After reciting Qur’an
تلاوت کے بعد
A supplication said after reciting. The reciter sends blessings on Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and asks for the hastening of their relief, then states that they have recited what Allah decreed from His Book, sent down to His truthful Prophet, and gives all praise to Him. They ask to be among those who uphold what it makes obligatory, keep away from what it forbids, and believe in both its clear and its ambiguous verses. It ends by asking that the Qur'an be a companion in the grave and at the rising, and that the reciter be raised a rank for every verse recited.
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَجِّلْ فَرَجَهُمْ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّیْ قَدْ قَرَاَتُ مَا قَضَیْتَ مِنْ كِتَابِكَ الَّذِیْ اَنْزَلْتَهٗ عَلٰی نَبِیِّكَ الصَّدِقِ صَلَّ اللهُ عَلَیْهِ وَ آلِهٖ، فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ رَبَّنَا۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِیْ مِمَّنْ یُحِلُّ حَلَالَهٗ وَ یُحَرِّمُ حَرَامَهٗ وَیُؤْمِنُ بِمُحْكَمِهٖ وَمُتَشَابِهِهٖ وَاجْعَلْهُ اُنْسًا فِیْ قَبْرِیْ وَاُنْسًا فِیْ حَشْرِیْ وَاجْعَلْنِیْ مِمَّنْ تُرْقَیْهِ بِكُلِّ آیَۃٍ قَرَاَهَا دَرَجَۃً فِیْ اَعْلٰی عِلِّیِّیْنَ آمِیْنَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِیْنَ۔
Allaahumma salle a’laa mohammadiw wa aale mohammadin wa a’j-jil faraja-hum.
Allaahumma innee qad qara-ato maa qa-zaiy-ta min ketaabe-kal lazee an-zal-tahu a’laa nabiyye-kas sadeqe sallal-laaho a’laiy-he wa aale-hi, fa-lakal hamdo rabba-naa.
Allaahumam-maj a’l-nee mim-man yo-hillo halaa-lahu wa yo-harre-mo haraama-hu wa yoa-meno be-mohka-mehi wa mota-shaabe-hehi waj-a’l-ho oon-san fee qabree wa oon-san fee hash-ree waj-a’l-nee mim-man tur-qaiy-he be-kulle aaya-tin qara-ahaa daraja-tan fee a’laa i’lliyyina aameena rabbal a’a-lameen.
O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and hasten their Relief. I have recited what You have decreed from Your Book, that which You sent down to Your Prophet, the Truthful One. May Allah’s blessings be on him and his family. So to You belongs all praises my Lord. O Allah, make me from among those who Enforce its obligations, and disallow its forbidden acts, Believe in its clear and its ambiguous verses. And make it a companion for me in my grave, and a companion in my rising, And make me among those who rise, for every verse recited, a rank of the most elevated aameen, Lord of the Worlds.
اے معبود! محمدؐ وآل محمدؑ پر رحمت نازل فرما اور ان کے آخرکے ظہور میں تعجیل فرما۔ اے معبود! میں نے تیری کتاب میں سے اتنا پڑھا جتنا تو نے چاہا کہ جسے تو نے نازل فرمایا اپنے سچے نبیؐ پر، پس حمد تیرے ہی لیے ہے اے ہمارے رب اے معبود! مجھے ان لوگوں میں رکھ جنہوں نے قرآن کے حلال کو حلال اور حرام کو حرام گردانا اور اس کی مستقل اور ذومعنی آیتوں پر ایمان لائے اور قرآن کو میری قبر کا ہم دم اور میرے حشر کاساتھی بنا دے اور مجھے ان لوگوں میں رکھ کہ جو ہر آیت کے پڑھنے سے ایک ایک درجہ بلند ہوتے جاتے ہیں بلندتر جنت میں ایساہو اے جہانوں کے رب۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
