُكَبَّلٍ فِي السِّجْنِ قَدْ رُضَّتْ بِالْحَدِيْدِ اَعْضَاؤُهٗ وَمَسْمُوْمٍ قَدْ قُطِّعَتْ (قُطِعَتْ) بِجُرَعِ السَّمِّ اَمْعَاؤُهٗ وَشَمْلُكُمْ (شَمَلَكُمْ) عَبَادِيْدُ تُفْنِيْهِمُ الْعَبِيْدُ وَاَبْنَاءُ الْعَبِيْدِ۔

O my masters, had the chosen Prophet seen how the lances of the community (of him) were infixed in your hearts, how their spears were inserted into your throats, and how their swords are covered with your blood, while the sons of whores were quenching their thirst of licentiousness from your godliness, their thirst of atheism from your faith, and one of you was thrown down in the niche while his head is split by sword, another one was martyred and during his funeral procession arrows heavily stuck his coffin, another one was slain and his body was left in the wasteland while his head was raised on a spearhead, another one was enchained in the prison while fetters slept in his limbs, another one was poisoned and poison cut his intestine into parts, and your people are thus scattered; they were terminated by the slaves and the slaves’ sons!

اے میرے آقاؤ! پس اگر جناب مصطفیٰ ؐآپؑ کو دیکھیں کہ امت کے تیر آپ کے سینوں میں پیوست ہیں ان کے نیزے آپ کی گردنوں میں گڑے ہیں ان کی تلواریں بے جھجک آپ کے خون کو بہا رہی ہیں زنازادوں کے بد کار بیٹےآپ کے تقویٰ سے پیاس بجھا رہے ہیں کفر کا غصہ آپ کے ایمان سے ٹھنڈا کررہےہیں اور آپ ؑمحراب میں قتل ہوئےپڑے ہیں ان کی سخت تلوارنے آپ کا سر زخمی کیا اور آپ شہید ہوکر جنازے پر پڑے ہیں کسی کے کفن میں تیروں کی انیاں گڑی ہیں یا لاش بیابان میں پڑی ہے کٹا ہوا سر نیزے پر چڑھایا ہوا ہے یا زندان میں بند کر رکھاہے کہ اعضا بند لوہے کے زہر سے زخم زخم ہیں جب کہ دل وجگر جام ِزہر سے ٹکڑے ٹکڑے ہیں آپ کے افرادِ خاندان آوارہ وطن ہیں جن کو غلاموں اور غلام زادوں نے قتل کیا۔

فَهَلِ الْمِحَنُ يَا سَادَتِيْ اِلَّا الَّتِيْ لَزِمَتْكُمْ وَالْمَصَائِبُ اِلَّا الَّتِيْ عَمَّتْكُمْ وَالْفَجَائِعُ اِلَّا الَّتِيْ خَصَّتْكُمْ وَالْقَوَارِعُ اِلَّا الَّتِيْ طَرَقَتْكُمْ صَلَوَاتُ اللهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَعَلٰى اَرْوَاحِكُمْ وَاَجْسَادِكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهٗ۔

Are ordeals other than those which escorted you? Are misfortunes other than those which afflicted you? Are catastrophes other than those which affected you? Are disasters other than those which distressed you? Allah’s blessings be upon you and upon your souls and your bodies. Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon you.

پس اے میرے سردارو! آیا کوئی سختی رہ گئی ہے جو آپ پر نہیں آئی اور کوئی مصیبت ہے جو آپ پر نہیں گزری کوئی حادثہ ہے جو آپ کے لئے لازم نہ ٹھہرا ہو اور کوئی تکلیف ہے جو آپ کو نہیں پہنچی ہو آپ پر آپ کی پاک روحوں اور آپ کے طاہر بدنوں پر خدا کا درود ہو خدا کی رحمت ہو اور اس کی برکات ہوں۔

