Grandeur (Makki)

بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem

In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

اِنَّآ اَنْزَلْنٰهُ فِيْ لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ

Innaa anzalnaahu fee lailatil qadr.

Surely We revealed it on the grand night.

بے شک ہم نے اسے شب قدر میں نازل کیا ہے۔

وَمَآ اَدْرٰكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ

Wa maa adraaka ma lailatul qadr.

And what will make you comprehend what the grand night is?

اور آپ کیا جانیں یہ شب قدر کیا چیز ہے۔

لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ اَلْفِ شَهْرٍ

Lailatul qadri khairum min alfee shahr.

The grand night is better than a thousand months.

شب قدر ہزار مہینوں سے بہتر ہے۔

تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلٰۗئِكَةُ وَالرُّوْحُ فِيْهَا بِاِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّنْ كُلِّ اَمْرٍ

Tanaz zalul malaa-ikatu war roohu feeha bi izni-rab bihim min kulli amr.

The angels and the Spirit descend in it by the permission of their Lord for every affair

اس میں ملائکہ اور روح القدس اذنِ خدا کے ساتھ تمام امور کو لے کر نازل ہوتے ہیں۔

سَلٰمٌ هِيَ حَتّٰى مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ

Salaamun hiya hattaa mat la’il fajr.

Peace! it is till the break of the morning.

یہ رات طلوع فجر تک سلامتی ہی سلامتی ہے۔

Sadaqallahul aliyyul azeem

Almighty God the most high speaks the truth.

اللہ بزرگ و برتر نے سچ فرمایا ہے۔
