1st Sermon
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ الظُّلُمَاتِ وَالنُّوْرَ ثُمَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُوْنَ لَا نُشْرِكُ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا وَلَا نَتَّخِذُ مِنْ دُوْنِهٖ وَلِيًّا وَّالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِيْ لَهٗ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْاَرْضِ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَهُوَ الْحَكِيْمُ الْخَبِيْرُ
Al-hamdu lillaahi allazee khalaqa as-samaawaati wal-arda waja'ala az-zulumaati wan-noora thumma allazeena kafaroo birabbihim ya'diloona laa nushriku billaahi shay'an walaa nattakhizu min doonihee waliyyan walhamdu lillaahi allazee lahoo maa fee as-samaawaati wamaa fee al-ardi walahu al-hamdu fee al-aakhirati wahuwa al-hakeemu al-khabeeru auto
All praise is due to Allah Who created the heavens and the earth and made the darkness and the light; yet, those who disbelieve set up equals with their Lord. We set up no partner with Allah nor do we betake ourselves any guardian save Him. All praise is due to Allah Whose is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth. To Him is due all praise in the hereafter; and He is the Wise, the Aware.
حمد ہے خدا کے لئے جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو پیدا کیااور تاریکی و روشنی کو ایجاد کیا پھر بھی وہ لوگ اپنےرب کا انکار کرتے اور منہ موڑتے ہیں لیکن ہم کسی کو خدا کاشریک نہیں سمجھتے اور نہ اس کے سواکسی کو سرپرست بناتے ہیں اور حمدہے خدا کے لئے کہ اسی کا ہےجو کچھ آسمانوں اور زمین میں حمد ہے اس کے لئے روزِ آخرت میں کہ وہ حکمت والا ہےآگاہ ہے۔
يَعْلَمُ مَا يَلِجُ فِي الْاَرْضِ وَمَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا وَمَا يَنْزِلُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَمَا يَعْرُجُ فِيْهَا وَهُوَ الرَّحِيْمُ الْغَفُوْرُ كَذٰلِكَ اللهُ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ اِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيْرُ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِيْ يُمْسِكُ السَّمَاءَ اَنْ تَقَعَ عَلَى الْاَرْضِ اِلَّا بِاِذْنِهٖ اِنَّ اللهَ بِالنَّاسِ لَرَؤُوْفٌ رَحِيْمٌ۔
Ya'lamu maa yaliju fee al-ardi wamaa yakhruju minhaa wamaa yanzilu mina as-samaa'i wamaa ya'ruju feehaa wahuwa ar-raheemu al-ghafooru kazaalika allaahu laa allaaha illaa huwa ilayhi al-maseeru wal-hamdu lillaahi allazee yumsiku as-samaa'a an taqa'a 'alaa al-ardi illaa biiznihee inna allaaha bin-naasi lara'oofun raheemun. auto
He knows that which goes down into the earth and that which comes out of it, and that which comes down from the heaven and that which goes up to it; and He is the Merciful, the Forgiving. Thus is Allah; there is no god save Him. To Him is the eventual coming. All praise is due to Allah Who withholds the heaven from falling on the earth except with His permission. Most surely, Allah is Compassionate, Merciful to men.
اور وہ جانتا ہے اسے جو زمین میں داخل ہوتا اور باہر آتا ہے اور اسے بھی جوآسمان سےاترتا اور اس کی طرف چڑھتاہے اور وہ بڑامہربان ہے اوربہت بخشش والا خداایسا ہی ہے کوئی معبود نہیں سوائے اس کے آخر اسی کے ہاں پہنچنا ہے حمد ہے خدا کے لئے جس نے آسمانوں کو روکا ہے کہ زمین پر نہ آگریں مگر جب وہ اسے حکم دے بے شک خدا انسانوں کے لئے محبت رکھنے والا اورمہربان ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ ارْحَمْنَا بِرَحْتَمِكَ وَاَعْمُمْنَا بِمَغْفِرَتِكَ اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْعَلِيُّ الْكَبِيْرُ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِيْ لَا مَقْنُوْطٌ مِنْ رَحْمَتِهٖ وَلَا مَخْلُوٌّ مِّنْ نِعْمَتِهٖ وَلَا مُؤْيِسٌ مِّنْ رَوْحِهٖ وَلَا مُسْتَنْكَفٌ عَنْ عِبَادَتِهٖ
Allaahumma arhamnaa birahtamika waa'mumnaa bimaghfiratika innaka anta al-'aliyyu al-kabeeru wal-hamdu lillaahi allazee laa maqnootun min rahmatihee walaa makhluwwun min ni'matihee walaa mu'yisun min rawhihee walaa mustankafun 'an 'ibaadatihee auto
O Allah, (please) have mercy upon us through Your mercy and cover us totally with Your forgiveness. Most surely, You are the All-high, the All-great. All praise be to Allah; there is no despair of His mercy, there is no existence without His bounties, there is no despondency from His endowment with rest, and there is none to disdain serving Him.
