Surah Inshiqaaq (84, 25 ayat)
سورۂ انشقاق
- Rending Asunder (Makki)
The Holy Prophet (s) has said that the one who recites this Surah will not get his book of deeds from his back on the Day of Reckoning. If written and worn by a pregnant woman, the delivery of the baby becomes easy. However, it is important that after delivery, this Surah should be kept away from her. If this Surah is tied on any animal (eg. camels or horses) then it keeps them safe.
رسول اکرمؐ نے فرمایا:جو شخص سورۂ انشقاق کی تلاوت کرے خداوند عالم اس کے نامۂ اعمال کوپس پشت نہیں ڈالے گا۔ (مجمع البیان،ج۱۰ ص۳۰۱)
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
BISMI ALLAAHI AR-RAHMAANI AR-RAHEEM
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اِذَا السَّمَآءُ انْشَقَّتْ
IZAA AS-SAMAA'U INSHAQQAT
When the heaven bursts asunder
جب آسمان پھٹ جائے گا۔
وَاَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ
WA-AZINAT LIRABBIHAA WAHUQQAT
And obeys its Lord and it must.
اور اپنے پروردگار کا حکم بجا لائے گا اور یہ ضروری بھی ہے۔
وَاِذَا الْاَرْضُ مُدَّتْ
WA-IZAA AL-ARDU MUDDAT
And when the earth is stretched
اور جب زمین برابر کر کے پھیلا دی جائے گی۔
وَاَلْقَتْ مَا فِيْهَا وَتَخَلَّتْ
WAL-QAT MAA FEEHAA WATAKHALLAT
And casts forth what is in it and becomes empty
اور وہ اپنے ذخیرے پھینک کر خالی ہو جائے گی۔
وَاَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ
WA-AZINAT LIRABBIHAA WAHUQQAT
And obeys its Lord and it must.
اور اپنے پروردگار کا حکم بجا لائے گی اور یہ ضروری بھی ہے۔
يٰٓاَيُّهَا الْاِنْسَانُ اِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ اِلٰى رَبِّكَ كَدْحًا فَمُلٰقِيْهِ
YAA AYYUHAA AL-INSAANU INNAKA KAADIHUN ILAA RABBIKA KADHAN FAMULAAQEEH
O man! surely you must strive (to attain) to your Lord, a hard striving until you meet Him.
اے انسان تو اپنے پروردگار کی طرف جانے کی کوشش کر رہا ہے تو ایک دن اس کا سامنا کرے گا۔
فَاَمَّا مَنْ اُوْتِيَ كِتٰبَهٗ بِيَمِيْنِهٖ
FA-AMMAA MAN OOTIYA KITAABAHOO BIYAMEENIH
Then as to him who is given his book in his right hand
پھر جس کو نامہ اعمال داہنے ہاتھ میں دیا جائے گا۔
فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَّسِيْرًا
FASAWFA YUHAASABU HISAABAN YASEERAA
He shall be reckoned with by an easy reckoning
اس کا حساب آسان ہو گا۔
وَيَنْقَلِبُ اِلٰٓى اَهْلِهٖ مَسْرُوْرًا
WAYANQALIBU ILAA AHLIHEE MASROORAA
And he shall go back to his people joyful.
اور وہ اپنے اہل کی طرف خوشی خوشی واپس آئے گا۔
وَاَمَّا مَنْ اُوْتِيَ كِتٰبَهٗ وَرَآءَ ظَهْرِهٖ
WA-AMMAA MAN OOTIYA KITAABAHOO WARAA'A ZAHRIH
And as to him who is given his book behind his back
اور جس کو نامہ اعمال پشت کی طرف سے دیا جائے گا۔
فَسَوْفَ يَدْعُوْ ثُبُوْرًا
FASAWFA YAD'OO THUBOORAA
He shall call for perdition
وہ عنقریب موت کی دعا کرے گا۔
وَيَصْلٰى سَعِيْرًا
WAYASLAA SA'EERAA
And enter into burning fire.
