About this manqabat

This manqabat praises Sayyida Masooma (a) of Qom, sister of Imam Raza (a). It calls on her by the name Fatima and as pure, learned, devout and an intercessor. It names her daughter of the Lion of God, Imam Ali (a), and the Zainab of Imam Raza (a). It tells of the House of Light still giving light to sun and moon, of Mary coming to kiss her veil, and of Mashhad's blessing on those who name a daughter Masooma. The poet calls himself nothing but her servant. Written and recited by Mir Hasan Mir; published with his permission.
