The martyrdom of Imam Musa al-Kazim (a) in the year 183 AH is the main majlis of Rajab. It is also the date of the mass walk to Kadhimayn, a ziyara made on foot. Rajab carries celebrations on either side of this day, so the mood here stands on its own.