اور جہنّم کی آگ میں داخل ہو گا۔
اِنَّهٗ كَانَ فِيْٓ اَهْلِهٖ مَسْرُوْرًا
INNAHOO KAANA FEE AHLIHEE MASROORAA
Surely he was (erstwhile) joyful among his followers.
یہ پہلے اپنے اہل و عیال میں بہت خوش تھا۔
اِنَّهٗ ظَنَّ اَن لَّنْ يَّحُوْرَ
INNAHOO ZANNA AN LAN YAHOOR
Surely he thought that he would never return.
اور اس کا خیال تھا کہ پلٹ کر خدا کی طرف نہیں جائے گا۔
بَلٰٓى اِنَّ رَبَّهٗ كَانَ بِهٖ بَصِيْرًا
BALAA INNA RABBAHOO KAANA BIHEE BASEERAA
Yea! surely his Lord does ever see him.
ہاں اس کا پروردگار خوب دیکھنے والا ہے۔
فَلَآ اُقْسِمُ بِالشَّفَقِ
FALAA UQSIMU BISH-SHAFAQ
But nay! I swear by the sunset redness
میں شفق (مغرب کے وقت) کی قسم کھا کر کہتا ہوں۔
وَالَّيْلِ وَمَا وَسَقَ
WALLAYLI WAMAA WASAQ
And the night and that which it drives on
اور رات اور جن چیزوں کو وہ ڈھانک لیتی ہے ان کی قسم۔
وَالْقَمَرِ اِذَا اتَّسَقَ
WAL-QAMARI IZAA ITTASAQ
And the moon when it grows full
اور چاند کی قسم جب وہ پورا ہو جائے۔
لَتَرْكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَنْ طَبَقٍ
LATARKABUNNA TABAQAN 'AN TABAQ
That you shall most certainly enter one state after another.
کہ تم ایک مصیبت کے بعد دوسری مصیبت میں مبتلا ہو گے۔
فَمَا لَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ
FAMAA LAHUM LAA YU'MINOON
But what is the matter with them that they do not believe
پھر انہیں کیا ہو گیا ہے کہ ایمان نہیں لے آتے ہیں۔
وَاِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقُرْاٰنُ لَا يَسْجُدُوْنَ۩
WA-IZAA QURI'A 'ALAYHIMU AL-QUR'AANU LAA YASJUDOON
And when the Quran is recited to them they do not make obeisance?
اور جب ان کے سامنے قرآن پڑھا جاتا ہے تو سجدہ نہیں کرتے ہیں۔
بَلِ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا يُكَذِّبُوْنَ
BALI ALLAZEENA KAFAROO YUKAZZIBOON
Nay! those who disbelieve give the lie to the truth.
بلکہ کفّار تو تکذیب بھی کرتے ہیں۔
وَاللهُ اَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُوْعُوْنَ
WALLAAHU A'LAMU BIMAA YOO'OON
And Allah knows best what they hide
اور اللہ خوب جانتا ہے جو یہ اپنے دلوں میں چھپائے ہوئے ہیں۔
فَبَشِّرْهُمْ بِعَذَابٍ اَلِيْمٍ
FABASHSHIRHUM BI'AZAABIN ALEEM
So announce to them a painful punishment.
اب آپ انہیں درد ناک عذاب کی بشارت دے دیں۔
اِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَهُمْ اَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُوْنٍ
ILLAA ALLAZEENA AAMANOO WA'AMILOO AS-SAALIHAATI LAHUM AJRUN GHAYRU MAMNOON
Except those who believe and do good; for them is a reward that shall never be cut off.
علاوہ صاحبانِ ایمان و عمل صالح کے کہ ان کے لئے نہ ختم ہونے والا اجر و ثواب ہے۔
صَدَقَ اللهُ الْعَلِیُّ الْعَظِیْمُ۔
SADAQA ALLAAHU AL-'ALIYYU AL-'AZEEM.
Almighty God the most high speaks the truth.
اللہ بزرگ و برتر نے سچ فرمایا ہے۔
