It is recommended to offer a two or more rakat namaz at Taaq-e-Qasra (the remnants of the palace of the Sasanid king Khosrow I), because Imam Ali (a) offered a prayer there. Ammar Sabaati has reported that when Imam Ali (a) visited the city of Madaaen, accompanied by Dalaf ibn Bujayr, he wandered in the courtyard of Khosrow’s palace. Having offered a prayer, he stood up and asked Dalaf, who was accompanied by a group from the tribe of Sabat, to accompany him. The Imam (a) wandered around the chambers of Khosrow and in every place, he would tell Dalaf that such-and-such was in that place. Dalaf would answer, “By Allah I swear, this is exactly as you are telling.” When he wandered about all the locations in that palace, Dalaf said to him, “O master and chief, it is as if you have put these things in these places!”
مؤلف کہتے ہیں: یاد رہے کہ جب زائر مدائن آئے اور حضرت سلمان فارسیؓ کی زیارت کر چکے تو وہاں اسے دو اور کام بھی کرنا چاہیے اور وہ یہ ہیں طاق کسریٰ میں جانا اور حضرت حذیفہ یمانی کی زیارت کرنا۔ لہٰذا ہر زائر کے لئے ضروری ہے کہ وہ طاق کسریٰ میں جائے اور وہاں دو رکعت یا اس سے زیادہ نماز ادا کرے کیوں کہ اس جگہ امیرالمؤمنینؑ نے نماز پڑھی تھی۔ عمار ساباطی سے روایت منقول ہے : امیر المؤمنینؑ مدائن تشریف لائے، طاق کسریٰ میں گئے اور دلف ابن بحیر آپ کے ہمراہ تھے،یہاں آپ نے نماز ادا کی اور دلف ابن بحیر سے فرمایا : میرے ساتھ چلو اور آپ بھی چل پڑے۔ جب کہ اہلِ ساباط میں سے ایک گروہ آپ کے ساتھ تھا۔ آپ کسریٰ کے محل میں داخل ہوئے اور دلف ابن بحیر سے فرماتے جا رہے تھے : یہاں کسریٰ کی فلاں چیز اور وہاں فلاں چیز ہوتی تھی، دلف کہتے تھے: قسم بخدا! جو کچھ آپ فرما رہے ہیں وہ درست اور سچ ہے۔ آپ اس گروہ کے ساتھ کسریٰ کے محل میں چلنے پھرنے کے دوران اس کے بارے میں حقائق بیان کرتے جاتے تھے، دلف کہتے تھے : اے میرے مولا! آپ تو اس محل کی ہر خاص بات کو جانتے ہیں گویا آپ نے اس کی ہر چیز کو اپنے ہاتھ سے جابجا رکھا ہے۔
It is also reported that when Imam Ali (a) visited the city of Madaaen and passed by the traces of the palace of Khosrow, a man expressed that state by saying the following poetic verse: “Winds blew over the traces of their homes. As if they had already arranged for a date!” The Imam said, “You should have said (the following verse of the Holy Qur’an)…
روایت میں ہے : اس وقت آپ مدائن پر نگاہ ڈالتے ہوئے کسریٰ کے برباد شدہ محل اور اس کے آثار کو ملاحظہ فرما رہے تھے ایسے میں آپ کے ساتھیوں میں سے کسی ایک نے عبرت کے لئے یہ شعر پڑھا؛ ان کے ویران محلوں پر ہوائیں خاک اڑاتی ہیں، اس کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ ان کا وقت مقرر تھا جو گزرگیا۔ حضرتؑ نے اس شخص سے فرمایا : یہاں تم یہ آیات کیوں نہیں پڑھتے۔۔۔
كَمْ تَرَكُوْا مِنْ جَنَّاتٍ وَّعُیُوْنٍ وَّزُرُوْعٍ وَّمَقَامٍ كَرِیْمٍ وَنَعْمَۃٍ كَانُوْا فِیْهَا فَاكِهِیْنَ كَذٰلِكَ وَاَوْرَثْنَاهَا قَوْمًا آخَرِیْنَ فَمَا بَكَتْ عَلَیْهِمُ السَّمَآءُ وَالْاَرْضُ وَمَا كَانُوْا مُنْظَرِیْنَ۔
Kam tarakoo min jannaatin wa'uyoonin wazuroo'in wamaqaamin kareemin wana'matin kaanoo feehaa faakiheena kazaalika wa-awrathnaahaa qawman aakhareena famaa bakat 'alayhimu as-samaa'u wal-ardu wamaa kaanoo munzareen.
How many of the gardens and fountains have they left! And cornfields and noble places! And goodly things wherein they rejoiced, thus (it was) and We gave them as a heritage to another people. So the heaven and the earth did not weep for them, nor were they respited.
وہ کتنے ہی باغات چھوڑ گئے چشمے کھیتیاں اور اونچے مرتبے اور وہ نعمتیں جن میں خوش تھے اسی طرح ہم نے وہ چیزیں بعد والوں کو دے دیں پس ان پر نہ آسمان رویا اور نہ زمین اور نہ ان کو مہلت ملی۔
Then he (a) said…
اس کے بعد آپؑ نے فرمایا۔۔۔
اِنَّ هٰٓؤُلَاءِ كَانُوْا وَارِثِیْنَ فَاَصْبَحُوْا مَوْرُوْثِیْنَ لَمْ یَشْكُرُوْا النِّعْمَۃَ فَسُلِبُوْا دُنْیَاهُمْ بِالْمَعْصِیَۃِ اِیَّاكُمْ وَكُفْرَ النِّعَمِ لَا تَحُلُّ بِكُمُ النِّقَمُ۔
Inna haa'ulaa'i kaanoo waaritheena fa-asbahoo mawrootheena lam yashkuroo an-ni'mata fasuliboo dunyaahum bil-ma'siyati iyyaakum wakufra an-ni'ami laa tahullu bikumu an-niqam.
Indeed these were inheritors then they became the inherited ones they did not thank for the bounties, hence on the basis of their disobedience the world was also taken away from them. Beware! Do not be thankless (deny) of the bounties lest afflictions (punishments) befall you.
بے شک یہ وارث ہوئے پھروراثت چھوڑ گئے انہوں نے نعمتوں پر شکر نہ کیاان کی دنیا چھن گئی، نافرمانی کی وجہ سے خبردار! نعمتوں کی ناشکری نہ کرنا ورنہ تم پر عذاب نازل ہوگا۔
