دعا حفظ قرآن
A supplication for help in holding the Qur'an in memory. The reciter asks Allah for the mercy that keeps them from disobedience, for relief from difficulties beyond their bearing, and for deeds that please Him. They ask that the memorising of His Book be made binding upon them, since He has already granted them its knowledge, and that they recite it in the way that gains His pleasure, with their eyes and heart lit, their breast expanded and their tongue flowing with it. It closes by asking for strength to use the body in its service and for Allah's help, as the reciter says there is no helper and no lord besides Him.
Lines marked auto had their transliteration produced from the vowelled Arabic rather than typed by hand, and the Centre’s alim has not read them yet. The Arabic is the text: where the two differ, follow the Arabic.
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ ارْحَمْنِیْ بَتَرْكِ مَعَاصِیْكَ اَبَدًا مَا اَبْقَیْتَنِیْ فَارْحَمْنِیْ مِنْ تَكَلُّفِ مَا لَا یُعْنِیْنِیْ وَارْزُقْنِیْ حُسْنَ الْمَنْظَرِ فِیْمَا یُرْضِیْكَ عَنِّیْ وَالْزِمْ قَلْبِیْ حِفْظَ كِتَابِكَ كَمَا عَلَّمْتَنِیْ وَارْزُقْنِیْ اَنْ اَتْلُوَهٗ عَلَی النَّحْوِ الَّذِیْ یُرْضِیْكَ عَنِّیْ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ نَوِّرْ بِکِتَابِکَ بَصَرِیْ وَاشْرَحْ بِهٖ صَدْرِیْ وَفَرِّجْ بِهٖ قَلْبِیْ وَاَطْلِقْ بِهٖ لِسَانِیْ وَاسْتَعْمِلْ بِهٖ بَدَنِیْ وَقَوِّنِیْ عَلٰی ذٰلِكَ وَاَعِنِّیْ عَلَیْهِ اِنَّهٗ لَا مُعِیْنَ عَلَیْهِ اِلَّا اَنْتَ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ۔
Allaahumma arhamnee batarki ma'aaseeka abadan maa abqaytanee farhamnee min takallufi maa laa yu'neenee warzuqnee husna al-manzari feemaa yurdeeka 'annee wal-zim qalbee hifza kitaabika kamaa 'allamtanee warzuqnee an atluwahoo 'alaa an-nahwi allazee yurdeeka 'annee.
Allaahumma nawwir bikitaabika basaree washrah bihee sadree wafarrij bihee qalbee waatliq bihee lisaanee wasta'mil bihee badanee waqawwinee 'alaa zaalika waa'innee 'alayhi innahoo laa mu'eena 'alayhi illaa anta laa allaaha illaa anta. auto
O Allah bestow upon me Your mercy so that I am away from Your disobedience and bestow the grace that I am not involved in unbearable difficulties, and grant me the goodness for deeds which makes You happy with me, and make the memorizing of Your book (the Holy Quran) obligatory on me as You have granted me it's knowledge, and bestow Your grace so that I recite it in the way Your pleasure is gained. O Allah illuminate my eyes, expand my breast, illuminate my heart and my tongue flows with the Holy Quran. Give me the strength so that I use my body for the Holy Quran, grant me Your help because there is no helper other than You and there is no lord other than You.
بار الہا! مجھ پر رحم فرما کہ جب تک زندہ ہوں ہمیشہ کے لئے تیری نافرمانی چھوڑ دوں، اور یہ رحم کر کہ نا قابل برداشت تکلیف میں مبتلا نہ ہوں، مجھے وہ حسن عمل عطا فرما کہ جس کے بعد مجھ سے تو راضی ہو جائے اور میرے دل کے لئے اپنی کتاب (قرآن پاک) کا حفظ فرض کر دے۔ جیسا کہ تونے مجھے اس کا علم دیا اور مجھے اس طرح تلاوت کی توفیق دے جس طرح تو خوشنود ہو۔ خدا وندا! قرآن سے میری آمکھوں کو نورانی، میرے سینے کو کشادہ، میرے دل کو مسرور، زبان کو رواں کر دے، میرا بدن اسی کے کام آئے، اس کے لئے مجھے قوت عطا ہو، اس سلسلے میں مجھے امداد مرحمت فرما، کیونکہ اس کے لئے تیرے علاوہ کوئی مدد گار نہیں، تیرے سوا کوئی معبعد نہیں۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