اے معبود! ہم پر رحم کر اپنی رحمت سے اور ہمیں اپنی بخشش سے بہرہ مند فرمابے شک تو بلند تر اور بزرگ تر ہے اور حمد ہے خدا کے لئے کہ جس کی رحمت سے ناامیدی نہیں ہوتی، ہاتھ اس کی نعمت سے خالی نہیں رہتا، اس کی مہربانی مایوس نہیں ہونے دیتی او ر نہ اس کی عبادت سے منہ موڑا جاتا ہے۔
بِكَلِمَتِهٖ قَامَتِ السَّمَاوَاتُ السَّبْعُ وَاسْتَقَرَّتِ الْاَرْضُ الْمِهَادُ وَثَبَتَتِ الْجِبَالُ الرَّوَاسِيْ وَجَرَتِ الرِّيَاحُ اللَّوَاقِحُ وَسَارَ فِيْ جَوِّ السَّمَاءِ السَّحَابُ وَقَامَتْ عَلٰى حُدُوْدِهَا الْبِحَارُ وَهُوَ اِلٰهٌ لَهَا وَقَاهِرٌ
Bikalimatihee qaamati as-samaawaatu as-sab'u wastaqarrati al-ardu al-mihaadu wathabatati al-jibaalu ar-rawaasee wajarati ar-riyaahu al-lawaaqihu wasaara fee jawwi as-samaa'i as-sahaabu waqaamat 'alaa hudoodihaa al-bihaaru wahuwa allaahun lahaa waqaahirun auto
By His Word, the Seven Skies rose, the plain lands settled, the firm mountains became steady, the fertilizing winds blew, the clouds moved in the atmosphere of the heavens, and the oceans were established on their boundaries. He is the god of all these and He is All-prevalent.
اس کے فرمان سے سات آسمان قائم ہیں پھیلی ہوئی زمین برقرار ہے بڑےبڑے پہاڑ اپنے پاؤں پر کھڑے ہیں ابر کو بھاری کرنے والی ہوائیں جاری ہیں فضا میں بادل تیرتےپھر رہے ہیں اور سمند ر اپنےکناروں کے اندر ٹھہرےہوئے ہیں وہی ان سب کا معبودہے وہ زبردست ہے کہ۔
يَذِلُّ لَهُ الْمُتَعَزِّزُوْنَ وَيَتَضَاءَلُ لَهُ الْمُتَكَبِّرُوْنَ وَيَدِيْنُ لَهٗ طَوْعًا وَكَرْهًا الْعَالَمُوْنَ نَحْمَدُهٗ كَمَا حَمِدَ نَفْسَهٗ وَكَمَا هُوَ اَهْلُهٗ وَنَسْتَعِيْنُهٗ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُهٗ وَنَسْتَهْدِيْهِ وَنَشْهَدُ اَنْ لَّا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهٗ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهٗ يَعْلَمُ مَا تُخْفِي النُّفُوْسُ وَمَا تُجِنُّ البِّحَارُ
Yazillu lahu al-muta'azzizoona wayatadaa'alu lahu al-mutakabbiroona wayadeenu lahoo taw'an wakarhan al-'aalamoona nahmaduhoo kamaa hamida nafsahoo wakamaa huwa ahluhoo wanasta'eenuhoo wanastaghfiruhoo wanastahdeehi wanashhadu an laa allaaha illaa allaahu wahdahoo laa shareeka lahoo ya'lamu maa tukhfee an-nufoosu wamaa tujinnu al-bbihaaru auto
Those claiming mightiness humiliate themselves before Him. Those claiming pride diminish themselves before Him. All the worlds are subservient to him willingly and unwillingly. We praise Him just as He has praised Himself and in the quantity of praise that He deserves. We seek His help, forgiveness, and guidance; and we bear witness that there is no god save Allah; One and Only and having no partner. He knows whatever is hidden by inner selves and whatever is concealed under oceans.
عزت والے اس کے آگے جھکتے ہیں، بڑائی والے اس کے سامنے عاجز ہیں او راہل ِجہان خوشی و نا خوشی اس کےفرماں بردار ہیں ہم اس کی حمد کرتےہیں جیسے خود اس نے کی اور جو اس کےشایانِ شان ہے ہم اس سے مدد چاہتے ہیں بخشش مانگتے ہیں اور ہدایت چاہتے ہیں ہم گواہ ہیں کہ خدا کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں وہ یگانہ ہے،کوئی اس کاشریک نہیں وہ جانتا ہے جو دلوں میں پوشیدہ جو سمندروں کی تہوں میں ہے۔
وَمَا تَوَارِيْ مِنْهُ ظُلْمَةٌ وَلَا تَغِيْبُ عَنْهُ غَائِبَةٌ وَمَا تَسْقُطُ مِنْ وَرَقَةٍ مِّنْ شَجَرَةٍ وَلَا حَبَّةٍ فِيْ ظُلْمَةٍ اِلَّا يَعْلَمُهَا لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ وَلَا رَطْبٍ وَّلَا يَابِسٍ اِلَّا فِيْ كِتَابٍ مُّبِيْنٍ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا يَعْمَلُ الْعَامِلُوْنَ وَاَيَّ مَجْرَىً يَّجْرُوْنَ وَاِلٰى اَيِّ مُنْقَلَبٍ يَنْقَلِبُوْنَ
Wamaa tawaaree minhu zulmatun walaa tagheebu 'anhu ghaa'ibatun wamaa tasqutu min waraqatin min shajaratin walaa habbatin fee zulmatin illaa ya'lamuhaa laa allaaha illaa huwa walaa ratbin walaa yaabisin illaa fee kitaabin mubeenin waya'lamu maa ya'malu al-'aamiloona waayya majrayan yajroona wailaa ayyi munqalabin yanqaliboona auto
No darkness can screen against Him. No unseen thing can hide itself against Him. There falls not a leaf nor a grain in the darkness but He knows it; there is no god save Him, nor anything green nor dry but it is all in a clear book. He knows what the doers do, which course they are taking, and to which direction they are turning.