بِاَبِيْ اَنْتُمْ وَاُمِّيْ يَا آلَ الْمُصْطَفٰى اِنَّا لَا نَمْلِكُ اِلَّا اَنْ نَطُوْفَ حَوْلَ مَشَاهِدِكُمْ وَنُعَزِّيَ فِيْهَا اَرْوَاحَكُمْ عَلٰى هٰذِهِ الْمَصَائِبِ الْعَظِيْمَةِ الْحَالَّةِ بِفِنَائِكُمْ وَالرَّزَايَا الْجَلِيْلَةِ النَّازِلَةِ بِسَاحَتِكُمُ الَّتِيْ اَثْبَتَتْ فِيْ قُلُوْبِ شِيْعَتِكُمُ الْقُرُوْحَ وَاَوْرَثَتْ اَكْبَادَهُمُ الْجُرُوْحَ وَزَرَعَتْ فِيْ صُدُوْرِهِمُ الْغُصَصَ۔

May Allah accept my father and mother as ransoms for you, O Household of the chosen Prophet. We have nothing to do more than circumambulating your shrines so as to console your souls for such grave misfortunes that afflicted you and unbearable hardships that distressed you; such hardships that fixed wounds in the hearts of your adherents, installed injuries in their interiors, and implanted pains in their chests.

میرے ماں باپ آپ پر قربان اے اولاد مصطفیٰ ؐ!ہم کچھ نہیں کرسکتے سوائے اس کے کہ آپ کے نورانی مقبروں کا طواف کرتےرہیں آپ کی روحوں کو تسلیت پیش کرتے رہیں ان بڑی بڑی مصیبتوں پر جو آپ کے آستانہ پر آئیں اور بھاری سختیاں جو آپ کو پیش آئیں جن سے آپ کےمحبوں کے دل زخمی ہوگئے ان کے جگر خون ہو کر رہ گئے اور ان کے سینے غم واندوہ سے بھرے ہوئے ہیں۔

فَنَحْنُ نُشْهِدُ اللهَ اَنَّا قَدْ شَارَكْنَا اَوْلِيَاءَكُمْ وَاَنْصَارَكُمُ الْمُتَقَدِّمِيْنَ فِيْ اِرَاقَةِ دِمَاءِ النَّاكِثِيْنَ وَالْقَاسِطِيْنَ وَالْمَارِقِيْنَ وَقَتَلَةِ اَبِيْ عَبْدِ اللهِ سَيِّدِ شَبَابِ اَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ يَوْمَ كَرْبَلَاءَ بِالنِّيَّاتِ وَالْقُلُوْبِ وَالتَّاَسُّفِ عَلٰى فَوْتِ تِلْكَ الْمَوَاقِفِ الَّتِيْ حَضَرُوْا لِنُصْرَتِكُمْ وَعَلَيْكُمْ مِنَّا السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهٗ۔

So, we ask Allah to witness for us that we have participated with your allies and supporters who passed in time, in the bloodshed of the preachers, the wrongdoers, and the apostates and of those who slain Abu Abdullah the chief of the youth of Paradise, peace be upon him on that day in Karbala yet in intentions and hearts and in feeling sorry for missing these situations that your allies and supporters witnessed and backed you. Peace from us be upon you. Allah’s mercy and blessings, too, be upon you.

پس ہم خدا کو گواہ بناتے ہیں کہ ضرور ہم شریک ہیں آپ کے جنگ آزما دوستوں اور مددگاروں کے ساتھ بیعت توڑنے والوں تفرقہ ڈالنے والوں اور ضدی خارجیوں کا خون بہانے اور قاتلان ِحسین ؑ سے بدلہ لینےمیں کہ جو جوانانِ جنت کے سردار ہیں ان پر ہمارا سلام ہو ہماری نیتوں اور دلوں میں افسوس ہے کہ ہم ان موقعوں پر موجود نہ تھےجب آپ کے محب آپ کی مدد کررہے تھے آپ پر ہماراسلام ہو خد اکی رحمت ہو اور اس کی برکات ہوں۔

