Allahumma in kunto qad
اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنْ كُنْتُ قَدْ
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنْ كُنْتُ قَدْ عَصَیْتُكَ فَاِنِّیْ قَدْ اَطَعْتُكَ فِیْ الْاِیْمَانِ مِنِّیْ بِكَ مَنًّا مِّنْكَ عَلَیَّ لَا مَنًّا مِنِّیْ عَلَیْكَ وَاَطَعْتُكَ فِیْ اَحَبِّ الْاَشْیَآءِ لَكَ لَمْ اَتَّخِذْ لَكَ وَلَدًا وَّلَمْ اَدْعُ لَكَ شَرِیْكًا وَّقَدْ عَصَیْتُكَ فِیْ اَشْیَآءَ كَثِیْرَۃٍ عَلٰی غَیْرِ وَجْهِ الْمَكَابَرَۃِ لَكَ وَلَا الْخُرُوْجِ عَنْ عُبُوْدِیَّتِكَ وَلَا الْجُحُوْدِ لِرُبُوْبِیَّتِكَ وَلٰكِنِ اتَّبَعْتُ ھَوَایَ وَاَزَلَّنِیْ الشَّیْطَانُ بَعْدَ الْحُجَّۃِ عَلَیَّ وَالْبَیَانِ۔
Allaahumma in kunto qad a’saytoka fa-innee qad a-ta’toka fil eemaane minnee beka mannam minka a’layya la mannan minnee a’laika wa a-ta’toka fee ahabbil ashyaaa-e laka lam attakhiz laka waladawn wa lam ad-o’ laka shareekawn wa qad a’saytoka fee ashyaaa-a kaseeratin a’laa ghayre wajhil makaabarate laka wa lal khorooje a’n o’boodiyyateka wa lal johoode le roboobiyyateka wa laakenit taba’to hawaaya wa azallanish shaytaano ba’dal hujjate a’layya wal bayaane.
O Allah, if I have disobeyed you, I have also obeyed you in my belief in You. This is out of Your favoring upon me, not a favor that I do to You. I have also obeyed You in the things that You most like: I have not claimed that You have child and I have not associated any one with You. Yet, I have disobeyed You in many things, on account of neither defiance, nor mutiny against my servitude to You, nor denial of Your Godhead; rather, I only followed my lusts, and Satan caused me to slip although You have had clear argument against me.
اے معبود! اگر تیری نا فرمانی کرتا رہا ہوں تو بھی میں نے تجھ پر ایمان رکھنے میں تیری اطاعت کی ہے یہ بھی مجھ پر تیرا احسان ہے نہ تجھ پر میرا احسان، میں نے تیری پسندیدہ چیزوں میں تیری اطاعت کی ہے کہ تیرے لئے کوئی بیٹا قرار نہیں دیا نہ کسی کو تیرا شریک ٹھہرایا ہے میں نے بہت سی چیزوں میں جو تیری نا فرمانی کی تو اس میں تیرے سامنے بڑائی نہیں کی نہ میں تیری بندگی سے باہر نکلا اور نہ میں نے تیری ربوبیت سے انکار کیا لیکن یہ کہ میں اپنی خواہش کے پیچھے چلا اور مجھے شیطان نے پھسلایا جب کہ مجھ پر حجت ظاہر تھی۔
فَاِنْ تُعَذِّبْنِیْ فَبِذُنُوْبِیْ غَیْرَ ظَالِمٍ لِیْ وَاِنْ تَعْفُ عَنِّیْ وَتَرْحَمْنِیْ فَبِجُوْدِكَ وَكَرَمِكَ یَا كَرِیْمُ۔
اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنَّ ذُنُوْبِیْ لَمْ یَبْقَ لَھَا اِلَّا رَجَآءُ عَفْوِكَ وَقَدْ قَدَّمْتُ اٰلَۃَ الْحِرْمَانِ فَاَنَا اَسْئَلُكَ۔
اَللّٰھُمَّ مَا لَا اَسْتَوْجِبُهٗ وَاَطْلُبُ مِنْكَ مَا لَا اَسْتَحِقُّهٗ۔
Fa-in to-a’zzibnee fa-be-zonoobee ghayra zaalemin lee wa in ta’fo a’nnee wa tarhamnee fa-be-joodeka wa karameka yaa kareemo allaahumma inna zonoobee lam yabqa lahaa illaa rajaaa-o a’fweka wa qad qaddamto aalatal hirmaane fa-anaa as-aloka allaahumma maa laa astawjebohu wa atlobo minka maa laa astahiqqohu.
