Namaz-e-Eid

نمازِ عیدین

1. Eid-ul-Fitr & Eid-ul-Azha
2. PLEASE NOTE: Be it clear that the reason for presenting Translation is to understand Salaat and to recite in Arabic with concentration because reciting Salaat in other than Arabic language (or Transliteration) is not correct.

3. Namaz-e-Eid can be performed individually if one has missed the Jama'at. This prayer is mustahab during the period of occultation of the Imam-e-Zamana (a). The prayer can be prayed from sunrise until the time of descent of the Sun (zohr). If that timing is not observed then this namaz cannot be prayed as a qaza. It is also recommended to offer Namaz-e-Eid outdoors (except Haram-e-Ka’ba), directly on the ground without putting a carpet or any other thing under the feet, and to pray Almighty Allah for accepting the acts of momeneen.

   مستحب ہے کہ نمازِ عید زیرِ آسمان،بغیر فرش بچھائےپڑھے،نماز کے بعد گھر واپس آتے ہوئے اس راستے سے نہ آئے، جس سے نماز کے لئے گیا تھا اس روز اپنے اور اپنے دینی بھائیوں کے لئے جو دعا بھی مانگے گا قبول ہوگی۔

4. Recite 2 rakat Namaz with the niyyat of Namaz-e-Eid. In the 1st rakat after Surah Fateha and other Surah (preferably Surah Aala), perform Qunoot 5-times in which recite the below dua once in every Qunoot. In the 2nd rakat after Surah Fateha and other Surah (preferably Surah Shams), perform Qunoot 4-times in which recite the below dua once in every Qunoot. After namaz recite Tasbeeh-e-Zahra (s).

   نمازِ عید ۲ رکعت ہے، پہلی رکعت میں سورۂ فاتحہ کے بعد سورۂ اعلیٰ پڑھے اور ۵ تکبیریں کہے البتہ ہر تکبیر کے بعد قنوت پڑھے۔ پھر چھٹی تکبیر کہہ کررکوع و سجود کرے۔دوسری رکعت میں سورۂ فاتحہ کے بعد سورۂ شمس پڑھے اور چار تکبیریں کہے، ہر تکبیر کے بعد قنوت پڑھے اور پانچویں تکبیر کہہ کر رکوع و سجود کرے اور تشہد و سلام کے بعد تسبیح فاطمہؑ پڑھے۔

5. Dua-e-Qunoot

6. اَللّٰہُمَّ اَھْلَ الْکِبْرِیَآءِ وَالْعَظَمَۃِ، وَاَھْلَ الْجُوْدِ وَالْجَبَرُوْتِ، وَاَھْلَ الْعَفْوِ وَالرَّحْمَۃِ، وَاَھْلَ التَّقْوٰی وَالْمَغْفِرَۃِ، اَسْئَلُکَ بِحَقِّ ھٰذَا الْیَوْمِ، الَّذِیْ جَعَلْتَہٗ لِلْمُسْلِمِیْنَ عِیْدًا، وَلِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ ذُخْرًا وَّشَرَفًا وَّکَرَامَۃً وَّمَزِیْدًا اَنْ تُصَلِّیَ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَاَنْ تُدْخِلَنِیْ فِیْ کُلِّ خَیْرٍ اَدْخَلْتَ فِیْہِ مُحَمَّدًا وَّاٰلَ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَاَنْ تُخْرِجَنِیْ مِنْ کُلِّ سُوْٓئٍ اَخْرَجْتَ مِنْہُ مُحَمَّدًا وَّاٰلَ مُحَمَّدٍ، صَلَوَاتُکَ عَلَیْہِ وَعَلَیْہِمْ اَجْمَعِیْن، اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْئَلُکَ خَیْرَ مَا سَئَلَکَ مِنْہُ عِبَادُکَ الصَّالِحُوْنَ، وَاَعُوْذُ بِکَ فِیْہِ مِمَّا اسْتَعَاذَ مِنْہُ عِبَادُکَ الْمُخْلِصُوْنَ۔

