Allahumma balligh Maulana
اَللّٰهُمَّ بَلِّغْ مَوْلَانَا
A supplication for Imam al-Mahdi (ajtf), recited after the obligatory namaz — the page's own heading says so, and describes it as a dua to meet Imam-e-Zamana (a).
It begins by sending blessings to him from every direction of the earth at once — east and west, plain and mountain, land and sea — and in a measure it borrows from the tradition: the weight of Allah's Throne, and the ink of His words.
Its central act is the renewal of allegiance: that the covenant and pledge on the reciter's neck be renewed this morning and every day he lives, and that he be counted among the Imam's helpers and protectors, those who hasten to his command. Then comes the request the dua is best known for — that if death should come first, the reciter be raised from the grave in his shroud, sword unsheathed, answering the call.
It closes asking that the Imam be made a refuge for the oppressed and a helper for the one who has no helper but Allah, and that his reappearance be hastened: they consider it distant, and we consider it near.
Lines marked auto had their transliteration produced from the vowelled Arabic rather than typed by hand, and the Centre’s alim has not read them yet. The Arabic is the text: where the two differ, follow the Arabic.
Dua after obligatory Namaz to meet Imam-e-Zamana (a).
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ بَلِّغْ مَوْلَانَا صَاحِبَ الزَّمَانِ، اَيْنَمَا كَانَ وَحَيْثُمَا كَانَ، مِنْ مَشَارِقِ الْاَرْضِ وَمَغَارِبِهَا، سَهْلِهَا وَجَبَلِهَا، عَنِّيْ وَعَنْ وَالِدَيَّ، وَعَنْ وُلْدِيْ وَاِخْوَانِي التَّحِيَّةَ وَالسَّلَامَ عَدَدَ خَلْقِ اللهِ، وَزِنَةَ عَرْشِ اللهِ، وَمَا اَحْصَاهُ كِتَابُهُ، وَاَحَاطَ عِلْمُهُ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اُجَدِّدُ لَهُ فِيْ صَبِيْحَةِ هٰذَا الْيَوْمِ، وَمَا عِشْتُ فِيْهِ مِنْ اَيَّامِ حَيَاتِيْ، عَهْدًا وَعَقْدًا وَبَيْعَةً لَهُ فِيْ عُنُقِيْ، لَا اَحُوْلُ عَنْهَا وَلَا اَزُوْلُ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِيْ مِنْ اَنْصَارِهِ وَنُصَّارِهِ الذَّآبِّيْنَ عَنْهُ، وَالْمُمْتَثِلِيْنَ لِاَوَامِرِهِ وَنَوَاهِيْهِ فِيْ اَيَّامِهِ، وَالْمُسْتَشْهَدِيْنَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ فَاِنْ حَالَ بَيْنِيْ وَبَيْنَهُ الْمَوْتُ، اَلَّذِيْ جَعَلْتَهُ عَلٰى عِبَادِكَ حَتْمًا مَقْضِيًّا فَاَخْرِجْنِيْ مِنْ قَبْرِيْ مُؤْتَزِرًا كَفَنِيْ، شَاهِرًا سَيْفِيْ، مُجَرِّدًا قَنَاتِيْ، مُلَبِّيًا دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِيْ فِي الْحَاضِرِ وَالْبَادِيْ۔
Allaahumma balligh mawlaanaa saahiba az-zamaani, aynamaa kaana wahaythumaa kaana, min mashaariqi al-ardi wamaghaaribihaa, sahlihaa wajabalihaa, 'annee wa'an waalidayya, wa'an wuldee waikhwaanee at-tahiyyata was-salaama 'adada khalqi allaahi, wazinata 'arshi allaahi, wamaa ahsaahu kitaabuhu, waahaata 'ilmuhu.
Allaahumma innee ujaddidu lahu fee sabeehati haazaa al-yawmi, wamaa 'ishtu feehi min ayyaami hayaatee, 'ahdan wa'aqdan wabay'atan lahu fee 'unuqee, laa ahoolu 'anhaa walaa azoolu.
Allaahumma aj'alnee min ansaarihi wanussaarihi az-zaabbeena 'anhu, wal-mumtathileena liawaamirihi wanawaaheehi fee ayyaamihi, wal-mustashhadeena bayna yadayhi.
