La hawla wala quwwata
لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّۃَ
Dua of Imam-e-Asr (a) for Impelling difficulties.
یَافَتَّاحُ۔
Ya fattaho.
O the Originator.
اے کھولنے والے۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّۃَ اِلَّا بِاللہِ تَوَکَّلْتُ عَلَی الْحَیِّ الَّذِیْ لَا یَمُوْتُ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلہِ الَّذِیْ لَمْ یَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَّلَمْ یَکُنْ لَّہٗ شَرِیْکٌ فِی الْمُلْکِ وَلَمْ یَکُنْ لَّہٗ وَلِیٌّ مِّنَ الذُّلِّ وَکَبِّرْہُ تَکْبِیْرًا۔
Laa hawla walaa quwwata illaa billaa-he tawakkal-to a’lal hayyil lazee laa yamoo-to wal hamdo lillaa-hil lazee lam yatta-khiz wala-dan wa lam yakun lahu sharee-kun fil mulke wa lam yakun lahu waliyyun menaz zulle wa kabbir-ho takbee-ran.
There is no ability and strength except Allah the Most High and Magnificent, I rely on He who is alive and dies not, thanks be to Almighty Allah who doesn't possess a companion nor a descendant and doesn't possess any deity in his authority, and He does not possess a distressed friend, He who is the most greatest.
کوئی طاقت و قوت نہیں مگر اللہ کی، میرا بھروسہ ہے ایسے زندہ پر جسے موت نہیں، اور حمد ہے اس خدا کی جس کا کوئی بیٹا نہیں ہے، اور اس کے ملک میں کوئی اس کا شریک نہیں ہے، اور نہ کوئی اس کا مدد گار ہے، وہی سب سے بزرگ و برتر ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ وَصَلَّی اللہُ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِہٖ وَاُفَوِّضُ اَمْرِیْ اِلَی اللہِ اِنَّ اللہَ بَصِیْرٌۢ بِالْعِبَادِ فَوَقَاہُ اللہُ سَیِّئَاتِ مَا مَكَرُوْا لَٓا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ اِنِّیْ كُنْتُ مِنَ الظّٰلِمِیْنَ فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَہٗ وَنَجَّیْنَاہُ مِنَ الْغَمِّ وَكَذٰلِكَ نُنْجِی الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ حَسْبُنَا اللہُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِیْلُ فَانْقَلَبُوْا بِنِعْمَۃٍ مِّنَ اللہِ وَفَضْلٍ لَّمْ یَمْسَسْھُمْ سُوْٓءٌ مَّاشَآءَاللہُ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّۃَ اِلَّا بِاللہِ مَاشآءَاللہُ لَا مَاشَآءَالنَّاسُ مَاشَآءَاللہُ وَاِنْ كَرِہَ النَّاسُ۔
Bismillaahe wa sallal-laaho a’laa mohammadiw wa aale-hi wa o-fawwe-zo amree ilal-laahe innal-laaha basee-rum bil-e’baade fa-waqaa-hul-laaho sayye-aate maa makaroo laa ilaa-ha illaa anta subhaa-naka innee kunto minaz zaale-meena fasta-jabnaa lahu wa najjaiy-naaho minal ghamme wa kazaa-leka noon-jil momeneen hasbo-nal laaho wa ne’mal wakeelo fan-qala-boo be-ne’matin minal laahe wa fazlin lam yam-sas-hum soo-un maasha-allaaho laa hawla walaa quwwata illaa billaahe maashaa-allaaho laa maashaa-annaa-so maashaa-allaaho wa in kare-hannaa-so.
In the name of Allah, blessing upon Muhammad and his household, I deputize all my affairs to Allah, verily Allah sees all His servants, Allah safeguards him from all their plots. There is no deity except you. Glory be to You, verily I am among the oppressors. We answered his call and rescued him from grief, that is how we rescued the believers, Allah suffice us and the best protector, inverted the favors from Allah and preference that was not touched by evils, to the wish of Allah, there is no strength and vigor except from Allah, to the wish of Allah and not to the wish of mankind. to the wish of Allah even though mankind rejected it.
حَسْبِيَ الرَّبُّ مِنَ الْمَرْبُوْبِیْنَ حَسْبِيَ الْخَالِقُ مِنَ الْمَخْلُوْقِیْنَ حَسْبِيَ الرَّازِقُ مِنَ الْمَرْزُوْقِیْنَ حَسْبِيَ اللہُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِیْنَ حَسْبِيْ مَنْ ھُوَ حَسْبِیْ، حَسْبِیْ مَنْ لَّمْ یَزَلْ حَسْبِیْ، حَسْبِیْ مَنْ كَانَ مُذْ كُنْتُ لَمْ یَزَلْ حَسْبِیْ، حَسْبِیَ اللہُ لَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا ھُوَ عَلَیْہِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَھُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِیْمِ۔
Hasbe-yar rabbo minal marboo-beena hasbe-yal khaale-qo minal makhloo-qeena hasbe-yar raaze-qo minal marzoo-qeena hasbe-yal laaho rabbul aa’lamee-na hasbee man howa hasbee, hasbee man lam yazal hasbee, hasbee man kaana muz kunto lam yazal hasbee, hasbe-yal laaho laa ilaa-ha illaa howa a’laiy-he tawakkal-to wa howa rabbul a’rshil a’zeeme.
God suffice me from other gods, Creator suffice me from other creatures, the Provider suffice me from the prosperous ones, Allah suffice me, the Lord of the worlds, suffice me He who suffices me, suffice me He who did not seize from sufficing me, suffice me He who has been sufficing me, Allah whom there is no god except him suffice me, unto Him I kept my trust, and he is the Lord of the Mighty throne.
