His Supplication in Asking for the Best
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْتَخِيْرُكَ بِعِلْمِكَ فَصَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِهٖ وَاقْضِ لِيْ بِالْخِيَرَةِ وَاَلْهِمْنَا مَعْرِفَةَ الْاِخْتِيَارِ وَاجْعَلْ ذٰلِكَ ذَرِيْعَةً اِلَى الرِّضَا بِمَا قَضَيْتَ لَنَا وَالتَّسْلِيْمِ لِمَا حَكَمْتَ فَاَزِحْ عَنَّا رَيْبَ الْاِرْتِيَابِ وَاَيِّدْنَا بِيَقِيْنِ الْمُخْلِصِيْنَ۔
Allaahumma innee astakheeruka bi'ilmika fasalli 'alaa muhammadin waaalihee waqdi lee bil-khiyarati wal-himnaa ma'rifata al-ikhtiyaari waj'al zaalika zaree'atan ilaa ar-ridaa bimaa qadayta lanaa wat-tasleemi limaa hakamta faazih 'annaa rayba al-irtiyaabi waayyidnaa biyaqeeni al-mukhliseena. auto
O God, I ask from Thee the best in Thy knowledge, so bless Muhammad and his Household and decree for me the best! Inspire us with knowledge to choose the best and make that a means to being pleased with what Thou hast decreed for us and submitting to what Thou hast decided! Banish from us the doubt of misgiving and confirm us with the certainty of the sincere!
بارالہا! میں تیرے علم کے ذریعہ تجھ سے خیر وبہود چاہتا ہوں۔ تومحمد اوران کی آل پر رحمت نازل کر اور میرے لئے اچھائی کا فیصلہ صادر فرما اورہمارے دل میں اپنے فیصلہ (کی حکمت ومصلحت) کا القا کر اور اسے ایک ذریعہ قرار دے کہ ہم تیرے فیصلہ پر راضی رہیں اور تیرے حکم کے آگے سر تسلیم خم کریں۔ اس طرح ہم سے شک کی خلش دور کردے اورمخلصین کا یقین ہمارے اندر پیدا کرکے ہمیں تقویت دے۔
وَلَا تَسُمْنَا عَجْزَ الْمَعْرِفَةِ عَمَّا تَخَيَّرْتَ فَنَغْمِطَ قَدْرَكَ وَنَكْرَهَ مَوْضِعَ رِضَاكَ وَنَجْنَحَ اِلَى الَّتِيْ هِيَ اَبْعَدُ مِنْ حُسْنِ الْعَاقِبَةِ وَاَقْرَبُ اِلٰى ضِدِّ الْعَافِيَةِ حَبِّبْ اِلَيْنَا مَا نَكْرَهُ مِنْ قَضَاۗئِكَ وَسَهِّلْ عَلَيْنَا مَا نَسْتَصْعِبُ مِنْ حُكْمِكَ۔
Walaa tasumnaa 'ajza al-ma'rifati 'ammaa takhayyarta fanaghmita qadraka wanakraha mawdi'a ridaaka wanajnaha ilaa allatee hiya ab'adu min husni al-'aaqibati waaqrabu ilaa diddi al-'aafiyati habbib ilaynaa maa nakrahu min qadaa'ika wasahhil 'alaynaa maa nastas'ibu min hukmika. auto
Visit us not with incapacity to know what Thou hast chosen, lest we despise Thy measuring out, dislike the place of Thy good pleasure, and incline toward that which is further from good outcome and nearer to the opposite of well-being! Make us love what we dislike in Thy decree and make easy for us what we find difficult in Thy decision!
اور ہمیں خود ہمارے حوالے نہ کر دے کہ جو تو نے فیصلہ کیا ہے اس کی معرفت سے عاجز رہیں اور تیری قدرومنزلت کو سبک سمجھیں اورجس چیزسے تیری رضا وابستہ ہے اسے ناپسند کریں اور جو چیز انجام کی خوبی سے دور اورعافیت کی ضد سے قریب ہو اس کی طرف مائل ہو جائیں۔ تیرے جس فیصلہ کو ہم ناپسند کریں وہ ہمیں پسندیدہ بنا دے۔
وَالْهِمْنَا الْاِنْقِيَادَ لِمَا اَوْرَدْتَ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ مَشِيَّتِكَ حَتّٰى لَا نُحِبَّ تَاخِيْرَ مَا عَجَّلْتَ وَلَا تَعْجِيْلَ مَا اَخَّرْتَ وَلَا نَكْرَهَ مَا اَحْبَبْتَ وَلَا نَتَخَيَّرَ مَا كَرِهْتَ وَاخْتِمْ لَنَا بِالَّتِيْ هِيَ اَحْمَدُ عَاقِبَةً وَاَكْرَمُ مَصِيْرًا اِنَّكَ تُفِيْدُ الْكَرِيْمَةَ وَتُعْطِي الْجَسِيْمَةَ وَتَفْعَلُ مَا تُرِيْدُ وَاَنْتَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ۔
Wallaahimnaa al-inqiyaada limaa awradta 'alaynaa min mashiyyatika hattaa laa nuhibba taakheera maa 'ajjalta walaa ta'jeela maa akhkharta walaa nakraha maa ahbabta walaa natakhayyara maa karihta wakhtim lanaa billatee hiya ahmadu 'aaqibatan waakramu maseeran innaka tufeedu al-kareemata watu'tee al-jaseemata wataf'alu maa tureedu waanta 'alaa kulli shay'in qadeerun. auto
Inspire us to yield to that which Thou bringest upon us by Thy will, lest we love the delay of what Thou hast hastened and the hastening of what Thou hast delayed, dislike what Thou lovest, and choose what Thou dislikest! Seal us with that which is most praised in outcome and most generous in issue! Surely Thou givest generous gain, bestowest the immense, dost what Thou wilt, and Thou art powerful over everything.
اورجسے ہم دشوار سمجھیں اسے ہمارے لئے سہل وآسان کر د ے اور جس مشیت وارادہ کو ہم سے متعلق کیا ہے اس کی اطاعت ہمارے دل میں القا کر۔ یہاں تک کہ جس چیزمیں تو نے تعجیل کی ہے اس میں تعجیل نہ چاہیں اورجسے تو نے پسند کیا ہے اسے نا پسند اورجسے نا گوار سمجھا ہے اسے اختیار نہ کریں۔ اور ہمارے کاموں کا اس چیز پر خاتمہ کر جو انجام کے لحاظ سے پسندیدہ اور مآل کے اعتبار سے بہتر ہو۔ اس لئے کہ تو نفیس وپاکیزہ چیزیں عطا کرتا اور بڑی نعمتیں بخشتا ہے اور جو چاہتا ہے وہی کرتا ہے اور تو ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھتا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