Allaahumma fain haala baynee wabaynahu al-mawtu, allazee ja'altahu 'alaa 'ibaadika hatman maqdiyyan faakhrijnee min qabree mu'taziran kafanee, shaahiran sayfee, mujarridan qanaatee, mulabbiyan da'wata ad-daa'ee fee al-haadiri wal-baadee. auto
O Allah send our master the leader, the guide, the guided, the up riser with Your command. Blessings of Allah be on him and his pure forefathers from all the believing men and believing women. In the East of the Earth and its West, in its plains and its mountains, its lands and its seas, from me and my parents. Blessings, which are the weight of Allah's throne and ink of His words, and whatever His knowledge enumerates and His book encompasses. O Allah renew for him my covenant, pledge and allegiance on my neck in the morning of this day of mine and whatever days (of my life) I live. I shall never turn away from it nor let it ever vanish. O Allah appoint me among his helpers, aides, and his protectors. Those who hasten to fulfill his commands and obey his orders. Those who are his supporters and compete with each other to (fulfill) his intention and seek martyrdom in his presence. O Allah! If death occurs between me and him (before the reappearance) (death) which you have made obligatory and decreed for your servants, then raise me from my grave, wrapped in my shroud, my sword unsheathed, my spear bared, answering the call of the caller in cities as well as deserts. O Allah! Show me the rightly guided face of (Imam a.s), the praiseworthy moon (referring to the face of Imam a.s) and enlighten my vision by looking at him. And hasten his reappearance, make his arrival smooth, vast his path, make me tread on his way and implement his authority and strengthen his back.
اے اللہ! ہمارے مولا، صاحبِ زمانہؑ تک جہاں کہیں بھی ہوں اور جس حال میں بھی ہوں زمین کے مشرقوں اور مغربوں میں، میدانوں میں ہوں یا پہاڑوں میں، میری طرف سے، اور میرے والدین کی طرف سے، اور میری اولاد اور میرے بھائیوں کی طرف سے سلام اور تحیت پہنچا دے۔ اتنا سلام (پہنچا دے) جتنی اللہ کی مخلوق ہے، اور جتنا اللہ کے عرش کا وزن ہے، اور جتنا اس کی کتاب نے شمار کیا ہے، اور جتنا اس کے علم نے احاطہ کیا ہے۔ اے اللہ! میں آج کے دن کی صبح اور جب تک اپنی زندگی کے دنوں میں زندہ رہوں، ان کے لیے اپنے عہد، اپنے پیمان اور اپنی بیعت کی تجدید کرتا ہوں جو میری گردن میں ہے، نہ میں اس سے پھرنے والا ہوں اور نہ اس سے ہٹنے والا۔ اے اللہ! مجھے ان کے انصار اور مددگاروں میں سے بنا، ان کا دفاع کرنے والوں میں سے بنا، اور ان کے احکام اور ان کی منع کی ہوئی باتوں پر عمل کرنے والوں میں سے بنا ان کے زمانے میں، اور ان کے سامنے شہادت پانے والوں میں سے بنا۔ اے اللہ! اگر میرے اور ان کے درمیان موت حائل ہو جائے وہ موت جسے تو نے اپنے بندوں پر حتمی اور مقدر قرار دیا ہے تو مجھے میری قبر سے اس حال میں نکالنا کہ میں اپنا کفن باندھے ہوئے ہوں، اپنی تلوار نکالے ہوئے ہوں، اپنا نیزہ سنبھالے ہوئے ہوں، اور پکارنے والے کی پکار پر لبیک کہتا ہوا شہر میں بھی اور دیہات میں بھی۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اَرِنِيْ الطَّلْعَةَ الرَّشِيْدَةَ وَالْغُرَّةَ الْحَمِيْدَةَ، وَاكْحُلْ بَصَرِيْ بِنَظْرَةٍ مِنِّيْ اِلَيْهِ، وَعَجِّلْ فَرَجَهُ، وَسَهِّلْ مَخْرَجَهُ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ اشْدُدْ اَزْرَهُ، وَقَوِّ ظَهْرَهُ، وَطَوِّلْ عُمْرَهُ، وَاعْمُرِ اللّٰهُمَّ بِهِ بِلَادَكَ، وَاَحْيِ بِهِ عِبَادَكَ، فَاِنَّكَ قُلْتَ وَقَوْلُكَ الْحَقُّ (ظَهَرَ الْفَسَادُ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ اَيْدِي النَّاسِ)۔ فَاَظْهِرِ اللّٰهُمَّ لَنَا وَلِيَّكَ وَابْنَ بِنْتِ نَبِيِّكَ، اَلْمُسَمَّى بِاسْمِ رَسُوْلِكَ صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَاَلِهِ، حَتّٰى لَايَظْفَرَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنَ الْبَاطِلِ اِلَّا مَزَّقَهُ، وَيُحِقَّ اللهُ الْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَاتِهِ وَيُحَقِّقَهُ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ اكْشِفْ هٰذِهِ الْغُمَّةَ عَنْ هٰذِهِ الْاُمَّةِ بِظُهُوْرِهِ، اِنَّهُمْ يَرَوْنَهُ بَعِيْدًا، وَنَرَاهُ قَرِيْبًا، وَصَلَّى اللهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَاٰلِهِ۔
Allaahumma arinee at-tal'ata ar-rasheedata wal-ghurrata al-hameedata, wakhul basaree binazratin minnee ilayhi, wa'ajjil farajahu, wasahhil makhrajahu.
