Namaz-e-Shukrنماز شکر
The namaz of thanksgiving, prayed when a supplication has been answered or a blessing received.
Its words are simply gratitude: all praise, thankfulness and gratitude belong to Allah — and then, precisely, “all praise belongs to Allah who fulfilled my dua and met my request.” It names what happened rather than asking for anything further, which is what makes it a shukr and not a dua.

امام جعفر صادقؑ نے نماز شکر کے متعلق فرمایا کہ جب بھی اللہ تعالی اپنی نعمت سے تمہیں نوازے تو شکر کے طور پر ۲ رکعت نماز ادا کرے کہ جس کی پہلی رکعت میں سورۂ فاتحہ کے بعد سورۂ اخلاص پڑھے اور دوسری رکعت میں سورۂ فاتحہ کے بعد سورہٴ کافرون پڑھے اور پہلی رکعت کے رکوع اور سجود میں اس طرح سے کہے۔۔۔