تاریکی کسی چیز کو اس سےپوشیدہ نہیں کر سکتی کوئی اس سے اوجھل نہیں، درخت کا کوئی پتہ اور میوہ تاریکی میں نہیں گرتا مگر وہ اس سے باخبر ہے اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور نہیں کوئی خشک و تر مگر وہ روشن کتاب میں مذکور ہے وہ جانتا ہے عمل کرنے والے جو کچھ کرتے ہیں کس راہ پر چلتے ہیں اور کس جگہ ان کی بازگشت ہوتی ہے۔
وَنَسْتَهْدِي اللهَ بِالْهُدٰى وَنَشْهَدُ اَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهٗ وَنَبِيُّهٗ وَرَسُوْلُهٗ اِلٰى خَلْقِهٖ وَاَمِيْنُهٗ عَلٰى وَحْيِهٖ وَاَنَّهٗ قَدْ بَلَّغَ رِسَالَاتِ رَبِّهٖ وَجَاهَدَ فِي اللهِ الْحَائِدِيْنَ عَنْهُ الْعَادِلِيْنَ بِهٖ وَعَبَدَ اللهَ حَتّٰى اَتَاهُ الْيَقِيْنُ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهٖ وَسَلَّمَ
Wanastahdee allaaha billaahudaa wanashhadu anna muhammadan 'abduhoo wanabiyyuhoo warasooluhoo ilaa khalqihee waameenuhoo 'alaa wahyihee waannahoo qad ballagha risaalaati rabbihee wajaahada fee allaahi al-haa'ideena 'anhu al-'aadileena bihee wa'abada allaaha hattaa ataahu al-yaqeenu sallaa allaahu 'alayhi waaalihee wasallama auto
We seek from Allah the true guidance. We also bear witness that Muhammad is His servant, prophet, messenger to His creatures, and trustee on His revelations; and that he has conveyed perfectly the messages of his Lord, striven for the sake of Allah against those who swerved from Him and those who set up equals with him; and that he served Allah until death came upon him. May Allah send peace and blessings upon him and upon his Household.
ہم خدا سے ہدایت کے طالب ہیں اور گواہ ہیں کہ حضرت محمدؐ اس کے بندے اس کے نبیؐ اور رسولؐ ہیں اس کی مخلوق کے لئے وہ اس کی وحی کے امین ہیں اور یقیناً انہوں نے اپنے رب کا پیغام پہنچایا،انہوں نے خدا کے لئے مشرکوں اور گمراہوں سے کامل جہاد کیا اور خدا کی عبادت کرتے رہے یہاں تک کہ وفات پاگئے خدا ان پر اور ان کی آل ؑپر درود و سلام بھیجیے۔
اَوْصِيْكُمْ بِتَقْوَى اللهِ الَّذِيْ لَا تَبْرَحُ مِنْهُ نِعْمَةٌ وَلَا تَنْفَدُ مِنْهُ رَحْمَةٌ وَلَا يَسْتَغْنِي الْعِبَادُ عَنْهُ وَلَا يَجْزِيْ اَنْعُمَهُ الْاَعْمَالُ الَّذِيْ رَغَّبَ فِي التَّقْوٰى وَزَهَّدَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَحَذَّرَ الْمَعَاصِيْ وَتَعَزَّزَ بِالْبَقَاءِ وَذَلَّلَ خَلْقَهٗ بِالْمَوْتِ وَالْفَنَاءِ
Awseekum bitaqwaa allaahi allazee laa tabrahu minhu ni'matun walaa tanfadu minhu rahmatun walaa yastaghnee al-'ibaadu 'anhu walaa yajzee an'umahu al-a'maalu allazee raghghaba fee at-taqwaa wazahhada fee ad-dunyaa wahazzara al-ma'aasee wata'azzaza bil-baqaa'i wazallala khalqahoo bil-mawti wal-fanaa'i auto
I advise you (all) to be pious to Allah Whose bounties never cease, Whose mercy never runs out, with Whom the servants can never dispense, and Whose favors can never be recompensed by any deed. It is He Who has prompted piety, egged on abstinence from worldly pleasures, warned against acts of disobedience (to Him), brought almightiness to Himself through eternal existence, and humiliated His creatures by death and extinction.
میں تم کو خداسے ڈرنے کی وصیت کرتا ہوں کہ جس کی نعمت کو زوال نہیں جس کی رحمت کی انتہا نہیں بندے اس سے بے نیاز نہیں ہوسکتے اور ان کے اعمال اس کی نعمتوں کا بدلہ نہیں بن سکتےاسی نے تقویٰ کی طرف متوجہ کیا دنیا سےتعلق نہ جوڑنےکا حکم فرمایا گناہوں سے بچنےکی تعلیم دی وہ بقا کے ساتھ معزز ہے اس کی مخلوق موت اور فنا کے آگے پست ہے۔
وَالْمَوْتُ غَايَةُ الْمَخْلُوْقِيْنَ وَسَبِيْلُ الْعَالَمِيْنَ وَمَعْقُوْدٌ بِنَوَاصِي الْبَاقِيْنَ لَا يُعْجِزُهٗ اِبَاقُ الْهَارِبِيْنَ وَعِنْدَ حُلُوْلِهٖ يَاسِرُ اَهْلَ الْهَوٰى يَهْدِمُ كُلَّ لَذَّةٍ وَيُزِيْلُ كُلَّ نِعْمَةٍ وَيَقْطَعُ كُلَّ بَهْجَةٍ وَالدُّنْيَا دَارٌ كَتَبَ اللهُ لَهَا الْفَنَاءَ وَلَاَهْلِهَا مِنْهَا الْجَلَاءَ
Wal-mawtu ghaayatu al-makhlooqeena wasabeelu al-'aalameena wama'qoodun binawaasee al-baaqeena laa yu'jizuhoo ibaaqu allaahaaribeena wa'inda huloolihee yaasiru ahla allaahawaa yahdimu kulla lazzatin wayuzeelu kulla ni'matin wayaqta'u kulla bahjatin wad-dunyaa daarun kataba allaahu lahaa al-fanaa'a walaahlihaa minhaa al-jalaa'a auto
Death is thus the end of all created beings, the course taken by all the worlds, and it is marked on the foreheads of all the living ones. It cannot be defeated by the running away of the fugitive. When it befalls, it captures the people of lustful desires, demolishes all pleasures, moves away all bounties, and cuts off all delights. This world is an abode upon which Allah has decided extinction and upon whose inhabitants He has decided banishment.
