When the twilight sets, you may utter the adhan and iqamah statements for the Evening Prayer, observing all the aforesaid etiquettes. You may then perform the Evening Prayer, observing all of its etiquettes and meeting all of its conditions. It is highly advisable to prolong the Qunoot in this prayer and the post-prayer utterances, because there is enough time to do so. Accordingly, you may say all the supplications of mornings and evenings as well as all supplications dedicated to evenings, which are numerous. One of these is the sustenance-seeking supplication. It is also recommended to recite Surah Qadr 7 times and then say the following supplicatory prayer…
پھر جب مغرب کی سرخی زائل ہو جائے تو آداب و شرائط کے ساتھ نماز عشاء کے لیے اذان و اقامت کہے اور آداب و شرائط کی پابندی کرتے ہوئے نماز عشاء ادا کرے ، مناسب ہے کہ اس نماز کے قنوت اور اس کی تعقیبات کو بھی طول دے کہ اس کے لئے وقت کے دامن میں کافی وسعت ہوتی ہے۔ لہذا تعقیبات میں صبح سے شام تک کے درمیانی وقت کے لئے مشترکہ تعقیبات اور دعائیں پڑھے ، پھر نماز عشاء کی مختصر دعائیں پڑھے کہ ان کی قدر و قیمت بہت زیادہ ہے ان میں وہ دعا بھی ہے جو طلب رزق کے لئے ہے، یہ بھی مستحب ہے کہ ۷ مرتبہ سورۂ قدر کی تلاوت کرے اور پھر کہے۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنَّہٗ لَیْسَ لِیْ عِلْمٌۢ بِمَوْضِعِ رِزْقِیْ وَاِنَّمَا اَطْلُبُہٗ بِخَطَرَاتٍ تَخْطُرُ عَلٰی قَلْبِیْ فَاَجُوْلُ فِیْ طَلَبِہِ الْبُلْدَانَ فَاَنَا فِیْمَآ اَنَا طَالِبٌ كَالْحَیْرَانِ لَا اَدْرِیْ اَفِیْ سَھْلٍ ھُوَ اَمْ فِیْ جَبَلٍ اَمْ فِیْ اَرْضٍ اَمْ فِیْ سَمَآءٍ اَمْ فِیْ بَرٍّ اَمْ فِیْ بَحْرٍ وَّعَلٰی یَدَیْ مَنْ وَّمِنْ قِبَلِ مَنْ وَّقَدْ عَلِمْتُ اَنَّ عِلْمَہٗ عِنْدَكَ وَاَسْبَابَہٗ بِیَدِكَ وَاَنْتَ الَّذِیْ تَقْسِمُہٗ بِلُطْفِكَ وَتُسَبِّبُہٗ بِرَحْمَتِكَ۔
اَللّٰھُمَّ فَصَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِہٖ وَاجْعَلْ یَارَبِّ رِزْقَكَ لِیْ وَاسِعًا وَمَطْلَبَہٗ سَھْلًا وَمَاخَذَہٗ قَرِیْبًا وَّلَا تُعَنِّنِیْ بِطَلَبِ مَا لَمْ تُقَدِّرْ لِیْ فِیْہِ رِزْقًا فَاِنَّكَ غَنِیٌّ عَنْ عَذَابِیْ وَاَنَا فَقِیْرٌ اِلٰی رَحْمَتِكَ فَصَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِہٖ وَجُدْ عَلٰی عَبْدِكَ بِفَضْلِكَ اِنَّكَ ذُوْ فَضْلٍ عَظِیْمٍ۔
Allaahumma innahoo laysa lee 'ilmun bimawdi'i rizqee wa-innamaa atlubuhoo bikhataraatin takhturu 'alaa qalbee fa-ajoolu fee talabihi al-buldaana fa-anaa feemaa anaa taalibun kal-hayraani laa adree afee sahlin huwa am fee jabalin am fee ardin am fee samaa'in am fee barrin am fee bahrin wa'alaa yaday man wamin qibali man waqad 'alimtu anna 'ilmahoo 'indaka wa-asbaabahoo biyadika wa-anta allazee taqsimuhoo bilutfika watusabbibuhoo birahmatik.
Allaahumma fasalli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aalihee waj'al yaa rabbi rizqaka lee waasi'an wamatlabahoo sahlan wamaakhazahoo qareeban walaa tu'anninee bitalabi maa lam tuqaddir lee feehi rizqan fa-innaka ghaniyyun 'an 'azaabee wa-anaa faqeerun ilaa rahmatika fasalli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aalihee wajud 'alaa 'abdika bifadlika innaka zoo fadlin 'azeem.
