Namaz for Pardon

نماز عفو

1. This prayer consists of 2 units in each of which Surah Fateha and Surah Qadr are recited once each. After the recitation of these Surahs, RABBE ‘AFWO-KA ‘AFWO-KA is repeated 15 times. The same zikr is repeated yet 10 times in the ruku after zikr’e ruku, 10 times after standing from ruku, 10 times in 1st sajdah after zikr’e sajdah, 10 times between 2 sajdah, 10 times in the 2nd sajdah after zikr’e sajdah and 10 times after getting up from the 2nd sajdah.

   یہ ۲ رکعتی نماز ہے کہ ہر رکعت میں سورۂ فاتحہ و سورۂ قدر کے بعد ۱۵ مرتبہ رب عفوک عفوک کہے، پھر رکوع میں جا کر ذکر رکوع کے بعد ۱۰ مرتبہ رب عفوک عفوک کہے، رکوع سے سر اٹھا کر بھی ۱۰ مرتبہ یہی کہے، سجدے میں جاکر ذکر سجدہ کے بعد ۱۰ مرتبہ، سجدے سے سر اٹھانے کے بعد ۱۰ مرتبہ، دوسرے سجدے میں ذکر سجدہ کے بعد ۱۰ مرتبہ اور سجدے سے سر اٹھانے کے بعد ۱۰ مرتبہ یہی کہے۔

2. رَبِّ عَفْوُكَ عَفْوُكَ۔

   RABBI 'AFWUKA 'AFWUK.

   O Lord! Forgive me forgive me.

   اے پالنے والے! بخش دے بخش دے۔

3. It is worth mentioning that the prayer for forgiveness is offered as same as this prayer for pardon, except that its supplicatory prayer should be as follows. This prayer is also useful for beseeching for expansive sustenance, Allah willing…

   مؤلف کہتے ہیں نماز استغفار بھی مثل نماز عفو کے ہے اتنا فرق ہے کہ رب عفوک کی بجائے استغفراللہ کہا جائے گا یہ نماز وسعت رزق کے لئے بھی مفید ہے انشاء اللہ۔۔۔

4. اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ۔

   ASTAGHFIRU ALLAAH.

   I ask forgiveness of Allah.

   خدا سے بخشش چاہتا ہوں۔