ہر مخلوق کی منزلِ آخر موت ہے یہ اہل ِجہان کا راستہ ہے موت زندوں کی پیشانی پر ثبت ہے بھاگنے والے اس کے قابو سے نکل نہیں سکتے موت کے وقت اہل ِحرص ذلیل ہوں گے موت ہرلذت چھین لے گی، ہر نعمت سے محروم کردے گی اور ہرخوشی کا خاتمہ کردے گی دنیا ایسا گھر ہے جس کے لئے خدا نے فنا لکھ دی اور دنیا والوں کو دنیا چھوڑ جانا ہے۔
فَاَكْثَرُهُمْ يَنْوِيْ بَقَاءَهَا وَيُعَظِّمُ بَنَاءَهَا وَهِيَ حُلْوَةٌ خَضِرَةٌ قَدْ عُجِّلَتْ لِلطَّالِبِ وَالْتَبَسَتْ بِقَلْبِ النَّاظِرِ وَيُضْنِيْ ذُو الثَّرْوَةِ الضَّعِيْفَ وَيَحْتَوِيْهَا الْخَائِفُ الْوَجِلُ فَارْتَحِلُوْا مِنْهَا يَرْحَمْكُمُ اللهُ بِاَحْسَنِ مَا بِحَضْرَتِكُمْ
Faaktharuhum yanwee baqaa'ahaa wayu'azzimu banaa'ahaa wahiya hulwatun khadiratun qad 'ujjilat lit-taalibi wal-tabasat biqalbi an-naaziri wayudnee zoo ath-tharwati ad-da'eefa wayahtaweehaa al-khaa'ifu al-wajilu fartahiloo minhaa yarhamkumu allaahu biahsani maa bihadratikum auto
Nevertheless, most of them intend to survive forever and to consolidate its construction. It is yet sweet and fresh. It has been speeded up for that who desires for it and it has confused the heart of him who looks on it. In it, the wealthy are tiring up the weak and the afraid and fearful are trying to include it wholly. So, try to leave it may Allah have mercy upon you carrying the best of what is with you.
پھر بھی بہت سےلوگ ہمیشہ یہاں رہنا چاہتے ہیں وہ بڑے محل بناتے ہیں یہ دنیاطالب ِدنیا کے لئے شیریں ہے اور جلد گزر جاتی ہے لیکن صاحبان ِنظر کے لئے یہ مقام ِفریب ہے یہاں مال دار غریبوں سے ہاتھ کھینچتے ہیں لیکن خداترس لوگ دنیا سے نفرت کرتے ہیں پس جلد دنیا چھوڑ جاؤ خدا رحم کرے تم پر کہ بہترین عمل کرتے ہو۔
وَلَا تَطْلُبُوْا مِنْهَا اَكْثَرَ مِنَ الْقَلِيْلِ وَلَا تَسْاَلُوْا مِنْهَا فَوْقَ الْكَفَافِ وَارْضَوْا مِنْهَا بِالْيَسِيْرِ وَلَا تُمُدُّنَّ اَعْيُنَكُمْ مِنْهَا اِلٰى مَا مُتِّعَ الْمُتْرَفُوْنَ بِهٖ وَاسْتَهِيْنُوْا بِهَا وَلَا تُوَطِّنُوْهَا وَاَضِرُّوْا بِاَنْفُسِكُمْ فِيْهَا
Walaa tatluboo minhaa akthara mina al-qaleeli walaa tasaloo minhaa fawqa al-kafaafi wardaw minhaa bil-yaseeri walaa tumuddunna a'yunakum minhaa ilaa maa mutti'a al-mutrafoona bihee wastaheenoo bihaa walaa tuwattinoohaa waadirroo bianfusikum feehaa auto
Do not seek more than the little of it. Do not ask it for more than sufficiency. Satisfy yourself with the little amount of it. Do not strain your eyes after that through which the luxurious have been given enjoyment. Rather, belittle it, do not stick to it, and be vigilant against it.
اس کمتر دنیا سے زیادہ کی طلب نہ کرو اپنی ضرورت سےزیادہ کا سوال نہ کرو اور کم مقدار پر راضی رہوتمہاری آنکھیں دنیا کی ان چیزوں پر نہ لگیں جوسرمایہ داروں نے فراہم کیں تم انہیں کچھ اہمیت نہ دو بلکہ تم اس کو اپنا وطن نہ بناؤ کہ یہاں خسارہ اٹھاؤ گے۔
وَاِيَّاكُمْ وَالتَّنَعُّمَ وَالتَّلَهِّيَ وَالْفَاكِهَاتِ فَاِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ غَفْلَةً وَاغْتِرَارًا اَلَا اِنَّ الدُّنْيَا قَدْ تَنَكَّرَتْ وَاَدْبَرَتْ وَاحْلَوْلَتْ وَآذَنَتْ بِوَدَاعٍ اَلَا وَاِنَّ الْآخِرَةَ قَدْ رَحَلَتْ فَاَقْبَلَتْ وَاَشْرَفَتْ وَآذَنَتْ بِاطِّلَاعٍ اَلَا وَاِنَّ الْمِضْمَارَ الْيَوْمَ وَالسِّبَاقَ غَدًا
Waiyyaakum wat-tana''uma wat-talahhiya wal-faakihaati fainna fee zaalika ghaflatan waghtiraaran alaa inna ad-dunyaa qad tanakkarat waadbarat wahlawlat waaazanat biwadaa'in alaa wainna al-aakhirata qad rahalat faaqbalat waashrafat waaazanat bittilaa'in alaa wainna al-midmaara al-yawma was-sibaaqa ghadan auto
Beware of throwing yourselves into enjoyment, diversion, and joking, because these things lead to inattention and deception. Verily, the world has been confusing, has turned away, expired, and bid farewell. While the Hereafter has been imminent, has approached, overlooked, and declared arrival. Verily, the racetrack is this day and the race will be tomorrow.
