1st Ziyarat Prophet (s)

زیارت رسول خداؐ-۱

1. Perform 2 rakats namaz of honouring the Mosque. After that, you may walk to the holy chamber that includes the tomb of the Holy Prophet (s). There, you may touch it with your hand, kiss it, and recite ziyarat Assalamo alaika ya Rasoolullah.

   اب ۲ رکعت نماز تحیت مسجد بجالائے۔ پھر حجرۂ مبارک کی طرف جائے اور اپنا ہاتھ اس سے مس کرکے اس پر بوسہ دے کر دُعا اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا رَسُوْلَ اللہِ پڑھے۔

2. You may then stand near the fore pillar on the right side of the tomb with the minbar to your right, facing the qibla, and this is where the Holy Prophet’s head rests. You may then recite Ashhado an la ilaaha illallah.

   پھر اس ستون کے قریب کھڑا ہو جو قبر مطہر کے دائیں طرف ہے وہاں اس طرح قبلہ رخ ہوجائے کہ بایاں کاندھا قبرِ مبارک کی طرف اور دایاں کاندھا منبر کی جانب ہو کہ یہی رسولؐ کے سرِ مبارک کا مقام ہے۔ لہٰذا اس طرح کھڑے ہو کر اَشْہَدُ اَنْ لَّا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللہُ پڑھے۔

3. Ibn Qawlawayh, through a considerable chain of authority, has reported Muhammad ibn Mas’ud as saying that he, once, saw Imam Sadiq (a) coming near the grave of the Holy Prophet (s), putting his hand on it, and saying…

   ابن قولویہؒ نے معتبر سند کے ساتھ محمد ابن مسعود سے روایت کی ہے کہ میں نے دیکھا کہ امام جعفر صادقؑ رسول اﷲؐ کی قبرِ مبارک کے قریب آئے اور اپنا ہاتھ اس پر رکھ کر یہ پڑھا۔۔۔

4. اَسْئَلُ اللہَ الَّذِی اجْتَبٰیكَ وَاخْتَارَكَ وَہَدٰیكَ وَہَدٰی بِكَ اَنْ یُّصَلِّیَ عَلَیْكَ وَعَلٰی اَھْلِ بَیْتِكَ الطَّاہِرِیْنَ۔

   AS'ALU ALLAAHA ALLAZEE IJTABAAKA WAKHTAARAKA WAHADAAKA WAHADAA BIKA AN YUSALLIYA 'ALAYKA WA'ALAA AHLI BAYTIKA AT-TAAHIREEN.

   I pray Allah -Who has chosen you, selected you, guided you, and guided (others) through you to bless you and your pure household.

   میں سوال کرتا ہوں اﷲسے جس نے آپ کو منتخب کیا آپ کو اختیارکیا آپ کو ہادی بنایا اور آپ کے ذریعے ہدایت دی وہ اﷲ آپ پر اور آپ کے پاکیزہ اہل بیتؑ پر درود نازل فرمائے۔

5. Then Imam (a) recited verse (33:56)…

   اس کے بعد امام نے آیت (۳۳:۵۶) کی تلاوت فرمائی۔۔۔

6. اِنَّ اللهَ وَمَلٰٓئِكَتَهٗ يُصَلُّوْنَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا صَلُّوْا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوْا تَسْلِيْمًا۔

   INNA ALLAAHA WAMALAA'IKATAHOO YUSALLOONA 'ALAA AN-NABIYYI YAA AYYUHAA ALLAZEENA AAMANOO SALLOO 'ALAYHI WASALLIMOO TASLEEMAA.

   Surely Allah and His angels bless the Prophet; O you who believe! call for (Divine) blessings on him and salute him with a (becoming) salutation.