اَللّٰهُمَّ يَا ذَا الْقُدْرَةِ الَّتِيْ صَدَرَ عَنْهَا الْعَالَمُ مُكَوَّنًا مَبْرُوْءًا عَلَيْهَا مَفْطُوْرًا تَحْتَ ظِلِّ الْعَظَمَةِ فَنَطَقَتْ شَوَاهِدُ صُنْعِكَ فِيْهِ بِاَنَّكَ اَنْتَ اللهُ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ مُكَوِّنُهٗ وَبَارِئُهٗ وَفَاطِرُهُ ابْتَدَعْتَهٗ لَا مِنْ شَيْ‏ءٍ وَلَا عَلٰى شَيْ‏ءٍ وَلَا فِيْ شَيْ‏ءٍ وَلَا لِوَحْشَةٍ دَخَلَتْ عَلَيْكَ اِذْ لَا غَيْرُكَ وَلَا حَاجَةٍ بَدَتْ لَكَ فِيْ تَكْوِيْنِهٖ وَلَا لَاسْتِعَانَةٍ مِنْكَ عَلَى الْخَلْقِ (مَا تَخْلُقُ) بَعْدَهٗ بَلْ اَنْشَأْتَهٗ لِيَكُوْنَ دَلِيْلًا عَلَيْكَ بِاَنَّكَ بَائِنٌ مِنَ الصُّنْعِ فَلَا يُطِيْقُ الْمُنْصِفُ لِعَقْلِهٖ اِنْكَارَكَ وَالْمَوْسُوْمُ بِصِحَّةِ الْمَعْرِفَةِ جُحُوْدَكَ۔

O Allah! O Lord of the power due to which the world has been brought into existence, created, and originated under the shadow of magnificence. So, the witnesses of Your making in it have witnessed that You are Allah; there is no god save You, the Maker, Creator, and Originator of it. You have invented it from no precedent sample, on account of nothing, in nothing, not for feeling of loneliness that You may experience because there in none save You, not for any need that caused You to make it, and not for the reason that it may help You create more after it. Rather, You have formed it so that it would act as proof (on the fact) that You are too far above being made. So, the fair-minded cannot deny You and the sound knowledgeable cannot refute You.

اے معبود! اے ایسی قدرت کے مالک جس سے یہ کائنات وجود میں آئی اور یہ پیدا ہوئی اس نے ایسی عظیم قدرت کے سائے میں قرار پکڑا پس تیری کاریگری کے نشان جو دنیا میں ہیں وہ گواہی دیتے ہیں کہ تو ہی اﷲہے کہ تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں جس نے دنیا بنائی اسے صورت دی، اسے پیدا کیا، اسے ایجاد کیا نہ کسی چیزسے نہ کسی چیزکے بعد نہ کسی چیز کے اندراور نہ اسے خوف کے سبب سےبنایا جو تجھ پر طاری ہوا ہو کہ تیرے سوا کوئی موجود نہ تھا نہ تجھے اس کے پید اکرنے کی حاجت و ضرورت تھی نہ تو نے دنیا اس لئے بنائی کہ بعد میں مخلوق تیری مدد کرے گی بلکہ تو نے یہ اس لیےپیدا کی کہ یہ تیری ذات کی دلیل ٹھہرے کہ تو اس مخلوق سے جدا والگ ہے پس کوئی باانصاف عاقل تیری ذات کا منکرنہیں ہوسکتااور کوئی صحیح معرفت رکھنے والا شخص تیرا انکار نہیں کرسکتا۔