اور ایسا نہ ہوکہ اس کی نعمتوں اور رونقوں میں محو ہوجاؤ کیوں کہ وہ غفلت اور دھوکےکی جگہ ہے آگاہ رہوکہ دنیا نے اپنے چاہنے والوں سے بے وفائی کی ان سے منہ موڑ لیا ان کو موت دی اور وداع کردیاسمجھ لو کہ بے شک آخرت تمہاری طرف بڑھی تمہیں خوش آمدید کہا تمہیں عزّت دی اور تمہارے پہنچنے کا اعلان کیا یاد رکھو آج آزمائش کا دن ہے اور کل ایک دوسرےسے سبقت لے جانے کا دن ہوگا۔
اَلَا وَاِنَّ السُّبْقَةَ الْجَنَّةُ وَالْغَايَةَ النَّارُ اَلَا اَفَلَا تَائِبٌ مِّنْ خَطِيْئَتِهٖ قَبْلَ يَوْمِ مَنِيَّتِهٖ؟ اَلَا عَامِلٌ لِّنَفْسِهٖ قَبْلَ يَوْمِ بُؤْسِهٖ وَفَقْرِهٖ؟ جَعَلَنَا اللهُ وَاِيَّاكُمْ مِمَّنْ يَّخَافُهٗ وَيَرْجُوْ ثَوَابَهٗ اَلَا اِنَّ هٰذَا الْيَوْمَ يَوْمٌ جَعَلَهُ اللهُ لَكُمْ عِيْدًا وَجَعَلَكُمْ لَهٗ اَهْلًا
Alaa wainna as-subqata al-jannatu wal-ghaayata an-naaru alaa afalaa taa'ibun min khatee'atihee qabla yawmi maniyyatihee?
Alaa 'aamilun linafsihee qabla yawmi bu'sihee wafaqrihee?
Ja'alanaa allaahu waiyyaakum mimman yakhaafuhoo wayarjoo thawaabahoo alaa inna haazaa al-yawma yawmun ja'alahu allaahu lakum 'eedan waja'alakum lahoo ahlan auto
Verily, the prize of the winner will be Paradise while the losers’ will be Hellfire. Is there now any one to repent from his sins before the day of his death? Is there now any one to work for himself before the day of misery and neediness? May Allah include you and us with those who fear Him and hope for His reward. Behold! This day has been made feast for you by Allah Who has also made you celebrate it.
جان لو اطاعت میں سبقت سے جنت اورنافرمانی میں جہنم ہے ہاں تو کوئی ایسا نہیں جو موت سے پہلے اپنے گناہوں سے توبہ کرلے آیا کوئی نہیں جو تنگی اور بے کسی کے دن سے پہلے اپنے لئے نیک عمل کرےخدا نے ہمیں اور تمہیں ان لوگوں میں رکھا جو اس سے ڈرتے اور امیدِ ثواب رکھتے ہیں بے شک آج کا دن خدا نے تمہارے لئے یوم ِعید بنایا اور تم کو عید کا حق دار قرار دیا ہے۔
فَاذْكُرُوا اللهَ يَذْكُرْكُمْ وَادْعُوْهٗ يَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ وَاَدُّوْا فِطْرَتَكُمْ فَاِنَّهَا سُنَّةُ نَبِيِّكُمْ وَفَرِيْضَةٌ وَاجِبَةٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّكُمْ فَلْيُؤَدِّهَا كُلُّ امْرِئٍ مِّنْكُمْ عَنْهُ وَعَنْ عِيَالِهٖ كُلِّهِمْ ذَكَرِهِمْ وَاَنْثَاهُمْ وَصَغِيْرِهِمْ وَكَبِيْرِهِمْ وَحُرِّهِمْ وَمَمْلُوْكِهِمْ
Fazkuroo allaaha yazkurkum wad'oohoo yastajib lakum waaddoo fitratakum fainnahaa sunnatu nabiyyikum wafareedatun waajibatun min rabbikum fal-yu'addihaa kullu amri'in minkum 'anhu wa'an 'iyaalihee kullihim zakarihim waanthaahum wasagheerihim wakabeerihim wahurrihim wamamlookihim auto
So, remember Allah, He will remember you; and pray Him, He will respond to you. Defray your fast breaking poor-rate, for this is the tradition of Your Prophet and it is a duty made obligatory by your Lord. Each and every individual must thus defray it on behalf of himself and all of his dependants; male and female, little and old, and free and slave.