O Allah! surely, I have no knowledge of the main source of my subsistence, and I seek it only through the passing thoughts that come to my heart, and I wander about in cities searching for it, and I am perplexed in regard to what I search for. I do not know whether it is in a valley or in the mountains, in the earth or in the heavens, in the continent or in the sea, and in whose hands it is, and from whom it is. And surely I know that Thou hast its Knowledge, and its sources are in Thy hand, and Thou alone distributes it by Thy kindness, and creates opportunities through Thy mercy. O Allah therefore bless Muhammad and his progeny; and O Lord! increase my sustenance, apportioned by Thee, and make easy to search and the source near; and do not make me strive in the search of what Thou hast not decreed from my sustenance. For, surely: Thou art indifferent to chastise me and I need Thy mercy. Bless Muhammad and his progeny and by Thy grace show generosity to Thy slave, surely Thou art the most generous.
خداوند ا! مجھے اپنی روزی کے مقام کا علم نہیں اور میں اسے اپنے خیال کے تحت ڈھونڈتا ہوں پس میں طلبِ رزق میں شہر ودیار کے چکر کاٹتا ہوں پس میں جس کی طلب میں ہوں اس میں حیران و سرگرداں ہوں اور میں نہیں جانتا کہ آیا میرا رزق صحرا میں ہے یا پہاڑ میں زمین میں ہے یا آسمان میں، خشکی میں ہے یا تری میں، کس کے ہاتھ اور کس کی طرف سے ہے اور میں جانتا ہوں کہ اس کا علم تیرے پاس ہے اس کے اسباب تیرے قبضے میں ہیں اور تو اپنے کرم سے رزق تقسیم کرتا ہے اپنی رحمت سے اس کے اسباب فراہم کرتا ہے۔ خدایا!محمدؐ وآل محمدؑ پر رحمت نازل فرما اور اے پروردگار! اپنا رزق میرے لئے وسیع کر دے اس کا طلب کرنا آسان بنا دے اور اس کے ملنے کی جگہ قریب کر دے جس چیز میں تو نے رزق نہیں رکھا مجھے اس کی طلب کے رنج میں نہ ڈال کہ تو مجھے عذاب دینے سے بے نیاز ہے میں تیری رحمت کا محتاج ہوں پس محمدؐوآل محمدؐ پر رحمت فرما اور اس ناچیز بندے کواپنے فضل سے حصہ عطا فرما کہ تو بڑا فضل کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
You may then pray Almighty Allah for anything you wish. You may thereafter do the thanksgiving prostration after which you may offer the Wutayrah Prayer, which is a supererogatory prayer that is offered in the sitting position after the Isha Prayer and consisting of 2 units of prayer in both of which it is recommended to recite 100 verses of the Holy Qur’an. It is therefore preferable to recite Surah Fateha and Surah Waaqe’a in the first unit and Surah Fateha and Surah Ikhlaas in the second. اس کے بعد جو دعا چاہے مانگے اور پھر سجدہ شکر بجا لائے، اس کے بعد ۲ رکعت نماز وتیرہ ادا کرے اور وہ ۲ رکعت نافلہ ہے جو فریضہ عشاء کے بعد بیٹھ کر پڑھی جاتی ہے۔ مستحب ہے کہ نماز وتیرہ میں قرآن مجید کی ۱۰۰ آیات پڑھی جائیں اور بہتر ہے کہ پہلی رکعت میں سورۂ فاتحہ کے بعد سورۂ واقعہ اور دوسری رکعت میں سورۂ فاتحہ کے بعد سورۂ اخلاص پڑھے اور نماز کا سلام دینے کے بعد جو چاہے دعا مانگے۔۔۔

اَللّٰهُمَّ رَبَّ السَّمٰوَاتِ السَّبْعِ وَمَا اَظَلَّتْ وَرَبَّ الْاَرَضِيْنَ السَّبْعِ وَمَا اَقَلَّتْ وَرَبَّ الشَّيَاطِيْنِ وَمَا اَضَلَّتْ وَرَبَّ الرِّيَاحِ وَمَا ذَرَتْ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ رَبَّ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَاِلٰهَ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَمَلِيْكَ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ اَنْتَ اللهُ الْمُقْتَدِرُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ اَنْتَ اللهُ الْاَوَّلُ فَلَا شَىْءَ قَبْلَكَ وَاَنْتَ الْآخِرُ فَلَا شَىْءَ بَعْدَكَ وَاَنْتَ الظَّاهِرُ فَلَا شَىْءَ فَوْقَكَ وَاَنْتَ الْبَاطِنُ فَلَا شَىْءَ دُوْنَكَ رَبَّ جَبْرَئِيْلَ وَمِيْكَآئِيْلَ وَاِسْرَافِيْلَ وَاِلٰهَ اِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَاِسْمٰعِيْلَ وَاِسْحٰقَ ويَعْقُوْبَ وَالْاَسْبَاطِ۔
اَسْئَلُكَ اَنْ تُصَلِّىَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاَنْ تَوَلَّانِىْ بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَلَا تُسَلِّطَ عَلَىَّ اَحَدًا مِنْ خَلْقِكَ مِمَّنْ لَاطَاقَةَ لِىْ بِهٖ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَتَحَبَّبُ اِلَيْكَ فَحَبِّبْنِىْ وَفِى النَّاسِ فَعَزِّزْنِىْ وَمِنْ شَرِّ الشَّيَاطِيْنِ الْجِنِّ وَالْاِنْسِ فَسَلِّمْنِىْ يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ وَصَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِهٖ۔
Allaahumma rabba as-samaawaati as-sab'i wamaa azallat warabba al-aradeena as-sab'i wamaa aqallat warabba ash-shayaateeni wamaa adallat warabba ar-riyaahi wamaa zarat.
