Before Burial

تدفین سے پہلے

1. سُبْحَانَ اللہِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلہِ وَلَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللہُ وَاللہُ اَكْبَرُ۔

   SUBHAANALLAHE WAL HAMDO LILLAAHE WA-LA ILAAHA ILLALLAAHO WALLAAHO AKBAR.

   All glory be to Allah; all praise be to Allah; there is no god save Allah; Allah is the Greatest.

   پاک ہے اﷲاور حمد اﷲہی کے لئے ہے اور اﷲکے سوا کوئی معبودنہیں اور اﷲبزرگ تر ہے۔

2. اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔

   ALLAHUMMA SWALLE ALAA MUHAMMADIW WA AALE MUHAMMADIN

   Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.

   اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔

3. اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللہَ رَبِّیْ وَ اَتُوْبُ اِلَیْہِ۔

   ASTAGHFERULLAH RABBI WA ATOOBO ILAIHE.

   I seek the forgiveness of Allah, my Lord, and I repent before Him.

   معافی چاہتا ہوں اللہ سے جو میرا رب ہے اور اسکے حضور توبہ کرتا ہو۔

4. اَمَّنْ يُّجِيْبُ الْمُضْطَرَّ اِذَا دَعَاهٗ وَيَكْشِفُ السُّوْۗءَ۔

   AMMANY-YUJEEBUL MUD TARRA IZAA DA’AAHU WA YAKSHIFUS SOOO’A.

   Or, Who answers the distressed one when he calls upon Him and removes the evil.

   بھلا وہ کون ہے؟ جو مجبور کی فریاد کو سنتا ہے جب وہ اس کو آواز دیتا ہے۔

5. لَّآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّآ اَنْتَ سُبْحٰنَكَ اِنِّيْ كُنْتُ مِنَ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ۔

   LAA ILAAHA ILLAA ANTA SUBHAANAKA INNI KUNTO MINAZ ZAALIMEEN.

   There is no god but Thou, glory be to Thee; surely I am of those who make themselves to suffer loss.

   پروردگار! تیرے علاوہ کوئی خدا نہیں ہے تو پاک و بے نیاز ہے اور میں اپنے نفس پر ظلم کرنے والوں میں سے تھا۔