پس خداکویاد کرو کہ وہ بھی تمہیں یاد کرے اس سے دعا مانگو کہ وہ اسے قبول فرمائے اپنا اپنا فطرہ ادا کرو کہ یہ تمہارے نبیؐ کی سنت اور تمہارے رب کی طرف سے لازم کردہ فرض ہے پس تم میں سے ہر شخص زکوٰۃ فطرہ ادا کرے اپنی طرف سے اپنے سبھی اہلِ خانہ کی طرف سے ہر مرداور عورت ہر چھوٹے بڑے اوران میں سے ہر آزاد اور غلام کی طرف سے۔
عَنْ كُلِّ اِنْسَانٍ مِّنْهُمْ صَاعًا مِّنْۢ بُرٍّ اَوْ صَاعًا مِّنْ تَمْرٍ اَوْ صَاعًا مِّنْ شَعِيْرٍ وَاَطِيْعُوا اللهَ فِيْ مَا فَرَضَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَاَمَرَكُمْ بِهٖ مِنْ اِقَامِ الصَّلَاةِ وَاِيْتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ وَحِجِّ الْبَيْتِ وَصَوْمِ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ وَالْاَمْرِ بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ وَالنَّهْيِ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَالْاِحْسَانِ اِلٰى نِسَائِكُمْ وَمَا مَلَكَتْ اَيْمَانُكُمْ
'an kulli insaanin minhum saa'an min burrin aw saa'an min tamrin aw saa'an min sha'eerin waatee'oo allaaha fee maa farada 'alaykum waamarakum bihee min iqaami as-salaati waeetaa'i az-zakaati wahijji al-bayti wasawmi shahri ramadaana wal-amri bil-ma'roofi wan-nahyi 'ani al-munkari wal-ihsaani ilaa nisaa'ikum wamaa malakat aymaanukum auto
For each individual, a measure of wheat, a measure of dates, or a measure of barley should be defrayed. Obey Allah in what He has deemed obligatory upon you and ordered you to do, such as performing of the prayers, defrayment of the poor-rate, going on pilgrimage to the (Holy) House, observance of fasting in the month of Ramazan, enjoining the right, forbidding the wrong, and acting nicely towards your women and those possessed by your right hands (i.e. servants).
ایک آدمی پرتین کلو کی مقدار میں گندم یا تین کلو کھجوریں یا تین کلو جَو ضرور دےاور خدا کی اطاعت کرو اس میں جو اس نے تم پر لازم کیا اور حکم دیا جیسے پابندیِٔ نماز ادائے زکوٰۃ حجِ بیت اﷲاور ماہِ رمضان کے روزے نیزنیکی کی ترغیب دینااور بدی سے روکنا مزید یہ کہ اپنی عورتوں اور اپنے مملوکہ غلاموں سے اچھا برتاؤ کرنا۔
وَاَطِيْعُوا اللهَ فِيْ مَا نَهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ مِنْ قَذْفِ الْمُحْصَنَةِ وَاِتْيَانِ الْفَاحِشَةِ وَشُرْبِ الْخَمْرِ وَبَخْسِ الْمِكْيَالِ وَنَقْصِ الْمِيْزَانِ وَشَهَادَةِ الزُّوْرِ وَالْفَرَارِ مِنَ الزَّحْفِ عَصَمَنَا اللهُ وَاِيَّاكُمْ بِالتَّقْوٰى وَجَعَلَ الْآخِرَةَ خَيْرًا لَّنَا وَلَكُمْ مِنَ الْاَوْلٰى اِنَّ اَحْسَنَ الْحَدِيْثِ وَاَبْلَغَ مَوْعِظَةِ الْمُتَّقِيْنَ كِتَابُ اللهِ الْعَزِيْزِ الْحَكِيْمِ۔ اَعُوْذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيْمِ۔
Waatee'oo allaaha fee maa nahaakum 'anhu min qazfi al-muhsanati waityaani al-faahishati washurbi al-khamri wabakhsi al-mikyaali wanaqsi al-meezaani washahaadati az-zoori wal-faraari mina az-zahfi 'asamanaa allaahu waiyyaakum bit-taqwaa waja'ala al-aakhirata khayran lanaa walakum mina al-awlaa inna ahsana al-hadeethi waablagha maw'izati al-muttaqeena kitaabu allaahi al-'azeezi al-hakeemi.
A'oozu billaahi mina ash-shaytaani ar-rajeemi. auto
Obey Allah with regard to what He has prohibited you to do, such as accusing a free woman falsely, committing acts of indecency, drinking intoxicants, diminishing the measures, giving short weights in scales, swearing falsely, and absconding from battles. May Allah safeguard you and us through piety and may He decide the Hereafter to be better for you and us than the worldly life. Certainly, the most excellent discourse and the most eloquent preachment for the pious is the Book of Allah the Almighty and All-wise. I seek protection of Allah against Satan the accursed.
اور خدا کی اطاعت کروجن چیزوں سے اس نے روکا ہےیعنی شریف عورت پر تہمت لگانے، برے کام انجام دینے، شراب خوری کرنے،،چیزیں کم ناپنے اور کم تولنے نیز جھوٹی گواہی دینے اور جنگ سے فرار کوخدا نے روکا ہے خدا ہمیں اور تمہیں تقویٰ کا پابند بنائے اور ہمارے تمہارے لئے آخرت کو دنیا سے بہتر قراردے بے شک پرہیزگاروں کے لئے عمدہ کلام اور دل نشین نصیحت اس خدا کی کتاب ہے جو زبردست اورحکمت والا ہے میں پناہ لیتا ہوں خدا کی دھتکارےہوئے شیطان سے۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
قُلْ هُوَ اللهُ اَحَدٌ۔ اَللهُ الصَّمَدُ۔ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُوْلَدْ۔ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهٗ كُفُوًا اَحَدٌ۔
Qul huwa allaahu ahadun.
Allaahu as-samadu.
Lam yalid walam yoolad.
Walam yakun lahoo kufuwan ahadun. auto
Say: He, Allah, is One. Allah is He on Whom all depend. He begets not, nor is He begotten. And none is like Him.
