Upon accomplishment of the Night Prayer (Namaz’e Shab), you may stand up for offering the supererogatory dawn prayer, which consists of 2 units in the first of which you may recite Surah Fateha and Surah Kaafiroon and in the second unit Surah Fateha and Surah Ikhlaas. When you accomplish the prayer, you may sleep on the right side like a dead person in the grave, put your right cheek on your right hand, and say the following…
اس کے بعد نماز فجر کے نافلہ کے لیے کھڑا ہو جائے ،نافلہ صبح ۲ رکعت ہے، اس کی پہلی رکعت میں سورۂ فاتحہ کے بعد سورۂ کافرون اور دوسری رکعت میں سورۂ فاتحہ کے بعد سورۂ اخلاص پڑھے، نماز کا سلام دینے کے بعد پہلو کے بل روبہ قبلہ ہو کریوں لیٹ جائے جیسے ميّت کو قبر میں لٹا یاجاتا ہے ، پس اپنا دایاں رخسار اپنے دائیں ہاتھ پر رکھے اوریہ پڑھے۔۔۔
اِسْتَمْسَكْتُ بِعُرْوَةِ اللهِ الْوُثْقَى الَّتِىْ لَا انْفِصَامَ لَهَا وَاعْتَصَمْتُ بِحَبْلِ اللهِ الْمَتِيْنِ وَاَعُوْذُ بِاللهِ مِنْ شَرِّ فَسَقَةِ الْعَرَبِ وَالْعَجَمِ وَاَعُوْذُ بِاللهِ مِنْ شَرِّ فَسَقَةِ الْجِنِّ وَالْاِنْسِ۔
Istamsaktu bi'urwati allaahi al-wuthqaa allatee laa infisaama lahaa wa'tasamtu bihabli allaahi al-mateeni wa-a'oozu billaahi min sharri fasaqati al-'arabi wal-'ajami wa-a'oozu billaahi min sharri fasaqati al-jinni wal-ins.
I hold fast to Allah’s firmest handhold that will never break, and I cling to Allah’s strong rope. And I seek refuge in Allah from the evil of the sinful ones among Arabs and non-Arabs, and I seek refuge in Allah from the evil of the sinful ones among jinn and humankind.
میں وابستہ ہوا ہوں خدا کی مضبوط زنجیر سے جو ٹوٹنے والی نہیں ہے اور تھامے ہوئے ہوں خدا کی محکم تر رسّی کو اور خدا کی پناہ لیتا ہوں عرب و عجم کے بدکاروں کے شر سے اور خدا کی پناہ لیتا ہوں جن و انس کے بدکاروں کے شر سے۔
You may then repeat the following doxology 3 times…
پھر ۳ مرتبہ کہے۔۔۔
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّ الصَّبَاحِ فَالِقِ الْاِصْبَاحِ۔
Subhaana rabbi as-sabaahi faaliqi al-isbaah.
Glory be to the Lord of the morning, the Splitter of the dawn.
پاک ہے صبح کا پروردگار جو صبح کو وجود میں لاتا ہے۔
You may then recite the previously mentioned five verses of Surah Aale Imran (3: 190-194).
اس کے بعد سورہ آل عمران: ۱۹۰۔۱۹۴ آیات پڑھے۔
You may then sit and say Tasbeeh’e Zahra (s).
بعدمیں بیٹھ کر تسبیح زہراؑ پڑھے۔

کتاب من لا یحضرہ الفقیہ میں روایت ہوئی ہے کہ جو شخص صبح کے نافلہ اور فریضہ کے درمیان محمدؐ و آل محمدؑ پر ۱۰۰مرتبہ درود بھیجے تو اللہ اسے جہنم کی تپش سے محفوظ رکھے گا اور جو شخص ۱۰۰ مرتبہ یہ کہے تو حق تعالیٰ اس کے لیے جنت میں ایک گھر بنائے گا۔۔۔
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّىَ الْعَظِيْمِ وَبِحَمْدِهٖ اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهِ رَبِّىْ وَاَتُوْبُ اِلَيْهِ۔
Subhaana rabbiya al-'azeemi wabihamdihee astaghfiru allaahi rabbee wa-atoobu ilayh.
Glory be to my Lord, the Most Great, and with His praise. I seek forgiveness from Allah, my Lord, and I repent to Him.
