Through a valid chain of authority, Imam Sadiq (a) is reported to have related that the Holy Prophet (s) had missed one of Ansar (people of Madinah who gave shelter and supported the Holy Prophet and the earlier Muslims). معتبر سند کے ساتھ امام جعفر صادقؑ سے منقول ہے کہ انصاروں میں ایک شخص چند روز تک حضرت رسولؐ کی خدمت میں حاضر نہ ہو سکا آنحضرتؐ نے اس سے پوچھا کس وجہ سے چند روز تک ہمارے پاس نہیں آئے؟ اس نے عرض کیا: تنگدستی اور طویل بیماری کی وجہ سے حاضر خدمت نہ ہوسکا اس پر آنحضرتؐ نے اس سے فرمایاکہ تم صبح و شام یہ دعا پڑھا کرو۔۔۔
لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى الْحَيِّ الَّذِيْ لَا يَمُوْتُ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِيْ لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَّلَمْ يَكُنْ لَّهٗ شَرِيْكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَّهٗ وَلِيٌّ مِّنَ الذُّلِّ وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيْرًا۔
Laa hawla walaa quwwata illaa billaahi tawakkaltu 'alaa al-hayyi allazee laa yamootu wal-hamdu lillaahi allazee lam yattakhiz waladan walam yakun lahoo shareekun fee al-mulki walam yakun lahoo waliyyun mina az-zulli wakabbirhu takbeeraa.
There is neither might nor power except with Allah. I put my trust in the Ever-living (Lord) Who never dies. All praise is due to Allah, Who has not taken a son and Who has no partner in the kingdom, and Who has no protector from humiliation, and magnify Him with all magnificence.
نہیں کوئی طاقت وقوت مگر وہ جو خدا سے ملتی ہے میں نے اس زندہ خدا پر توکل کیا جس کے لئے موت نہیں اور حمد اس اﷲکے لئے ہے جس کی کوئی اولاد نہیں اور نہ کوئی اس کی سلطنت میں اس کا شریک ہے نہ اس کی عاجزی کی وجہ سے کوئی اس کا مددگار ہے اور تم اس کی بڑائی بیان کیا کرو۔
