Surah Jaasia (45, 37 ayat)سورۂ جاثیہ

In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

Ha Mim.

حمۤ۔

The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise.

اس کتاب کی تنزیل اس خدا کی طرف سے ہے جو صاحبِ عزّت بھی ہے اور صاحبِ حکمت بھی ہے۔

Most surely in the heavens and the earth there are signs for the believers.

بےشک آسمانوں اور زمینوں میں صاحبانِ ایمان کے لئے بہت سی نشانیاں پائی جاتی ہیں۔

And in your (own) creation and in what He spreads abroad of animals there are signs for a people that are sure;

اور خود تمہاری خلقت میں بھی اور جن جانورں کو وہ پھیلاتا رہتا ہے ان میں بھی صاحبانِ یقین کے لئے بہت سی نشانیاں ہیں۔

And (in) the variation of the night and the day, and (in) what Allah sends down of sustenance from the cloud, then gives life thereby to the earth after its death, and (in) the changing of the winds, there are signs for a people who understand.

اور رات دن کی رفت و آمد میں اور جو رزق خدا نے آسمان سے نازل کیا ہے جس کے ذریعہ سے مردہ زمینوں کو زندہ بنایا ہے اور ہواؤں کے چلنے میں اس قوم کے لئے نشانیاں پائی جاتی ہیں جو عقل رکھنے والی ہے۔

These are the communications of Allah which We recite to you with truth; then in what announcement would they believe after Allah and His communications?

یہ اللہ کی آیتیں ہیں جن کی حق کے ساتھ تلاوت کی جا رہی ہے تو اللہ اور اس کی آیتوں کے بعد یہ کس بات پر ایمان لانے والے ہیں۔

Woe to every sinful liar

بےشک ہر جھوٹے گنہ گار کے حال پر افسوس ہے۔

Who hears the communications of Allah recited to him, then persists proudly as though he had not heard them; so announce to him a painful punishment.

جو تلاوت کی جانے والی آیات کو سنتا ہے اور پھر اکڑ جاتا ہے جیسے سنا ہی نہیں ہے تو اسے درد ناک عذاب کی بشارت دے دیجئے۔

And when he comes to know of any of Our communications, he takes it for a jest; these it is that shall have abasing chastisement.

اور اسے جب بھی ہماری کسی نشانی کا علم ہوتا ہے تو اس کا مذاق اڑاتا ہے بےشک یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جن کے لئے رسوا کن عذاب ہے۔

Before them is hell, and there shall not avail them aught of what they earned, nor those whom they took for guardians besides Allah, and they shall have a grievous punishment.

ان کے پیچھے جہنّم ہے اور انہوں نے جو کچھ کمایا ہے اور جن لوگوں کو خدا کو چھوڑ کر سرپرست بنایا ہے کوئی کام آنے والا نہیں ہے اور ان کے لئے بہت بڑا عذاب ہے۔

This is guidance; and (as for) those who disbelieve in the communications of their Lord, they shall have a painful punishment on account of uncleanness.

یہ قرآن ایک ہدایت ہے اور جن لوگوں نے آیاتِ خدا کا انکار کیا ہے ان کے لئے سخت قسم کا درد ناک عذاب ہو گا۔

Allah is He Who made subservient to you the sea that the ships may run therein by His command, and that you may seek of His grace, and that you may give thanks.

اللہ ہی نے تمہارے لئے دریا کو مُسخّر کیا ہے کہ اس کے حکم سے کشتیاں چل سکیں اور تم اس کے فضل و کرم کو تلاش کر سکو اور شاید اس کا شکریہ بھی ادا کر سکو۔

And He has made subservient to you whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth, all, from Himself; most surely there are signs in this for a people who reflect.

اور اسی نے تمہارے لئے زمین و آسمان کی تمام چیزوں کو مُسخّر کر دیا ہے بےشک اس میں غور و فکر کرنے والی قوم کے لئے نشانیاں پائی جاتی ہیں۔

Say to those who believe (that) they forgive those who do not fear the days of Allah that He may reward a people for what they earn.

آپ صاحبانِ ایمان سے کہہ دیں کہ وہ خدائی دنوں کی توقع نہ رکھنے والوں سے درگزر کریں تاکہ خدا قوم کو ان کے اعمال کا مکمل بدلہ دے سکے۔

Whoever does good, it is for his own soul, and whoever does evil, it is against himself; then you shall be brought back to your Lord.