   ALLAAHUMMA AHLA AL-KIBRIYAA'I WAL-'AZAMATI, WA-AHLA AL-JOODI WAL-JABAROOTI, WA-AHLA AL-'AFWI WAR-RAHMATI, WA-AHLA AT-TAQWAA WAL-MAGHFIRATI, AS'ALUKA BIHAQQI HAAZAA AL-YAWMI, ALLAZEE JA'ALTAHOO LIL-MUSLIMEENA 'EEDAN, WALIMUHAMMADIN SALLAA ALLAAHU 'ALAYHI WA-AALIHEE ZUKHRAN WASHARAFAN WAKARAAMATAN WAMAZEEDAN AN TUSALLIYA 'ALAA MUHAMMADIN WA-AALI MUHAMMADIN, WA-AN TUDKHILANEE FEE KULLI KHAYRIN ADKHALTA FEEHI MUHAMMADAN WA-AALA MUHAMMADIN, WA-AN TUKHRIJANEE MIN KULLI SOO'IN AKHRAJTA MINHU MUHAMMADAN WA-AALA MUHAMMADIN, SALAWAATUKA 'ALAYHI WA'ALAYHIM AJMA'EEN, ALLAAHUMMA INNEE AS'ALUKA KHAYRA MAA SA'ALAKA MINHU 'IBAADUKA AS-SAALIHOONA, WA-A'OOZU BIKA FEEHI MIMMAA ISTA'AAZA MINHU 'IBAADUKA AL-MUKHLISOON.

   O Allah: You are the Lord of glory and greatness And the Lord of magnanimity and omnipotence And the Lord of pardon and mercy, And the worthiest of being feared and the Lord of forgiveness; I beseech You in the name of this day, which You have decided to be feast for the Muslims, And to be a treasure, honor, dignity and increase for Muhammad peace of Allah be upon him and his Household (I beseech You) that You may send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, And You may include me with every item of goodness with which You have included Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, And that You save me from any item of evil from which You have saved Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, May Your blessings be upon him and upon them. O Allah: I pray You for the best of all that for which Your righteous servants have prayed You, And I seek Your protection against all that against which Your sincere servants have asked Your protection.

   بارالہٰا! بزرگیوں کا اور بڑائی کا مالک تو ہے اور بخشش کا اور دبدبے کا مالک تو ہے درگزر اور مہربانی کا مالک تو ہے تقویٰ اور مغفرت کا اہل تو ہے میں سوال کرتا ہوں آج کے دن کے واسطے سے جس کو تو نے مسلمانوں کے لئے عید قرار دیا، محمدؐ کے لئے اسے سرمایہ، شرف، کرامت اور اضافہ کا دن بنایا ہے آج محمدؐ وآل محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل فرما اور یہ کہ داخل کر مجھے ہر اس نیکی میں جس میں تو نے محمدؐ وآلؑ محمدؐ کو داخل کیا اور یہ کہ دور کردے مجھے ہر اس بدی سے جس سے تو نے محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ کو دور رکھا تیری رحمتیں ہوں آنحضرتؐ پر اور ان کی آل پر اے معبود! میں سوال کرتا ہوں تجھ سے ہر اس بھلائی کا جس کاسوال تجھ سے تیرے نیک بندوں نے کیا اور پناہ حاصل کرتا ہوں تیری جس سے تیرے نیکوکار بندوں نے پناہ چاہی ہے۔

7. After namaz of Eid-ul-Fitr it is recommended to recite Takbeer Eid-ul-Fitr.

   عید الفطر کی نماز کے بعد مستحب ہے کہ تکبیر عید الفطر پڑھے۔

8. After namaz of Eid-ul-Azha it is recommended to recite Takbeer Eid-ul-Azha.

   عید الاضحی کی نماز کے بعد مستحب ہے کہ تکبیر عید الاضحی پڑھے۔