پاک ہے میرا عظیم رب اور میں اس کی حمد کرتا ہوں، میں اپنے اللہ سے معافی مانگتا اور توبہ کرتا ہوں۔
Whoever recites Surah Ikhlaas 21 times, Almighty Allah will build for him a house in Paradise, and whoever recites it 40 times, Almighty Allah will forgive him. After accomplishing the Night Prayer, it is highly advisable to say the thirty-second supplication of Sahifa-e-Sajjadiya-32.
جو شخص ۲۱ مرتبہ سورۂ اخلاص پڑھے تو اللہ تعالی اس کے لئے بھی جنت میں ایک گھر بنائے گااور اگر ۴۰ مرتبہ سورۂ اخلاص پڑھے توخدا تعالی اسے بخش دے گا، بہتر ہے کہ نماز شب یعنی نماز تہجد کے بعدصحیفۂ سجادیہ دعا -۳۲ پڑھے۔
You may then do a thanksgiving prostration during which you are highly advised to pray for the good of your brothers-in-faith and say the aforementioned supplication that is said in the thanksgiving prostrations and begins with the following statement…
پھر سجدہ شکر بجالائے اور بہتر ہے کہ اس میں مومن بھائیوں کے لیے دعا کرے اور اسی حالت سجدہ میں اَللّٰهُمَّ رَبَّ الْفَجْرِ سے شروع ہونے والی دعا پڑھے جو سجدہ شکر کے بیان میں ذکر ہو چکی ہے۔۔۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ رَبَّ الْفَجْرِ وَاللَّيَالِى الْعَشْرِ وَالشَّفْعِ وَالْوَتْرِ وَاللَّيْلِ اِذَا يَسْرِ وَرَبَّ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَاِلٰهَ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَخَالِقَ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَمَلِيْكَ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِهٖ وَافْعَلْ بِىْ وَبِفُلَانٍ وَفُلَانٍ مَا اَنْتَ اَهْلُهٗ وَلَا تَفْعَلْ بِنَا مَا نَحْنُ اَهْلُهٗ فَاِنَّكَ اَهْلُ التَّقْوٰى وَاَهْلُ الْمَغْفِرَةِ۔
Allaahumma rabba al-fajri wal-layaalee al-'ashri wash-shaf'i wal-watri wal-layli izaa yasri warabba kulli shay'in wa-ilaaha kulli shay'in wakhaaliqa kulli shay'in wamaleeka kulli shay'in salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aalihee waf'al bee wabifulaanin wafulaanin maa anta ahluhoo walaa taf'al binaa maa nahnu ahluhoo fa-innaka ahlu at-taqwaa wa-ahlu al-maghfirah.
O Allah, Lord of the dawn; and (Lord of) the ten nights; and the even and the odd; and the night as it passes (You are) the Lord of everything, the God of everything, the Creator of everything, and the Sovereign of everything. Send blessings upon Muhammad and his family, and deal with me and with so-and-so and so-and-so as You are worthy to deal, and do not deal with us according to what we deserve. For You are worthy of piety (i.e., to be feared and obeyed) and worthy of forgiveness.
اے معبود ! اے فجر، دس راتوں شفع، وتر اور رات کے پروردگار جب وہ گزر جائے، اے ہر چیز کے پروردگار، اے ہر چیز کے معبود، اے ہر چیز کے پیدا کرنے والے اور اے ہر چیز کے مالک!سرکار محمدؐ و آل محمدؑ پررحمت نازل فرما اور میرے ساتھ اور فلاں فلاں کے ساتھ وہ برتائو کر جس کا تو اہل ہے اور ہمارے ساتھ وہ برتائو نہ کر جس کے ہم اہل ہیں کیونکہ يقينًا تو بچانے اور بخش دینے کا اہل ہے۔
I beseech my faithful brothers to mention me the sinful whose face has been blackened by sins in their supplications, because I am in urgent need for prayers. Eventually, Allah is the source of success.
مؤلف کو اپنے مؤمن بھائیوں سے قوی امید ہے کہ وہ حالت سجدہ میں اس کے لیے بھی دعا کریں گے کیونکہ اسے ان کی دعائوں کی سخت ضرورت ہے اور خداوند عالم ہی سب کو توفیق دینے والا ہے۔