Allaahumma ashdud azrahu, waqawwi zahrahu, watawwil 'umrahu, wa'muri allaahumma bihi bilaadaka, waahyi bihi 'ibaadaka, fainnaka qulta waqawluka al-haqqu (zahara al-fasaadu fee al-barri wal-bahri bimaa kasabat aydee an-naasi).
Faazhiri allaahumma lanaa waliyyaka wabna binti nabiyyika, al-musammaa bismi rasoolika salawaatuka 'alayhi waalihi, hattaa laayazfara bishay'in mina al-baatili illaa mazzaqahu, wayuhiqqa allaahu al-haqqa bikalimaatihi wayuhaqqiqahu.
Allaahumma akshif haazihi al-ghummata 'an haazihi al-ummati bizuhoorihi, innahum yarawnahu ba'eedan, wanaraahu qareeban, wasallaa allaahu 'alaa muhammadin waaalihi. auto
O Allah inhabit Your cities through him and give life to Your servants due to him for surely You have said and Your word is truth, "Corruption will become rampant in land and on sea because of the evil which men's hand have earned" Then O Allah manifest for us Your slave and the son of Your Prophet's daughter, whose name is the same as that of Your messenger, so that nothing from falsehood is victorious except that he tears them (falsehood) to pieces, establishes the truth and the truth confirms him. And O Allah! Appoint him as a refuge for Your oppressed servants and a helper for the one who does not find any helper for himself except You and the re-newer of all the laws of Your book which have been tampered with and the re-builder of the science of Your religion and the traditions of Your Prophet (peace of Allah be on him and his progeny) and O Allah! make him among those whom you have protected from the evils of the adversaries. O Allah! and provide joy to Your Prophet Mohammed (peace be on him and his progeny) by his vision and (the vision of) the one who follows him on his call and have mercy on our poverty after his arrival. O Allah remove his sorrow (of occultation) from this nation with his presence and hasten for us his reappearance. They (the disbelievers) consider it to be distant while we consider it to be near. For the sake of Your mercy, O the most Merciful of all Mercifuls.
اے اللہ! مجھے وہ ہدایت یافتہ جلوہ اور وہ قابلِ حمد پیشانی (نورانی چہرہ) دکھا، اور میری آنکھوں کو اس کی ایک نظر سے روشن فرما، اور اس کے ظہور میں جلدی فرما، اور اس کے ظہور کی راہ کو آسان کر دے۔ اے اللہ! اس کی کمر مضبوط کر، اس کی پشت کو قوت عطا فرما، اس کی عمر دراز فرما، اور اے اللہ! اس کے ذریعے اپنے شہروں کو آباد کر، اور اس کے ذریعے اپنے بندوں کو زندہ (بیدار) کر دے۔ کیونکہ تو نے فرمایا ہے اور تیرا فرمان حق ہے: خشکی اور تری میں فساد ظاہر ہو چکا ہے لوگوں کے ہاتھوں کی کمائی کے سبب۔ پس اے اللہ! ہمارے لیے اپنے ولی کو ظاہر فرما، جو تیرے نبیؐ کی بیٹی کا فرزند ہے، جس کا نام تیرے رسولؐ کے نام پر رکھا گیا ہے (جن پر اور جن کی آل پر درود ہو)، یہاں تک کہ وہ باطل میں سے کسی چیز کو پائے تو اسے چاک کر دے، اور اللہ اپنے کلمات کے ذریعے حق کو قائم کرے اور اسے ثابت و محقق کر دے۔ اے اللہ! اس امت سے یہ غم اور گھٹن اس کے ظہور کے ذریعے دور فرما، یہ لوگ اسے دور سمجھتے ہیں اور ہم اسے قریب دیکھتے ہیں۔ اور اللہ کی رحمت و درود ہو محمدؐ اور ان کی آلؑ پر۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