Allaahumma rabba kulli shay'in wa-ilaaha kulli shay'in wamaleeka kulli shay'in anta allaahu al-muqtadiru 'alaa kulli shay'in anta allaahu al-awwalu falaa shay'a qablaka wa-anta al-aakhiru falaa shay'a ba'daka wa-anta az-zaahiru falaa shay'a fawqaka wa-anta al-baatinu falaa shay'a doonaka rabba jabra'eela wameekaa'eela wa-israafeela wa-ilaaha ibraaheema wa-ismaa'eela wa-ishaaqa wya'qooba wal-asbaat.
As'aluka an tusalliya 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammadin wa-an tawallaanee birahmatika walaa tusallita 'alayya ahadan min khalqika mimman laataaqata lee bih.
Allaahumma innee atahabbabu ilayka fahabbibnee wafee an-naasi fa'azziznee wamin sharri ash-shayaateeni al-jinni wal-insi fasallimnee yaa rabba al-'aalameena wasalli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aalih.
O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and all that they overshadow; Lord of the seven earths and all that they carry; Lord of the devils and all whom they mislead; and Lord of the winds and all that they scatter. O Allah, Lord of everything, God of everything, and Sovereign of everything: You are Allah, the All-Powerful over all things. You are Allah, the First nothing is before You; and You are the Last nothing is after You. You are the Manifest nothing is above You; and You are the Hidden nothing is beneath You. Lord of Jibril (Gabriel), Mika’il (Michael), and Israfil; and God of Ibrahim, Isma‘il, Ishaq, Ya‘qub, and the Tribes. I ask You to send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad; to take me into Your care through Your mercy; and not to give power over me to anyone among Your creation whom I cannot bear. O Allah, I seek to draw near to You in love so make me beloved; and among people, strengthen me. And keep me safe from the evil of devils among jinn and humankind O Lord of the worlds. And send blessings upon Muhammad and his family.
اے معبود! اے سات آسمانوں اور انکے تلے موجود چیزوں کے رب، اے سات زمینوں اور جو چیزیں ان پر ہیں ان کے پروردگار، اے شیطانوں کے رب اور جن کو وہ بہکاتے ہیں، اے ہوائوں کے رب اور جنہیں وہ اڑاتی ہیں۔ اے معبود! اے سب چیزوں کے رب، اے سب چیزوں کے معبود اور سب چیزوں کے مالک تو ہی وہ اللہ ہے جس کا ہر چیز پر اقتدار ہے تو وہ اللہ ہے کہ سب سے پہلے ہے تجھ سے پہلے کوئی چیز نہیں، تو سب سے آخر ہے کہ تیرے بعد کوئی چیز نہیں، تو ظاہرہے کوئی چیز تجھ سے بالا نہیں، تو باطن ہے کوئی چیز تیرے نیچے نہیں، اے جبرائیلؑ، میکائیلؑ اور اسرافیلؑ کے پروردگار اور اے ابراہیمؑ ،اسماعیلؑ ،اسحٰقؑ و یعقوبؑ کے معبود میں سوال کرتا ہوں کہ تو محمدؐ و آل محمدؑ پر رحمت نازل فرما، اور اپنی رحمت سے میری نگہبانی کر اپنی مخلوق میں سے کسی کو مجھ پر تسلط نہ دے کہ مجھ میں جس کے برداشت کی طاقت نہ ہو۔ اے معبود! میں تجھ سے محبت کرتا ہوں تو بھی مجھے اپنا محبوب اور لوگوں میں عزت دار بنا اور مجھے جنوں اور انسانوں میں سے شیطانوں کے شرسے محفوظ فرما، اے جہانوں کے پروردگار اور رحمت فرما محمدؐ اور ان کی آلؑ پر۔