کہہ دو کہ وہ اﷲ ایک ہے اﷲ بے نیاز ہے نہ اس نے کسی کو جنا نہ وہ جنا گیا اور نہ کوئی اس کا ہمسر ہے۔
2nd Sermon
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ نَحْمَدُهٗ وَنَسْتَعِيْنُهٗ وَنُؤْمِنُ بِهٖ وَنَتَوَكَّلُ عَلَيْهِ وَنَشْهَدُ اَنْ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهٗ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهٗ وَاَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهٗ وَرَسُوْلُهٗ صَلَوَاتُ اللهِ وَسَلَامُهٗ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهٖ وَمَغْفِرَتُهٗ وَرِضْوَانُهٗ۔
Al-hamdu lillaahi nahmaduhoo wanasta'eenuhoo wanu'minu bihee wanatawakkalu 'alayhi wanashhadu an laa allaaha illaa allaahu wahdahoo laa shareeka lahoo waanna muhammadan 'abduhoo warasooluhoo salawaatu allaahi wasalaamuhoo 'alayhi waaalihee wamaghfiratuhoo waridwaanuhoo. auto
All praise be to Allah. We praise Him, seek His help, believe in Him, and put our trust in Him. We also bear witness that there is no god save Allah; One and Only and having no partner, and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger. Allah’s blessings and benedictions be upon him and his Household. So be His forgiveness and pleasure.
حمد خدا کے لئے ہے ہم اس کی حمدکرتے ہیں اس سے مدد مانگتے ہیں ہم اس پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں اور اسی پر بھروسہ کرتے ہیں اور ہم گواہ ہیں کہ اﷲ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں وہ یکتا ہے کوئی اس کا شریک نہیں اور یہ کہ حضرت محمد ؐ اس کے بندے و رسولؐ ہیں ان پر اور ان کی آل ؑپر خدا کادرود وسلام ہو نیز اس کی بخشش اور خوشنودی حاصل رہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُوْلِكَ وَنَبِيِّكَ صَلَاةً تَامَّةً نَامِيَةً زَاكِيَةً تَرْفَعُ بِهَا دَرَجَتَهٗ وَتُبَيِّنُ بِهَا فَضِيْلَتَهٗ وَصَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَبَارِكْ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ وَبَارَكْتَ وَتَرَحَّمْتَ عَلٰى اِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَآلِ اِبْرَاهِيْمَ اِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَّجِيْدٌ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin 'abdika warasoolika wanabiyyika salaatan taammatan naamiyatan zaakiyatan tarfa'u bihaa darajatahoo watubayyinu bihaa fadeelatahoo wasalli 'alaa muhammadin waaali muhammadin wabaarik 'alaa muhammadin waaali muhammadin kamaa sallayta wabaarakta watarahhamta 'alaa ibraaheema waaali ibraaheema innaka hameedun majeedun. auto
O Allah, (please) bless Muhammad Your servant, messenger, and prophet, with blessings that are perfect, ever-increasing, and ever-growing, due to which You raise his rank and make known His excellence. And (please) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and send benedictions to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad just as You sent blessings, benedictions, and mercy to Abraham and the household of Abraham. You are verily worthy of all praise and full of all glory.
اے معبود! حضرت محمدؐ پر رحمت فرماجو تیرے بندے تیرے رسولؑ اور تیرے نبیؐ ہیں ایسی رحمت جو بڑھنے والی اورپاکیزہ ہوجس سے ان کا مرتبہ بلندہو اور ان کی بڑائی ظاہر ہو اور محمدؐ وآلؑ محمدؐپر رحمت فرما اور محمدؐ وآل محمدؐ پر برکت نازل کر جیسے تو نے رحمت فرمائی، برکت نازل کی اور مہربانی کی ابراہیمؑ اور آل ابراہیمؑ پربے شک تو تعریف والا ہےاور شان والاہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ عَذِّبْ كَفَرَةَ اَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ الَّذِيْنَ يَصُدُّوْنَ عَنْ سَبِيْلِكَ وَيَجْحَدُوْنَ آيَاتِكَ وَيُكَذِّبُوْنَ رُسُلَكَ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ خَالِفْ بَيْنَ كَلِمَتِهِمْ وَاَلْقِ الرُّعْبَ فِيْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ وَاَنْزِلْ عَلَيْهِمْ رِجْزَكَ وَنَقِمَتَكَ وَبَاَسَكَ الَّذِيْ لَا تَرُدُّهٗ عَنِ الْقَوْمِ الْمُجْرِمِيْنَ۔
Allaahumma 'azzib kafarata ahli al-kitaabi allazeena yasuddoona 'an sabeelika wayajhadoona aayaatika wayukazziboona rusulaka.
Allaahumma khaalif bayna kalimatihim wal-qi ar-ru'ba fee quloobihim waanzil 'alayhim rijzaka wanaqimataka wabaasaka allazee laa tarudduhoo 'ani al-qawmi al-mujrimeena. auto
O Allah, chastise the infidels from among the Scripturists who hinder people from Your way, deny Your signs, and belie Your Messengers. O Allah, bring into discord their words, cast horror in their hearts, and send down upon them Your pestilence, punishment, and wrath that is not averted from the guilty people.
اے معبود!اہل ِکتاب میں سے کافروں پر عذاب بھیج کہ جو تیرے راستےپر آنے والوں کو روکتے ہیں تیری آیتوں کا انکار کرتے ہیں اور تیرے پیغمبروؑں کوجھٹلاتے ہیں اے معبود! ان کے عقائد میں اختلاف ڈال دے ان کے دلوں پر مسلمانوں کا رعب جمادےاور ان کو سزا دے ان سے بدلہ لے اور ان پر سختی لے آ کہ جسے تو گناہگار لوگوں سے ہر گزدور نہیں کرتا۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ انْصُرْ جُيُوْشَ الْمُسْلِمِيْنَ وَسَرَايَاهُمْ وَمُرَابِطِيْهِمْ فِيْ مَشَارِقِ الْاَرْضِ وَمَغَارِبِهَا اِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَالْمُسْلِمِيْنَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ۔
Allaahumma ansur juyoosha al-muslimeena wasaraayaahum wamuraabiteehim fee mashaariqi al-ardi wamaghaaribihaa innaka 'alaa kulli shay'in qadeerun.