اَسْاَلُكَ بِشَرَفِ الْاِخْلَاصِ فِيْ تَوْحِيْدِكَ، وَحُرْمَةِ التَّعَلُّقِ بِكِتَابِكَ وَاَهْلِ بَيْتِ نَبِيِّكَ اَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلٰى آدَمَ بَدِيْعِ فِطْرَتِكَ وَبِكْرِ حُجَّتِكَ وَلِسَانِ قُدْرَتِكَ وَالْخَلِيْفَةِ فِيْ بَسِيْطَتِكَ وَعَلٰى مُحَمَّدِ الْخَالِصِ مِنْ صَفْوَتِكَ وَالْفَاحِصِ عَنْ مَعْرِفَتِكَ وَالْغَائِصِ الْمَأْمُوْنِ عَلٰى مَكْنُوْنِ سَرِيْرَتِكَ بِمَا اَوْلَيْتَهٗ مِنْ نِعْمَتِكَ بِمَعُوْنَتِكَ وَعَلٰى مَنْ بَيْنَهُمَا مِنَ النَّبِيِّيْنَ وَالْمُكَرَّمِيْنَ وَالْاَوْصِيَاءِ وَالصِّدِّيْقِيْنَ وَاَنْ تَهَبَنِيْ لِاِمَامِيْ هٰذَا۔

I thus beseech You by the honor of sincere belief in Your Oneness, the holiness of abidance by Your Book, and the Household of Your Prophet to send blessings upon Adam the example on Your creation, the foremost of Your Argument, the spokesman of Your omnipotence, and the representative of You on Your lands and upon Muhammad the choicest of Your choice, the evidence on the recognition of You, the profound, and the trustee on Your most hidden secrets due to Your grace that You have bestowed upon him out of Your aid; and (send blessings) upon the Prophets, the honored ones, the Prophets’ successors, and the truthful ones who came between these two; and to forgive me for the sake of this Imam, my leader.

سوال کرتا ہوں تجھ سے تیری توحیدکے واسطے سےمیں خلوص کے شرف تیری کتاب اور تیرے نبیؐ کے اہل بیؑت سے تعلقِ حرمت کے ذریعے کہ تو حضرت آدمؑ پر رحمت فرما جو تیری مخلوق میں نقش ِاوّل،تیری اولین حجت تیری قدرت کے بیان گر اور تیری وسیع زمین میں تیرے نائب ہیں اور محمدؐ پر رحمت کر جو تیرے خاص برگزیدہ،تیری معرفت میں پوری طرح کوشاں اور تیرے راز تک پہنچنے والےامانت دار اور تلاش کار ہیں کیوں کہ تو نے ان کو اپنی نعمت اور مدد عطا کی ہے اور ان پیغمبروںؑ پر رحمت کر اور صاحبان ِکرامت اوصیاء پر اور صدیقوں پر رحمت کرجو آدم ؑومحمدؐ کے درمیان گزرےہیں اور میرے اس امام ؑکے واسطے مجھے بخش دے۔

اَللّٰهُمَّ بِمَحَلِّ هٰذَا السَّيِّدِ مِنْ طَاعَتِكَ وَبِمَنْزِلَتِهٖ عِنْدَكَ لَا تُمِتْنِيْ فُجَاءَةً وَلَا تَحْرِمْنِيْ تَوْبَةً وَارْزُقْنِي الْوَرَعَ عَنْ مَحَارِمِكَ دِيْنًا وَدُنْيَا وَاشْغَلْنِيْ بِالْآخِرَةِ عَنْ طَلَبِ الْاُوْلٰى وَ وَفِّقْنِيْ لِمَا تُحِبُّ وَتَرْضٰى وَجَنِّبْنِي اتِّبَاعَ الْهَوٰى وَالْاِغْتِرَارَ بِالْاَبَاطِيْلِ وَالْمُنٰى۔

O Allah, (I beseech You) by the position of this chief as regards his obedience to You and by the rank of him with You, do not grasp my soul suddenly, do not deprive me of repentance, make me stop at the worldly and religious matters that You have deemed forbidden, make my engagement in the affairs of my Next World distract me from the affairs of this worldly life, lead me successfully to all that which You please and like, and keep me away from following my own whims and being seduced by abortive acts and deceitful expectations.