Thus, if You chastise me, then it is on account of my sins and You are never unjust to me. And if You pardon me and have mercy upon me, then this is out of Your magnanimity and generosity, O All-generous. O Allah, nothing can stand for my sins except my hope in Your pardon, although I have done things due to which I deserve deprivation of Your pardon. Therefore, I beseech You, O Allah, for that which I do not deserve and I seek from You that which I do not merit.
پس تو اگر مجھے عذاب کرے تو وہ ظلم نہیں میرے گناہوں کا بدلہ ہے اور اگر مجھے معاف کرے اور رحم فرمائے تو وہ تیرا لطف و کرم ہوگا اے مہربان اے معبود! بے شک میرے گناہوں کا کوئی علاج نہیں سوائے تیری پردہ پوشی کے جب کہ میں نے محرومی کا سامان کیا ہے تو بھی تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں اے معبود! اس چیز کا جس کا حق دار نہیں ہوں اور خواہش کرتا ہوں اس چیز کی جس کا اہل نہیں ہوں۔
اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنْ تُعَذِّبْنِیْ فَبِذُنُوْبِیْ وَلَمْ تَظْلِمْنِیْ شَیْئًا وَّاِنْ تَغْفِرْ لِیْ فَخَیْرُ رَاحِمٍ اَنْتَ یَا سَیِّدِیْ۔
اَللّٰھُمَّ اَنْتَ اَنْتَ وَاَنَا اَنَا اَنْتَ الْعَوَّادُ بِالْمَغْفِرَۃِ وَاَنَا الْعَوَّادُ بِالذُّنُوْبِ وَاَنْتَ الْمُتَفَضِّلُ بِالْحِلْمِ وَاَنَا الْعَوَّادُ بِالْجَھْلِ۔
Allaahumma in to-a’zzibnee fabezonoobee wa lam tazlimnee shayawn wa in taghfir lee fa-khayro raahemin anta yaa sayyedee allaahumma anta anta wa anaa anaa antal a’wwaado bil-maghferate wa anal a’wwaado biz-zonoobe wa antal motafazzelo bil hilme wa anal a’wwaado bil-jahle.
O Allah, if you chastise me, then this will be on account of my sins and You shall never be unjust to me. But if You forgive me, then You are already the best of all those who show mercy, O my Master. O Allah, You are what You are and I am what I am: You are always returning with forgiveness and I always return with sinning. You always confer with forbearance and I always return with impatience.
اے معبود! اگر تو مجھے سزا دے تو وہ میرے گناہوں کا بدلہ ہے وہ ظلم نہیں ہوگا اور اگر مجھے بخش دے تو بھی تو بہترین رحم کرنے والا ہے اے میرے مالک اے معبود! تو تو ہے اور میں میں ہوں تو بار بار بخشنے والا ہے اور میں بار بار گناہ کرنے والا ہوں تو حلم کے ساتھ احسان کرنے والا ہے اور میں نادانی میں خطا کرنے والا ہوں۔
اَللّٰھُمَّ فَاِنِّیْ اَسْئَلُكَ یَا كَنْزَ الضُّعَفَآءِ یَا عَظِیْمَ الرَّجَآءِ یَا مُنْقِذَ الْغَرْقٰی یَا مُنْجِحَ الْھَلْكٰی یَا مُمِیْتَ الْاَحْیَآءِ یَا مُحْیِیَ الْمَوْتٰی اَنْتَ اللہُ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ اَنْتَ الَّذِیْ سَجَدَ لَكَ شُعَاعُ الشَّمْسِ وَ دَوِیُّ الْمَآءِ وَحَفِیْفُ الشَّجَرِ وَنُوْرُ الْقَمَرِ وَظُلْمَۃُ اللَّیْلِ وَضَوْءُ النَّھَارِ وَخَفَقَانُ الطَّیْرِ۔
Allaahumma fa-innee as-aloka yaa kanzaz zo-a’faaa-e yaa a’zeemar rajaaa-e yaa munqezal gharqaa yaa munjehal halkaa yaa momeetal ahyaaa-e yaa mohyeyal mawtaa antal laaho laa elaaha illaa anta antal lazee sajada laka sho-a’a-o’sh shamse wa zawiyyul maaa-e wa hafeefush shajare wa noorul qamare wa zulmatul layle wa zaw-un nahaare wa khafaqaanut tayre.
