شیخ کلینیؒ نے کافی میں امام جعفر صادقؑ سے نقل کیا ہے کہ فرمایا: ماہِ رمضان کے آخری عشرے میں ہر رات کو یہ دعائیں پڑھے۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَعُوْذُ بِجَلَالِ وَجْہِکَ الْکَرِیْمِ اَنْ یَّنْقَضِیَ عَنِّیْ شَہْرُ رَمَضَانَ اَوْ یَطْلُعَ الْفَجْرُ مِنْ لَیْلَتِیْ ہٰذِہٖ وَلَکَ قِبَلِیْ ذَنْۢبٌ اَوْ تَبِعَۃٌ تُعَذِّبُنِیْ عَلَیْہِ۔
A'oozu bijalaali wajhika al-kareemi an yanqadiya 'annee shahru ramadaana aw yatlu'a al-fajru min laylatee haazihee walaka qibalee zanbun aw tabi'atun tu'azzibunee 'alayh.
I seek refuge in the majesty of Your noble visage that this month of Ramazan passes in such a way or that the morning breaks tomorrow in such a condition that a sin or a recompense remains in my account that You will punish me for it.
تیری ذات کریم کی پناہ حاصل کرتا ہوں اس سے کہ جب میرا ماہ رمضان اختتام پذیر ہو یا جب میری اس رات کی فجر طلوع کرے تو میرے ذمے کوئی گناہ یا اس پر گرفت باقی ہو جس پر مجھے عذاب دے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
