The reciter addresses Allah as Peace, from whom peace comes and to whom all peace returns, and asks to be kept alive by His peace. The units of prayer are then dedicated to the Proof, the son of al-Hasan, with a request that Allah send blessings upon Muhammad and his family and convey the prayer to him. The reciter closes by asking for the best of what is hoped for and longed for in Allah, in His Messenger, and in His Wali.

The Infallible Imams (a) are reported to have said that a servant (of Allah) may offer 8 rakat namaz on Friday, in the form of 2 rakats each. 4 rakats of these may be dedicated to the Holy Prophet (s) while the other 4 rakats to Lady Fatema (s). On Saturday, other 4 rakats namaz are offered and dedicated to Imam Ali (a). Likewise, 4 rakats namaz may be offered every day and dedicated to one of the Holy Imams respectively. Thus, on Thursday, 4 rakats are offered and dedicated to Imam Sadiq (a). On Friday, 8 rakats are offered; 4 rakats of them are dedicated to the Holy Prophet (s) and 4 rakats to Lady Fatema (s). معصومینؑ سے روایت کی گئی ہے کہ انسان کو جمعہ کے دن آٹھ رکعت نماز ادا کرنی چاہیے کہ جس میں ہر دوسری رکعت میں سلام پڑھے پہلی چار رکعتیں رسول خدا ؐکو ہدیہ کرے اور دوسری چار رکعتیں جناب زہرا ؑکو ہدیہ کرے اسی طرح ہفتے کے روز چاررکعت نماز پڑھ کر حضرت امیر المومنین علی ابن ابی طالب ؑ کو ہدیہ کرے۔ نیز ہر روز چار رکعت نماز پڑھے،اور ترتیب کے ساتھ ایک ایک امامؑ کوہدیہ کرتا رہے یہاں تک کہ جمعرات کے دن نماز پڑھ کر حضرت امام جعفر صادق ؑ کے لئے ہدیہ کرے پھر روزِ جمعہ آٹھ رکعت نماز ادا کرے اور پہلے کی طرح رسول خدا ؐ اور حضرت فاطمۃ الزہرا ؑکو ہدیہ پیش کرے۔اگلے روز یعنی ہفتہ کے دن چاررکعت نماز پڑھ کر حضرت امام موسیٰ کاظم ؑ کو ہدیہ پیش کرے اور اسی طرح روزانہ چار ررکعت نماز پڑھ کر ترتیب کے ساتھ ہر امام کو ہدیہ کرتا جائے چنانچہ جمعرات کے دن چار رکعت نماز بجا لاکر حضرت امام العصرؑ عجل اللہ فرجہ،کے لئے ہدیہ کرے اور ہر دوسری رکعت کے بعد یہ دعا پڑھے۔۔۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اَنْتَ السَّلَامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلَامُ وَاِلَيْكَ يَعُوْدُ السَّلَامُ حَيِّنَا رَبَّنَا مِنْكَ بِالسَّلَامِ اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنَّ هٰذِهِ الرَّكَعَاتِ هَدِيَّةٌ مِنَّا اِلٰى وَلِيِّكَ۔

Allaahumma anta as-salaamu waminka as-salaamu wa-ilayka ya'oodu as-salaamu hayyinaa rabbanaa minka bis-salaami allaahumma inna haazihi ar-raka'aati hadiyyatun minnaa ilaa waliyyik... auto
O God! You are Peace, the Peace from You, all peace return to You, O our Lord cause us to alive with Your peace, O God, this units of prayer from me are dedicated to the proof son Al-Hasan…
اے معبود! تو سلام ہے سلامتی تیری طرف ہے اور سلامتی تیری ہی طرف پلٹتی ہے اے ہمارے پروردگار ہمیں سلامتی میں رکھ اے معبود یقیناًیہ چند رکعتیں ہماری طرف سے ہدیہ ہیں تیرے فلاں ولی کے لیے۔۔۔

یہاں پر اس امام کا نام لے جس کو یہ ۲ رکعت نماز ہدیہ کرنا ہے اور پھر یہ کہے۔۔۔

فَصَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِهٖ وَبَلِّغْهُ اِيَّاهَا وَاَعْطِنِىْ اَفْضَلَ اَمَلٰى وَرَجَآئِىْ فِيْكَ وَفِىْ رَسُوْلِكَ صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهٖ وَفِيْهِ۔
...fasalli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aalihee waballighhu iyyaahaa wa-a'tinee afdala amalaa warajaa'ee feeka wafee rasoolika salawaatuka 'alayhi wa-aalihee wafeeh. auto
…So send blessings upon Muhammad and his family, and convey these (rakats) to him. And grant me the best of my hopes and my longing in You, and in Your Messenger may Your blessings be upon him and his family and in him (i.e Your Wali).
۔۔۔پس رحمت فرما محمدؐ اور ان کی آلؑ پر اور میری طرف بھی پہنچا دے، مجھے اس سے زیادہ عطا فرما جو امیدو آرزو تجھ سےتیرے رسول ؐاور اس معصوم ؑسے ہے تیری رحمت ہو انؐ پر اور ان کی آلؑ پر۔

اس کے بعد جو دعا چاہے مانگے۔