O Allah, I do beseech You, O treasure of the weak, O He in Whom great hope is put, O rescuer of the drowned, O savior of those about to perish, O He Who causes the alive to die, O He Who causes the dead to live again! You are Allah; there is no god but You. It is You before Whom has prostrated the ray of the sun, the sound of water, the rustling of trees, and the moonlight, the murk of night, the light of daytime, and the flapping of birds.
اے معبود! میں تیرا سوالی ہوں اے کمزوروں کے خزانہ! اے بڑی امید گاہ اے ڈوبتوں کو بچانے والے اے تباہی سے نجات دینے والے اے زندوں کو مارنے والے اے مردوں کو زندہ کرنے والے تو وہ اﷲ ہے کہ نہیں کوئی معبود سوائے تیرے تو وہ ذات ہے جس کو سجدہ کرتی ہیں سورج کی کرن، پانی کی آواز،پتوں کی کھڑکھڑاہٹ، چاند کی چاندنی،رات کی تاریکیاں،دن کی روشنی اور پرندوں کی پھڑپھڑاہٹ۔
فَاَسْئَلُكَ اَللّٰھُمَّ یَا عَظِیْمُ بِحَقِّكَ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِهِ الصَّادِقِیْنَ وَبِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِهِ الصَّادِقِیْنَ عَلَیْكَ وَبِحَقِّكَ عَلٰی عَلِیٍّ وَبِحَقِّ عَلِیٍّ عَلَیْكَ وَبِحَقِّكَ عَلٰی فَاطِمَۃَ وَبِحَقِّ فَاطِمَۃَ عَلَیْكَ وَبِحَقِّكَ عَلَی الْحَسَنِ وَبِحَقِّ الْحَسَنِ عَلَیْكَ وَبِحَقِّكَ عَلَی الْحُسَیْنِ وَبِحَقِّ الْحُسَیْنِ عَلَیْكَ۔
Fa-as-aloka allaahumma yaa a’zeemo be-haqqeka a’laa mohammadiwn wa aalehis saadeqeena wa be haqqe mohammadiwn wa aalehis saadeqeena a’laika wa be-haqqeka a’laa a’liyyin wa be-haqqe a’liyyin a’laika wa be-haqqeka a’laa faatemata wa be-haqqe faatemata a’laika wa be-haqqeka a’lal hasane wa be-haqqeka wa be-haqqil hasane a’laika wa be-haqqeka a’lal husayne wa be-haqqil husayne a’laika.
I thus beseech You, O All-great, in the name of the duty of Muhammad and his veracious Household towards You, in the name of Your duty towards Muhammad and his veracious Household, in the name of the duty of Ali towards You, in the name of Your duty towards Ali, in the name of the duty of Fatima towards You, in the name of Your duty towards Fatima, in the name of the duty of Hasan towards You, in the name of Your duty towards Hasan, in the name of the duty of Husain towards You, and in the name of Your duty towards Husain.