اے معبود! اس سردار نے تیری جو اطاعت کی اس کےواسطے سے اور ان کی جو عزّت تیرے ہاں ہےاس کے واسطے سے مجھے حادثات ِموت سے بچا توبہ سے محروم نہ کر مجھے دین و دنیا میں اپنے حرام کردہ کاموں سے پرہیز کی توفیق دے مجھے دنیا کی جگہ آخرت میں مشغول رکھ مجھے ان کاموں کی توفیق دے جو تجھے پسند ہیں اور مجھ کو خواہش پرستی اور جھوٹی باتوں اور بے جا تمناؤں کے دھوکے سے بچا۔

اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلِ السَّدَادَ فِيْ قَوْلِيْ وَالصَّوَابَ فِيْ فِعْلِيْ وَالصِّدْقَ وَالْوَفَاءَ فِيْ ضَمَانِيْ وَ وَعْدِيْ وَالْحِفْظَ وَالْاِيْنَاسَ مَقْرُوْنَيْنِ بِعَهْدِيْ وَ وَعْدِيْ وَالْبِرَّ وَالْاِحْسَانَ مِنْ شَأْنِيْ وَخُلُقِيْ وَاجْعَلِ السَّلَامَةَ لِيْ شَامِلَةً وَالْعَافِيَةَ بِيْ مُحِيْطَةً مُلْتَفَّةً وَلَطِيْفَ صُنْعِكَ وَعَوْنِكَ مَصْرُوْفًا اِلَيَّ وَحُسْنَ تَوْفِيْقِكَ وَيُسْرِكَ مَوْفُوْرًا عَلَيَّ وَاَحْيِنِيْ يَا رَبِّ سَعِيْدًا، وَتَوَفَّنِيْ شَهِيْدًا وَطَهِّرْنِيْ لِلْمَوْتِ وَمَا بَعْدَهٗ۔

O Allah, (please do) make all my speech apposite, all my deeds correct, and all my pledges and covenants truthful and honest, add fulfillment and amiability to my oaths and promises, add righteousness and good-doing to my conduct and morals, grant me comprehensive safety, make good health encompass and include me, make Your kind making and aid direct towards me, make Your granting of success and prosperity flow towards me abundantly, make me live, O my Lord, with happiness, grasp my soul as martyr, and purify me for death and what is beyond.

اے معبود! میرے قول میں درستی، میرے فعل میں راستی و صداقت قرار دے میرے عہد و پیمان اور وعدے میں صدق و وفا، قرار دے میرے عہدو پیمان میں پائداری اور قوت اور میرے اخلاق وکردار میں نیکی و عمدگی پیدا فرما اور سلامتی کو میرے شاملِ حال فرمااور آسائش کو میرے چاروں طرف جگہ دےاپنی بہترین کاریگری اورمددگاری کا رخ میری طرف کردے اپنی طرف سے بہترین توفیق اورآسانی مجھے عطا فرما اور اے پروردگار! مجھے نیک بختی کی زندگی اور شہادت کی موت دے او راس کے بعد پاک رکھ۔

اَللّٰهُمَّ وَاجْعَلِ الصِّحَّةَ وَالنُّوْرَ فِيْ سَمْعِيْ وَ بَصَرِيْ وَالْجِدَةَ وَالْخَيْرَ فِيْ طُرُقِيْ وَالْهُدٰى وَالْبَصِيْرَةَ فِيْ دِيْنِيْ وَمَذْهَبِيْ وَالْمِيْزَانَ اَبَدًا نَصْبَ عَيْنِيْ وَالذِّكْرَ وَالْمَوْعِظَةَ شِعَارِيْ وَدِثَارِيْ وَالْفِكْرَةَ وَالْعِبْرَةَ اُنْسِيْ وَعِمَادِيْ وَمَكِّنِ الْيَقِيْنَ فِيْ قَلْبِيْ وَاجْعَلْهٗ اَوْثَقَ الْاَشْيَاءِ فِيْ نَفْسِيْ وَاغْلِبْهُ عَلٰى رَأْيِيْ وَعَزْمِيْ وَاجْعَلِ الْاِرْشَادَ فِيْ عَمَلِيْ وَالتَّسْلِيْمَ لِاَمْرِكَ مِهَادِيْ وَسَنَدِيْ وَالرِّضَا بِقَضَائِكَ وَقَدَرِكَ اَقْصٰى عَزْمِيْ وَنِهَايَتِيْ وَاَبْعَدَ هَمِّيْ وَغَايَتِيْ حَتّٰى لَا اَتَّقِيَ اَحَدًا مِنْ خَلْقِكَ بِدِيْنِيْ وَلَا اَطْلُبَ بِهٖ غَيْرَ آخِرَتِيْ وَلَا اَسْتَدْعِيَ مِنْهُ اِطْرَائِيْ وَمَدْحِيْ۔

