On entering the Mosque-2
مسجد میں داخل ہوتے وقت-۲
One of the duas of mosque etiquette, said at the threshold. It begins in the name of Allah, by Allah, from Allah and to Allah — declaring that the best of all names belong to Him — places trust in Him, and states that there is no power and no strength except through Him.
What it asks is narrow and deliberate: that the doors of His mercy and His repentance be opened, that the doors of disobedience to Him be closed, and that the one entering be counted among those who visit His house. It asks blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad before it asks anything for itself.
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
بِسْمِ اللهِ وَبِاللهِ وَمِنَ اللهِ وَاِلَى اللهِ وَخَيْرُ الْاَسْمَاۗءِ كُلِّهَا لِلهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللهِ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللهِ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَافْتَحْ لِىْ اَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ وَتَوْبَتِكَ وَاَغْلِقْ عَنِّىْ اَبْوَابَ مَعْصِيَتِكَ وَاجْعَلْنِىْ مِنْ زُوَّارِكَ وَعُمَّارِ مَسَاجِدِكَ وَمِمَّنْ يُنَاجِيْكَ فِى اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَمِنَ الَّذِيْنَ هُمْ فِىْ صَلٰوتِهِمْ خَاشِعُوْنَ وَادْحَرْ عَنِّى الشَّيْطَانَ الرَّجِيْمَ وَجُنُوْدَ اِبْلِيْسَ اَجْمَعِيْنَ۔
Bismillaahe wa billaahe wa menal laahe wa ilal laahe wa khairul asmaa-e kulle-haa lillaahe tawakkal-to a’lal laahe wa laa hawla wa laa quwwata illaa billaahe.
Allaahumma salle a’laa mohammadiw wa aale mohammadin waf-tah lee abwaa-ba rahmate-ka wa tawbate-ka wa agh-liq a’nnee abwaa-ba ma’seyate-ka waj a’lnee min zuwwaare-ka wa u’mmare masaaje-de-ka wa mimman yonaa jeeka fil laiyle wan nahaare ma menal lazeena hum fee salaate-him khaashe-oo’na wad-har a’nnish shaiytaa-nar rajeema wa jonoo-da ibleesa ajma-ee’na.
In the name of Allah, and by Allah, and from Allah, and to Allah. And the best of all names belong to Allah. I place my trust in Allah, and there is no power and no strength except through Allah. O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad. Open for me the doors of Your mercy and Your repentance, and close against me the doors of disobedience to You. Make me among Your visitors and among those who maintain and frequent Your mosques, and among those who whisper to You in intimate prayer night and day, and among those who are humble and submissive in their prayers. Drive away from me the accursed Satan and all the troops of Iblis altogether.
خدا کے نام سے اور خدا کے سہارے سے، خدا کی طرف سے تمام بہترین نام خدا کے لئے ہیں میں خدا پر بھر وسہ کرتا ہوں، نہیں کوئی طاقت و قوت مگر خدا ہی کی طرف سے ہے۔ اے معبود! رحمت فرما محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر میرے لئے اپنی رحمت اور توبہ کے دروازے کھول دے اور میرے لئے نافرمانی کے دروازے بند کردے مجھے اپنے پاک گھر کے زائروں اور مسجدیں آباد کرنے والوں میں رکھ اور ان میں جو رات دن تجھ سے دعا کرتے ہیں ان میں سے جو نماز میں عاجزی و خوف کا اظہار کرتے ہیں اور راندے(دھتکارے) ہوئے شیطان اور اس کے تمام لشکروں کومجھ سےدور کر دے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