پس سوال کرتا ہوں اے معبود! اے عظمت والے اس محمدؐ اور ان کی سچی آلؑ پر اور محمدؐ اور ان کی سچی آل کے حق کے واسطے سے جو تجھ پر ہے اور تیرے حق کے واسطے سے جو علیؑ پر ہے اور علی ؑ کے حق کے واسطے جو تجھ پر ہے تیرے حق کے واسطے جو فاطمہ ؑ پر ہے اور فاطمہ ؑ کے حق کے واسطے جو تجھ پر ہے تیرے حق کے واسطے جو حسن ؑ پر ہے اور حسن کے حق کے واسطے جوتجھ پر ہے تیرے حق کے واسطے جو حسین ؑ پر ہے اور حسین ؑ کے حق کے واسطے جو تجھ پر ہے۔
فَاِنَّ حُقُوْقَھُمْ عَلَیْكَ مِنْ اَفْضَلِ اِنْعَامِكَ عَلَیْھِمْ وَبِالشَّانِ الَّذِیْ لَكَ عِنْدَھُمْ وَبِالشَّانِ الَّذِیْ لَھُمْ عِنْدَكَ صَلِّ عَلَیْھِمْ یَا رَبِّ صَلٰوۃً دَآئِمَۃً مُنْتَھٰی رِضَاكَ وَاغْفِرْ لِیْ بِھِمُ الذُّنُوْبَ الَّتِیْ بَیْنِی وَبَیْنَكَ وَاَرْضِ عَنِّیْ خَلْقَكَ وَاَتْمِمْ عَلَیَّ نِعْمَتَكَ كَمَا اَتْمَمْتَھَا عَلٰی اٰبَآئِیْ مِنْ قَبْلُ۔
Fa-inna hoqooqahum a’laika min afzale in-a’ameka a’layhim wa bish-shaanil lazee laka i’ndahum wa bish-shaanil lazee lahum i’ndaka salle a’layhim yaa rabbe salaatan daaa-ematan muntahaa rezaaka wagh-fir lee behemuz zonoobal latee bainee wa bainaka war-ze a’nnee khalqaka wa atmim a’layya ne’mataka kamaa atmamtahaa a’laa aabaaa-ee min qablo.
Verily, Your duty towards them is one of the greatest blessings that You conferred upon them. And (I beseech You) in the name of the position that You enjoy with them and in the name of the position that they enjoy with You to (please) bless them, O Lord, with blessings that are as endless until they attain Your pleasure, to forgive me, in their names, the sins that I committed concerning my duties towards You, to make Your creatures to be satisfied with me, to complete Your favors upon me in the same way as You had completed them upon my forefathers.
یقینًا ان کے جو حقوق تجھ پر ہیں وہ ان پر تیرے بہترین انعامات ہیں تیری شان کا واسطہ جو ان کے نزدیک ہے اور ان کی عزّت کا واسطہ جو تیرے نزدیک ہے ان پر رحمت فرما اے پروردگار ہمیشہ ہمیشہ کی رحمت اپنی پوری خوشنودی اوران کی خاطر میرے گناہ بخش دے جو میرے اور تیرے درمیان حائل ہیں مجھ پر اپنی مخلوق کو راضی کردے مجھ پر اپنی نعمت تمام فرما جیسے تونے میرے بزرگوں پر اس سے پہلے نعمت تمام کی۔
وَلَا تَجْعَلْ لِاَحَدٍ مِّنَ الْمَخْلُوْقِیْنَ عَلَیَّ فِیْھَا امْتِنَانًا وَامْنُنْ عَلَیَّ كَمَا مَنَنْتَ عَلٰی اٰبَآئِیْ مِنْ قَبْلُ یَا كٓھٰیٰعٓصٓ۔
اَللّٰھُمَّ كَمَا صَلَّیْتَ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِهٖ فَاسْتَجِبْ لِیْ دُعَآئِیْ فِیْمَا سَئَلْتُ یَا كَرِیْمُ یَا كَرِیْمُ یَا كَرِیْمُ۔
Wa laa taj-a’l le-ahadim menal makhlooqeena a’layya feeham tenaanan wam-nun a’layya kamaa mananta a’laa aabaaa-ee min qablo yaa kaaf-haa-yaa-ayn-saad allaahumma kamaa sallayta a’laa mohammadiwn wa aalehi fas-tajib lee do-aaa-ee feemaa sa-alto yaa kareemo yaa kareemo yaa kareemo.
Not to cause any of Your creatures to have any role in these favors, to confer upon me with graces in the same way as You had already done with my forefathers, O Allah, in the same way as You have poured blessings upon Muhammad and his Household, entreaty my to respond (please) as regards that which I have asked from You, O All-generous! O All-generous! O All-generous!
اور اس بارے میں مجھ کو مخلوق میں سے کسی کا احسان مند نہ بنا بلکہ خود تو مجھ پر احسان فرما جیسے اس سے پہلے میرے بزرگوں پر احسان کیا اے کھٰیٰعص اے معبود! جیسے تونے رحمت کی ہے محمدؐ وآل محمدؑ پر اب میری دعا بھی قبول کر جو کچھ مانگا ہے عطا کردے اے کریم اے کریم اے کریم۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