O Allah, add health and light to my hearing and sight, add straightness and goodness to my courses, add true guidance and insight to my belief and faith, make the scale of deeds always before my eyes, make remembrance of You and exhortation to be my layer and cover, make ponderation and learning lessons (from others) to be my entertainment and basis, make my heart open its doors to conviction, make it the most certain thing in myself, make it prevail on my views and determinations, add true direction to my deeds, make my submission to Your decisions to be my bed and my support, and make my satisfaction with Your acts to be my utmost purpose, end result, and the furthest of my reason and intention so that I shall not fear anybody in matters appertained to my religion, I shall intend for nothing other than success in my next life, and I shall not hope for praise or approval for it.

اے معبود! میرے کانوں اور آنکھوں میں صحت اور نور پیدا فرما میری راہوں کو بہتر وبارونق کر مجھ کو دین ومذہب میں ہدایت اور فہم دے عدل کا ترازو ہمیشہ میری آنکھوں کے سامنے رکھ کہ ذکر اور نصیحت میرا شیوہ و عادت ہو فکر و عبرت کو میرے لئے تسلی واعتمادکا ذریعہ بنا اور یقین کو میرے دل میں جاگزیں کر دے اس کو میرے لئے ذریعۂ اعتماد بنا اور اسےمیری عقل اور ارادے پرغالب کردے میرے عمل میں ہدایت کو جگہ دے اپنےحکم کے سامنے جھکنا میرے لئے سکون کا سبب بنا اپنے قضاوقدر پرمجھے مطمئن رکھ اور وہی میرے ارادے کی انتہا اور میری ہمت ومقصد کا آخر ہو۔

وَاجْعَلْ خَيْرَ الْعَوَاقِبِ عَاقِبَتِيْ، وَخَيْرَ الْمَصَايِرِ مَصِيْرِيْ وَاَنْعَمَ الْعَيْشِ عَيْشِيْ وَاَفْضَلَ الْهُدٰى هُدَايَ وَاَوْفَرَ الْحُظُوْظِ حَظِّيْ وَاَجْزَلَ الْاَقْسَامِ قِسْمِيْ وَنَصِيْبِيْ وَكُنْ لِيْ يَا رَبِّ مِنْ كُلِّ سُوْءٍ وَلِيًّا وَاِلٰى كُلِّ خَيْرٍ دَلِيْلًا وَقَائِدًا وَمِنْ كُلِّ بَاغٍ وَحَسُوْدٍ ظَهِيْرًا وَمَانِعًا۔

And (please do) make my end result to be the best of all, make my destiny to be the best of all, make my livelihood to be the most luxurious of all, lead me to the truest guidance, make my portion to be the most abundant, make my share to be the largest, and (please), O my Lord, be my guardian against all evils, my guide and leader to all decencies, and my backer and protector against all oppressors and envious ones.