جو نیک کام کرے گا وہ اپنے فائدہ کے لئے کرے گا اور جو برائی کرے گا وہ اپنے ہی نقصان کے لئے کرے گا اس کے بعد تم سب پروردگار کی طرف پلٹائے جاؤ گے۔

And certainly We gave the Book and the wisdom and the prophecy to the children of Israel, and We gave them of the goodly things, and We made them excel the nations.

اور یقینًا ہم نے بنی اسرائیل کو کتاب، حکومت اور نبوت عطا کی ہے اور انہیں پاکیزہ رزق دیا ہے اور انہیں تمام عالمین پر فضیلت دی ہے۔

And We gave them clear arguments in the affair, but they did not differ until after knowledge had come to them out of envy among themselves; surely your Lord will judge between them on the day of resurrection concerning that wherein they differed.

اور انہیں اپنے امر کی کھلی ہوئی نشانیاں عطا کی ہیں پھر ان لوگوں نے علم آنے کے بعد آپس کی ضد میں اختلاف کیا تو یقینًا تمہارا پروردگار روزِ قیامت ان کے درمیان ان تمام باتوں کا فیصلہ کر دے گا جن میں یہ اختلاف کرتے رہے ہیں۔

Then We have made you follow a course in the affair, therefore follow it, and do not follow the low desires of those who do not know.

پھر ہم نے آپ کو اپنے حکم کے واضح راستہ پر لگا دیا لہٰذا آپ اسی کا اتباع کریں اور خبردار جاہلوں کی خواہشات کا اتباع نہ کریں۔

Surely they shall not avail you in the least against Allah; and surely the unjust are friends of each other, and Allah is the guardian of those who guard (against evil).

یہ لوگ خدا کے مقابلہ میں ذرہ برابر کام آنے والے نہیں ہیں اور ظالمین آپس میں ایک دوسرے کے دوست ہیں تو اللہ صاحبانِ تقویٰ کا سرپرست ہے۔

These are clear proofs for men, and a guidance and a mercy for a people who are sure.

یہ لوگوں کے لئے روشنی کا مجموعہ اور یقین کرنے والی قوم کے لئے ہدایت اور رحمت ہے۔

Nay! do those who have wrought evil deeds think that We will make them like those who believe and do good that their life and their death shall be equal? Evil it is that they judge.

کیا برائی اختیار کر لینے والوں نے یہ خیال کر لیا ہے کہ ہم انہیں ایمان لانے والوں اور نیک عمل کرنے والوں کے برابر قرار دے دیں گے کہ سب کی موت و حیات ایک جیسی ہو یہ ان لوگوں نے نہایت بدترین فیصلہ کیا ہے۔

And Allah created the heavens and the earth with truth and that every soul may be rewarded for what it has earned and they shall not be wronged.

اور اللہ نے آسمان و زمین کو حق کے ساتھ پیدا کیا ہے اور اس لئے بھی کہ ہر نفس کو اس کے اعمال کا بدلہ دیا جا سکے اور یہاں کسی پر ظلم نہیں کیا جائے گا۔

Have you then considered him who takes his low desire for his god, and Allah has made him err having knowledge and has set a seal upon his ear and his heart and put a covering upon his eye. Who can then guide him after Allah? Will you not then be mindful?

کیا آپ نے اس شخص کو بھی دیکھا ہے جس نے اپنی خواہش ہی کو خدا بنا لیا ہے اور خدا نے اسی حالت کو دیکھ کر اسے گمراہی میں چھوڑ دیا ہے اور اس کے کان اور دل پر مہر لگا دی ہے اور اس کی آنکھ پر پردے پڑے ہوئے ہیں اور خدا کے بعد کون ہدایت کر سکتا ہے کیا تم اتنا بھی غور نہیں کرتے ہو۔

And they say: There is nothing but our life in this world; we live and die and nothing destroys us but time, and they have no knowledge of that; they only conjecture.

اور یہ لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ یہ صرف زندگانی دنیا ہے اسی میں مرتے ہیں اور جیتے ہیں اور زمانہ ہی ہم کو ہلاک کر دیتا ہے اور انہیں اس بات کا کوئی علم نہیں ہے کہ یہ صرف ان کے خیالات ہیں اور بس۔

And when Our clear communications are recited to them, their argument is no other than that they say: Bring our fathers (back) if you are truthful.

اور جب ان کے سامنے ہماری کھلی ہوئی آیات کی تلاوت ہوتی ہے تو ان کی دلیل صرف یہ ہوتی ہے کہ اگر تم سچے ہو تو ہمارے باپ دادا کو زندہ کر کے لے آؤ۔

Say: Allah gives you life, then He makes you die, then will He gather you to the day of resurrection wherein is no doubt, but most people do not know.

آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ خدا ہی تم کو بھی زندہ رکھے ہے پھر ایک دن موت دے گا اور آخر میں سب کو روزِ قیامت جمع کرے گا اور اس میں کوئی شک نہیں ہے لیکن اکثر لوگ اس بات کو بھی نہیں سمجھتے ہیں۔

And Allah’s is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and on the day when the hour shall come to pass, on that day shall they perish who say false things.

اور اللہ ہی کے لئے زمین و آسمان کا ملک ہے اور جس دن قیامت قائم ہو گی اس دن اہل ه باطل کو واقعًا خسارہ ہو گا۔

And you shall see every nation kneeling down; every nation shall be called to its book: today you shall be rewarded for what you did.

اور آپ ہر قوم کو گھٹنے کے بل بیٹھا ہوا دیکھیں گے اور سب کو ان کے نامئہ اعمال کی طرف بلایا جائے گا کہ آج تمہیں تمہارے اعمال کا بدلہ دیا جائے گا۔

This is Our book that speaks against you with justice; surely We wrote what you did

یہ ہماری کتاب (نامئہ اعمال) ہے جو حق کے ساتھ بولتی ہے اور ہم اس میں تمہارے اعمال کو برابر لکھوا رہے تھے۔

Then as to those who believed and did good, their Lord will make them enter into His mercy; that is the manifest achievement.

اب جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور انہوں نے نیک اعمال کئے انہیں پروردگار اپنی رحمت میں داخل کر لے گا کہ یہی سب سے نمایاں کامیابی ہے۔

As to those who disbelieved: What! were not My communications recited to you? But you were proud and you were a guilty people.

اور جن لوگوں نے کفر اختیار کیا تو کیا تمہارے سامنے ہماری آیات کی تلاوت نہیں ہو رہی تھی لیکن تم نے اکڑ سے کام لیا اور بےشک تم ایک مجرم قوم تھے۔

And when it was said, Surely the promise of Allah is true and as for the hour, there is no doubt about it, you said: We do not know what the hour is; we do not think (that it will come to pass) save a passing thought, and we are not at all sure.

اور جب یہ کہا گیا کہ اللہ کا وعدہ سچا ہے اور قیامت میں کوئی شک نہیں ہے تو تم نے کہہ دیا کہ ہم تو قیامت نہیں جانتے ہیں ہم اسے ایک خیالی بات سمجھتے ہیں اور ہم اس کا یقین کرنے والے نہیں ہیں۔

And the evil (consequences) of what they did shall become manifest to them and that which they mocked shall encompass them.

اور ان کے لئے ان کے اعمال کی برائیاں ثابت ہو گئیں اور انہیں اسی عذاب نے گھیر لیا جس کا وہ مذاق اڑایا کرتے تھے۔

And it shall be said: Today We forsake you as you neglected the meeting of this day of yours and your abode is the fire, and there are not for you any helpers:

اور ان سے کہا گیا کہ ہم تمہیں آج اسی طرح نظر انداز کر دیں گے جس طرح تم نے آج کے دن کی ملاقات کو بھلا دیا تھا اور تم سب کا انجام جہنّم ہے اور تمہارا کوئی مدد گار نہیں ہے۔

That is because you took the communications of Allah for a jest and the life of this world deceived you. So on that day they shall not be brought forth from it, nor shall they be granted goodwill.

یہ سب اس لئے ہے کہ تم نے آیاتِ الہٰی کا مذاق بنایا تھا اور تمہیں زندگانی دنیا نے دھوکے میں رکھا تھا تو آج یہ لوگ عذاب سے باہر نہیں نکالے جائیں گے اور انہیں معافی مانگنے کا موقع بھی نہیں دیا جائے گا۔

Therefore to Allah is due (all) praise, the Lord of the heavens and the Lord of the earth, the Lord of the worlds.

ساری حمد اسی خدا کے لئے ہے جو آسمان و زمین اور تمام عالمین کا پروردگار اور مالک ہے۔

And to Him belongs greatness in the heavens and the earth, and He is the Mighty, the Wise.

اسی کے لئے آسمان و زمین میں بزرگی اور کبریائی ہے اور وہی صاحبِ عزّت اور حکمت والا ہے۔

Almighty God the most high speaks the truth.

اللہ بزرگ و برتر نے سچ فرمایا ہے۔