   بے شک اﷲ اور اس کے فرشتے درود بھیجتے ہیں نبی اکرمؐ پر اے ایمان والوتم بھی ان پر درود بھیجو اوراس طرح سلام کرو جیسا حق ہے۔

7. In Misbah al-Mutahajjid, Shaykh Tusi says: When you finish praying near the tomb (of the Holy Prophet), you may come to the minbar, pass your hand over it, hold the two lower pommels, and then rub your face and eyes, for this brings about eye healing. You may then offer prayers there, praise and thank Almighty Allah, and ask for the settlement of your needs. In this respect, the Holy Prophet (s) is reported to have said, “The area between my tomb and my minbar is one of the gardens of Paradise. My minbar is situated at one of the gates of Paradise.”

   شیخؒ نے مصباح میں فرمایا ہے : جب آنحضرتؐ کی قبرِ مبارک کے نزدیک دعا وغیرہ سے فارغ ہو جاؤ تو منبر کے پاس جاؤ اور اپنا ہاتھ اس سے مس کرو۔ نیز منبر کی نچلی طرف جو انارکے مثل زینے بنے ہیں ان کو بھی اپنے چہرے اور آنکھوں سے مس کرو،اس سے آنکھوں کو شفا ملتی ہے۔ پھر منبر کے پاس کھڑے ہو کر اﷲتعالیٰ کی حمد و ثناء کرو اور اپنی حاجات طلب کرو،کیوں کہ حضرت رسول خداؐ کا ارشاد ہے : میری قبر اور میرے منبر کے درمیان جنت کے باغوں میں سے ایک باغ ہے،میرا منبربہشت کے دروازوں میں سے ایک دروازہ ہے۔

8. You may then come near the standing-place of the Holy Prophet (maqam Nabi) and offer as many prayers as possible therein. You may also offer as many prayers as possible in the Holy Prophet’s Mosque, for the reward of one prayer herein is equal to the reward of 1000 prayers (offered at other places). Whenever you enter or leave the Mosque, you may invoke Almighty Allah’s blessings upon the Holy Prophet. You may also offer prayers at the House of Lady Fatimah (‘a). You may also visit the standing-place of Archangel Gabriel (maqam Jibraeel), which lies under the waterspout. At this very place, Archangel Gabriel used to stay after he would ask permission of the Holy Prophet (s). At this place, you may say the following…

   پھر مقامِ رسولؐ کے پاس جائے اور وہاں جتنی نمازیں پڑھ سکے پڑھے، مسجدِ نبویؐ میں زیادہ سے زیادہ نمازیں ادا کرے کیوں کہ وہاں پڑھی گئی ایک نماز ہزار نمازوں کے برابر ہے اور جب بھی مسجد میں داخل ہو یا وہاں سے باہر نکلے تو صلوات پڑھے حضرت فاطمتہ الزہراؑ کے مکان میں بھی نماز پڑھے اور پرنالے کے نیچے مقامِ جبرائیلؑ پر بھی جائے اسی مقام پر حضرت جبرائیلؑ، حضرت نبی اکرمؐ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہونے کی اجازت لیا کرتے تھے وہاں کھڑے ہوکر یہ پڑھے۔۔۔

9. اَسْاَلُكَ اَيْ جَوَادُ، اَيْ كَرِيْمُ، اَيْ قَرِيْبُ، اَيْ بَعِيْدُ اَنْ تَرُدَّ عَلَيَّ نِعْمَتَكَ۔

   AS'ALUKA AY JAWAADU, AY KAREEMU, AY QAREEBU, AY BA'EEDU AN TARUDDA 'ALAYYA NI'MATAK.

   I beseech You, O All-magnanimous, O All-generous, O Nigh, O Remote, to renew Your boons to me.

   سوال کرتا ہوں تجھ سے اے جواد! اے مہربان اے نزدیک اے دور مجھے اپنی نعمت عطا فرما۔

10. Now you may recite Invocation: Rasool-e-Khuda (s).

    اب درود حضرت رسول اللہؐ پڑھے۔

11. Recite Namaz-e-Ziyarat H.Muhammad (s).

    پھر نمازِ زیارت رسول خداؐ پڑھے۔
