Shaikh Baha-ee (r)شیخ بہائی ؒ
The Tomb of Baha-o-din Mohamed Ameli, known as Sheikh Baha-ee, is located between Sahen’e Imam and Sahen’e Azadi in the Haram Aastaan’e Quds. Sheikh Baha-ee was born in Baalbak in 953 H. and came to Iran with his father when he was 7 years old. His genealogy dates back to Hareth Hamadani, the famous disciple of Imam Ali (a). He had a great influence on Shah Abbas King of Iran and Iranian politics and culture and has left behind many scientific works.
بہاء الدین محمد عاملی معروف بہ شیخ بہائی کا مرقد صحن امام اور صحن آزادی کے درمیان میں موجود ہے۔ شیخ بہائی ۹۵۳ ھ میں بعلبک میں پیدا ہوئے اور اپنے والد ماجد کے ہمراہ ۷ سال کی عمر میں ایران تشریف لائے ان کا شجرئہ طیبہ حارث ہمدانی جو امام علیؑ کے مشہور صحابی تھے سے جاکر ملتا ہے۔ ان کا شاہ عباس پر خاصا نفوذ تھا اور ایران کی سیاسی اور تہذیبی دنیا میں بہت سے علمی کارنامے انھوں نے انجام دیئے ہیں۔
