1. Shaikh Mufeed narrates in Muqniah that it is recommended to recite salawaat on Rasool-e-Khuda (s) in the month of Ramazan, minimum 100 times daily and if one recites more than this, the act is even better.

   مقنعہ میں شیخ مفیدؒ نے فرمایا : ماہِ رمضان کی سنتوں میں سے ایک حضرت رسولؐ پر صلوات بھیجنا ہے کہ روزانہ سو مرتبہ صلوات بھیجے اور اگر اس سے زیادہ بھیجے تو یہ افضل عمل ہے۔

2. It has been narrated to recite Surah Qadr 1000 times in every night of Mahe Ramazan.

   روایت میں ہے کہ ماہِ رمضان کی ہر رات ایک ہزار مرتبہ سورۂ قدر پڑھے۔

3. If possible, recite Surah Dukhaan 100 times in every night.

   اگر ممکن ہو تو ہر رات ۱۰۰ مرتبہ سورۂ دخان پڑھے۔

4. It is narrated that if a person in the night of Mahe Ramazan recites Surah Fatah in his naafela namaz then he will be safe from all calamities in that year.

   روایت میں ہے کہ ماہ رمضان کی ہر رات کی نافلہ نماز میں سورۂ فتح پڑھے تو وہ اس سال میں ہر بلا سے محفوظ رہے گا۔

5. Ibne Qirat has narrated that according to Imam Muhammad Taqi (a) and also Shaikh Mufeed has recorded in Al Ghariya wa Al-Ashraaf which is the famous narration that one should complete 1000 rakats of namaz in the form of 2x2 rakats in the whole month of Ramazan. In the first 2/3 of Mahe Ramazan he should recite 20 rakats of namaz in such a way that after Namaz-e-Maghrib he should recite 8 rakat namaz and after Namaz-e-Isha he should recite 12 rakats. In the last 1/3 of Mahe Ramazan he should recite 30 rakats of namaz in such a way that after Namaz-e-Maghrib he should recite 8 rakat namaz and after Namaz-e-Isha he should recite 22 rakats. The remaining 300 rakats should be divided into three and each 100 rakats should be recited in each Shab-e-Qadr (ie. 19th, 21st & 23rd).

   واضح ہو کہ ماہِ رمضان کی رات کے اعمال میں۱۰۰۰ رکعت نماز بھی ہے جو اس پورے مہینے میں پڑھی جائے گی، بزرگ علماء نے کتب فقہ اور کتب عبادات میں اس کا ذکر کیا ہے تاہم اس کی ترکیب کے سلسلے میں مختلف حدیثیں وارد ہوئی ہیں۔ لیکن ابن قرۃ کی روایت کے مطابق امام محمد تقیؑ کا فرمان ہے،جسے شیخ مفیدؒ نے اپنی کتاب الغریہ و الاشراف میں نقل کیا ہے جو قول مشہوربھی ہے اور وہ یہ ہے کہ ماہِ رمضان کے پہلے اور دوسرے عشرے میں ہر رات دو دو رکعت کر کے نماز پڑھے ان میں سے ۸ رکعت نماز مغرب کے بعد اور ۱۲ رکعت عشا کے بعد بجا لائے پھر ماہ رمضان کے آخری عشرے میں ہر رات ۳۰ رکعت نماز مذکورہ ترتیب سے اس طرح پڑھے کہ ۸ رکعت نماز مغرب کے بعد اور ۲۲ رکعت عشا کے بعد ادا کرے۔باقی ۳۰۰ رکعت اس طرح پوری کرے کہ ۱۰۰ رکعت انیس کی شب، ۱۰۰ رکعت اکیس کی شب اور ۱۰۰ رکعت تیئیس کی شب میں بجا لائے تومجموعی طور پر ایک ہزار رکعت پوری ہو جائے گی۔

   روایت میں ہے کہ ماہِ رمضان کے نافلہ کی ہر ۲ رکعت کے بعد یہ پڑھے۔۔۔

7. بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

   BISMI ALLAAHI AR-RAHMAANI AR-RAHEEM

   In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

   اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

8. اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِيْمَا تَقْضِىْ وَتُقَدِّرُ مِنَ الْاَمْرِ الْمَحْتُوْمِ، وَفِيْمَا تَفْرُقُ مِنَ الْاَمْرِ الْحَكِيْمِ فِىْ لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ، اَنْ تَجْعَلَنِىْ مِنْ حُجَّاجِ بَيْتِكَ الْحَرَامِ الْمَبْرُوْرِ حَجُّهُمُ الْمَشْكُوْرِ سَعْيُهُمُ الْمَغْفُوْرِ ذُنُوْبُهُمْ، وَاَسْاَلُكَ اَنْ تُطِيْلَ عُمْرِىْ فِىْ طَاعَتِكَ، وَتُوَسِّعَ لِىْ فِىْ رِزْقِىْ، يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ۔

   ALLAAHUMMA IJ'AL FEEMAA TAQDEE WATUQADDIRU MINA AL-AMRI AL-MAHTOOMI, WAFEEMAA TAFRUQU MINA AL-AMRI AL-HAKEEMI FEE LAYLATI AL-QADRI, AN TAJ'ALANEE MIN HUJJAAJI BAYTIKA AL-HARAAMI AL-MABROORI HAJJUHUMU AL-MASHKOORI SA'YUHUMU AL-MAGHFOORI ZUNOOBUHUM, WA-AS'ALUKA AN TUTEELA 'UMREE FEE TAA'ATIKA, WATUWASSI'A LEE FEE RIZQEE, YAA ARHAMA AR-RAAHIMEEN.

   O Allah! In what You decree and ordain of the inevitable matters, and in what You decide of the wise matters on the Night of Power, make me among the pilgrims of Your Sacred House, whose pilgrimage is accepted, whose striving is praised, and whose sins are forgiven. And I ask You to prolong my life in Your obedience, and to expand my sustenance, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

   اے معبود! تو قضا وقدر میں جن یقینی امور کو طے فرماتا ہے اور محکم فیصلے کرتا ہے اور شبِ قدر میں جو پُر حکمت حکم جاری کرتا ہے ان میں مجھے اپنے بیت الحرام کعبہ کے ایسے حاجیوں میں سے قرار دے کہ جن کا حج تیرے ہاں مقبول ہے جن کی سعی پسندیدہ ہوئی جن کے گناہ بخش دیئے گئے اور تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں کہ میری عمر دراز کر جو تیری بندگی میں گزرے اور میرے رزق میں وسعت فرما اے سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے۔

9. اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔

   ALLAAHUMMA SALLI 'ALAA MUHAMMADIN WA-AALI MUHAMMAD.

   O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

   اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
