18th Zilhaj (Ghadeer)

۱۸؍ذی الحجہ: عید غدیر

1. Whoever recites this supplication shall be under the banner of Imam Mahdi (a) and his tent among the generous and associates. Allamah Majlisi said: we have narrated with connected chain of collectors what Mohammad bin Ali Al-Tarazi has narrated in his book while reporting from Muhammad bin Sanan , from Daud bin Katheer Al-Raqi, from Amarah bin Jaween Abi Harun Al-Abdi; we have also narrated from Sheikh Mufid, Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Al-Nu'man of what he has narrated from Amarah bin Jaween Abi Harun Al- Abdi, he said: I entered to Abi Abdullah (a) on the eighteenth day of Zil Hijjah and I met him fasting, he said: "This day, God has made it a sanctuary for the believers when He perfected His Religion and completed His favour on them and renew His covenant of the early creation with them, when Allah made them to remember and they accepted it from Him and He did not make them people of denial and those that disavowed" I said to him: may my soul be sacrifice for you: what shall be the reward for those that fast this day? He said: "this day is a day of joy and happiness and the fasting is a thanks giving to Almighty Allah, verily fasting this day is equivalent to 60 months fasting of the sacred month.

   جو بھی اس دعا کو پڑھے وہ اس شخص کی طرح ہے کہ جو حضرت قائم کے علم کے نیچے ہے۔ علامہ مجلسی نے سند کے ساتھ شیخ مفید سے اس طرح روایت کی ہے ابوھارون عبدی کہتاہے کہ ۱۸ ذوالحجہ کو حضرت امام صادق کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا حضرت روزہ سے تھے فرمایا آج وہ دن ہے کہ خداوند متعال نے اس دن کے احترام کو مومنین کے لئے بہت بڑی عید شمار کیا ہے چونکہ خدا نے اس دن دین کو ان کے لئے کامل اور نعمت کو تمام کیا ہے جو عہد و پیمان ان کی پیدائش کے وقت ان سے لیا تھا جس کو وہ فراموش کرچکے تھے غدیر کے دن تجدید کی ہے اور اس کو قبول کرنے کی توفیق دی ہے اور خدا نے ان کو ان لوگوں سے قرار نہیں دیا ہے کہ اس امر کے منکر ہیں میں نے عرض کیا میں آپ پر قربان ہوجاؤں آج کے دن روزہ رکھنے کا ثواب کتنا ہے فرمایا آج عید اور خوشی کا دن ہے اس دن روزہ رکھنا خدا کا شکر ادا کرنے کے لئے ہے آج کے دن روزہ رکھنا محترم مہینوں میں ساٹھ مہینوں میں روزہ رکھنے کے برابر ہے۔

2. Before dua offer 2 units (Rakat) of prayer at any time of this day (but the better before Zuhr prayer because that was the time the commander of the faithful (a) was conferred with the successorship in Ghadeer Khum before the general public). Offer 2 rakat namaz, in 1st rakat after Surah Fateha, recite Surah Qadr and in 2nd rakat after Surah Fateha, recite Surah Ikhlaas. After namaz go into sajdah and say 100 times…

   دُعا سے پہلے دن ۲ رکعت نماز پڑھے جب بھی پڑھے اور بہتر یہ ہے کہ ظہر کے نزدیک پڑھے یہ وہ وقت ہے کہ غدیر خم میں حضرت امیرالمومنین لوگوں پر امیر ہوئے ہیں چونکہ اسی وقت غدیر خم کے کنارے پر پہنچے۔ ۲رکعت نماز بجا لائے جس کی پہلی رکعت میں سورۂ فاتحہ کے بعد سورۂ قدر اور دوسری رکعت میں سورۂ فاتحہ کے بعد سورۂ اخلاص پڑھے اور نماز کے بعد سجدہ میں جا کر ۱۰۰ مرتبہ کہے۔۔۔

3. شُكْرًا لِلّٰهِ۔

   SHUKRAN LILLAAH.

   Thanks to Allah.

   شکر ہے خدا کے لیے۔

4. Then get up from sajdah and recite dua Allahumma… Hamdo Wahdaka.

   پھر سر سجدے سے اٹھاکر دعا اَللّٰهُمَّ۔۔۔ الْحَمْدُ وَحْدَكَ پڑھے۔

5. A Hadith says 'One who does this amaal is entitled to receive the reward of a person who was present at Ghadeer, had heard the declaration, and accepted it as true'. Whoever offers all this, is like he is present that day and give allegiance to the Messenger of Allah (s) on that, and his rank is like that of the trustworthy ones that certify Allah and His Messenger in paying allegiance to their leader that day and shall be like he who has witnessed the Messenger of Allah (s), the commander of the faithful (a) and Hasan (a) and Husain (a). And also he is like those under the banner of Imam Al-Mahdi (a) in his tent among the generous and noble ones.

   حضرت نے فرمایا جو بھی اس عمل کو انجام دے یہ اس شخص کی طرح ہے کہ اس روز حضرت رسول خدا کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا ہو اور حضرت کے ساتھ امیرالمومنین کی ولایت کی بیعت کی ہو اس کا مقام اور درجہ بہشت میں سچ بولنے والوں کے ساتھ ہے یہ اس شخص کی طرح ہوگا کہ جس نے اس دن حضرت کی ولایت کی تصدیق کی ہو اور اس شخص کی طرح ہے کہ جس نے پیغمبر خدا امیرالمومنین علی امام حسن اور امام حسین کے رکاب میں شھادت پائی ہو اور یہ اس شخص کی طرح ہے کہ جو حضرت قائم کے علم کے نیچے ہو اور حضرت کے خیمہ کے نیچے حضرت کے برگزیدہ اصحاب جو حضرت کے ساتھ ہیں یہ بھی ان کی طرح ہوگا۔