یہاں تک کہ میں اپنے دین کے بارے میں کسی مخلوق سے نہ ڈروں اور سوائے آخرت کے کچھ طلب نہ کروں دین کو اپنی تعریف وستائش کا ذریعہ نہ بناؤں اور میری عاقبت کو بہترین عاقبت قرار دے میرے ٹھکانے کو بہترین ٹھکانا اور میری زندگی اور میری ہدایت کو بہترین ہدایت اور میرے حصے کو بڑا حصہ اور میری قسمت کو اونچی قسمت اور نصیب بنادے۔

اَللّٰهُمَّ بِكَ اعْتِدَادِيْ وَعِصْمَتِيْ وَثِقَتِيْ وَتَوْفِيْقِيْ وَحَوْلِيْ وَقُوَّتِيْ وَلَكَ مَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِيْ وَفِيْ قَبْضَتِكَ سُكُوْنِيْ وَحَرَكَتِيْ وَاِنَّ بِعُرْوَتِكَ الْوُثْقَى اسْتِمْسَاكِيْ وَ وُصْلَتِيْ وَعَلَيْكَ فِي الْاُمُوْرِ كُلِّهَا اعْتِمَادِيْ وَتَوَكُّلِيْ وَمِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ وَمَسِّ سَقَرَ نَجَاتِيْ وَخَلَاصِيْ وَفِيْ دَارِ اَمْنِكَ وَكَرَامَتِكَ مَثْوَايَ وَمُنْقَلَبِيْ وَعَلٰى اَيْدِيْ سَادَتِيْ وَمَوَالِيَّ آلِ الْمُصْطَفٰى فَوْزِيْ وَفَرَجِيْ۔

O Allah, to You do I resort, with You do I seek protection, in You do I trust, from You do I seek success, from You do I derive might and power, in Your hands are my life and death, under Your control are all my stillness and motions, by Your firmest handle do I abide, to it do I connect, on You do I rely and depend in all of my affairs, and from You do I seek salvation and redemption against the chastisement of Hell and the touch of Hellfire. So (please), decide my final house to be in the abode of Your security and honor and my success and relief to be at the hands of my masters and chiefs the Household of the Chosen Prophet.

اے پروردگار ہر برائی سے میرا نگہبان بن، ہر نیکی کی طرف رہنمائی اورہبری فرما، ہر ظالم اورحاسد کے مقابل میرا مددگار اور محافظ بن اے معبود! تو ہی میرا سہارا ہے تو میری پناہ تو میرا یقین توہی میرا مددگار،محرک اور میری قوت ہے میری زندگی و موت تیرے لئے ہے تیرے ہاتھ میں ہے میرا ٹھہراؤ اور میری حرکت اور بے شک تیرے محکم سلسلے سے تعلق رکھتا اور اس سے جڑا ہوا ہوں تمام معاملوں میں تجھ پرتکیہ کرتا اور بھروسہ رکھتا ہوں توہی عذابِ جہنم اور آگ سے مجھے بچانے اور چھڑانے والا ہے تیرےامن اور عزّت والے گھر میں میرا ٹھکانا اور میری بازگشت ہے اور اولادِ مصطفیٰ ؐ میں سے میرے سردارو و آقاؤں کے ہاتھوں میری کامیابی و کشائش ہے۔

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَالْمُسْلِمِيْنَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ وَاغْفِرْ لِيْ وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَمَا وَلَدَا وَاَهْلِ بَيْتِيْ وَجِيْرَانِيْ وَلِكُلِّ مَنْ قَلَّدَنِيْ يَدًا مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ اِنَّكَ ذُوْ فَضْلٍ عَظِيْمٍ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهٗ۔

O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, forgive the believing men and women and Muslim men and women, forgive my parents, their descendants, my family members, my neighbors, and all the believing men and women for whom I concern. Verily, You are the Lord of immense favor. Peace and Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon you.

اے معبود! محمدؐ وآل محمد ؑ پر رحمت فرما اور مومن مردوں اور مومنہ عورتوں کو بخش دے اور مسلمان مردوں اور مسلمان عورتوں کو بخش دے! اور میرے ماں باپ کو اور ان کی اولاد کو نیز میرے گھر والوں، میرے ہمسایوں اور ان مومنوں اور مومنات کو بخش دے جن کا حق میری گردن پر ہے اس میں شک نہیں کہ تو بڑے فضل وکرم والا ہے۔

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔

Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.

اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