Allaahumma aghfir lil-mu'mineena wal-mu'minaati wal-muslimeena wal-muslimaati. auto
O Allah, give victory to the armies, brigades, and troops of Muslims in the east and west sides of the earth. Verily, You have power over all things. O Allah, (please) forgive the believing men and women and the Muslim men and women.
اے معبود!مسلمانوں کے لشکروں ان کے فوجی دستوں اورسرحدوں کے نگہبانوں کی زمین کے مشرقوں اور مغربوں میں مدد فرما بے شک تو ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھتا ہے اے معبود! مومنین اور مومنات کو بخش دے اور مسلمان مردوں اور مسلمان عورتوں کو بخش دے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلِ التَّقْوٰى زَادَهُمْ وَالْاِيِـمَانَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ فِيْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ وَاَوْزِعْهُمْ اَنْ يَّشْكُرُوْا نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي اَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَاَنْ يُوْفُوْا بِعَهْدِكَ الَّذِيْ عَاهَدْتَهُمْ عَلَيْهِ اِلٰهَ الْحَقِّ وَخَالِقَ الْخَلْقِ۔
Allaahumma aj'ali at-taqwaa zaadahum wal-iyimaana wal-hikmata fee quloobihim waawzi'hum an yashkuroo ni'mataka allatee an'amta 'alayhim waan yoofoo bi'ahdika allazee 'aahadtahum 'alayhi allaaha al-haqqi wakhaaliqa al-khalqi. auto
O Allah, (please) cause piety to be their provisions, fix faith and wisdom in their hearts, and arouse them to be thankful for Your bliss that You have bestowed upon them and to fulfill their covenant that they have made with You. O God of the truth and Creator of all creatures!
اے معبود!تقویٰ کو ان کاتوشہ وسامانِ سفر قرار دے ایمان و حکمت،ان کے دلوں میں محکم کردے اور ان کو توفیق دےکہ وہ تیری نعمتوں پر شکرکریں جو تو نے ان کو دی ہیں وہ اس عہد وپیمان کو پورا کریں جو تو نے ان سے کر رکھا ہے تو سچا معبود اور مخلوقات کاپیدا کرنے والا۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِمَنْ تُوُفِّيَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَالْمُسْلِمِيْنَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ وَلِمَنْ هُوَ لَاحِقٌۢ بِهِمْ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ مِنْهُمْ اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْعَزِيْزُ الْحَكِيْمُ اِنَّ اللهَ يَاَمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَالْاِحْسَانِ وَاِيْتَاءِ ذِي الْقُرْبٰى وَيَنْهٰى عَنِ الْفَحْشَاءِ وَالْمُنْكَرِ وَالْبَغْيِ يَعِظُكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُوْنَ۔
Allaahumma aghfir liman tuwuffiya mina al-mu'mineena wal-mu'minaati wal-muslimeena wal-muslimaati waliman huwa laahiqun bihim min ba'dihim minhum innaka anta al-'azeezu al-hakeemu inna allaaha yaamuru bil-'adli wal-ihsaani waeetaa'i zee al-qurbaa wayanhaa 'ani al-fahshaa'i wal-munkari wal-baghyi ya'izukum la'allakum tazakkaroona. auto
O Allah, (please) forgive all those who were taken (by You) from the believing men and women and Muslim men and women as well as everyone who shall join them (in faith) after them. Verily, You are the Almighty and All-wise. “Surely, Allah enjoins the doing of justice, the doing of good (to others), and the giving to the kindred; and He forbids indecency, evil, and rebellion. He admonishes you that you may be mindful.”
اے معبود! ان کے گناہ معاف کردے جو مومنین اور مومنات اور مسلمان مردوں اور مسلمان عورتوں میں سے وفات پاگئے اور ان کے بھی جوان کے بعد وفات پاکر ان سے جاملیں گے بے شک توغلبے والااور حکمت والا ہے بے شک اللہ حکم دیتا ہے انصاف اور نیکی کا اورعزیزوں کا حق دینے کا اور وہ روکتا ہےبے حیائی،ناروا کاموں اورسرکشی سے وہ تمہیں سمجھاتا ہے شاید کہ تم نصیحت حاصل کرو۔
اَذْكُرُوا اللهَ يَذْكُرْكُمْ فَاِنَّهٗ ذَاكِرٌ لِّمَنْ ذَكَرَهٗ وَاسْاَلُوا اللهَ مِنْ رَّحْمَتِهٖ وَفَضْلِهٖ فَاِنَّهٗ لَا يَخِيْبُ عَلَيْهِ دَاعٍ دَعَاهٗ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَّفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَّقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ۔
Azkuroo allaaha yazkurkum fainnahoo zaakirun liman zakarahoo wasaloo allaaha min rahmatihee wafadlihee fainnahoo laa yakheebu 'alayhi daa'in da'aahoo rabbanaa aatinaa fee ad-dunyaa hasanatan wafee al-aakhirati hasanatan waqinaa 'azaaba an-naari. auto
Remember Allah, He will remember you. Verily, He always remembers those who remember him. Ask Allah of His mercy and grace, for any prayer that is said to Him shall never be disappointed. Our Lord, grant us good in this world and good in the hereafter and save us from the chastisement of the fire.
تم خداکویاد کرو کہ وہ تمہیں یاد کرے کہ وہ اسے یاد کرتا ہے جو اسے یاد کرے خداسے سوال کرو اس کی رحمت اور عنایت کا کیوں کہ وہ اسے ناکام نہیں کرتا جو اسے پکارتا ہے اے ہمارے رب! ہمیں دنیا میں بہترین زندگی دے آخرت میں بہترین جزا دے اورہمیں عذاب ِجہنم سے بچالے۔
