Al Lazina kaanat
اَلَّذِيْنَ كَانَتْ
Surah (18:101-110)
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَلَّذِيْنَ كَانَتْ اَعْيُنُهُمْ فِيْ غِطَاۗءٍ عَنْ ذِكْرِيْ وَكَانُوْا لَا يَسْتَطِيْعُوْنَ سَمْعًا
Allazeena kaanat a’yunuhum fee ghitaaa’in ’an zikree wa kaanoo la yastatee’oona sam’aa.
They whose eyes were under a cover from My reminder and they could not even hear.
وہ کافر جن کی نگاہیں ہمارے ذکر کی طرف سے پردہ میں تھیں اور وہ کچھ سُننا بھی نہیں چاہتے تھے۔
اَفَحَسِبَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْٓا اَنْ يَّتَّخِذُوْا عِبَادِيْ مِنْ دُوْنِيْٓ اَوْلِيَاۗءَ اِنَّآ اَعْتَدْنَا جَهَنَّمَ لِلْكٰفِرِيْنَ نُزُلًا
Afahasibal lazeena kafarooo any yattakhizoo ’ibaadee min dooneee awliyaaa’; innaaa a’tadnaa jahannama lil kaafireena nuzulaa.
What! do then those who disbelieve think that they can take My servants to be guardians besides Me? Surely We have prepared hell for the entertainment of the unbelievers.
تو کیا کافروں کا خیال یہ ہے کہ یہ ہمیں چھوڑ کر ہمارے بندوں کو اپنا سرپرست بنالیں گے تو ہم نے جہنّم کو کافرین کے لئے بطور منزل مہیّا کردیا ہے۔
قُلْ هَلْ نُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِالْاَخْسَرِيْنَ اَعْمَالًا
Qul hal nunabbi’ukum bilakhsareena a’maalaa.
Say: Shall We inform you of the greatest losers in (their) deeds?
پیغمبر کیا ہم آپ کو ان لوگوں کے بارے میں اطلاع دیں جو اپنے اعمال میں بدترین خسارہ میں ہیں۔
اَلَّذِيْنَ ضَلَّ سَعْيُهُمْ فِي الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا وَهُمْ يَحْسَبُوْنَ اَنَّهُمْ يُحْسِنُوْنَ صُنْعًا
Allazeena dalla sa’yuhum fil hayaatid dunyaa wa hum yahsaboona annahum yuhsinoona sun’aa.
(These are) they whose labor is lost in this world’s life and they think that they are well versed in skill of the work of hands.
یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جن کی کوشش زندگانی دنیا میں بہک گئی ہے اور یہ خیال کرتے ہیں کہ یہ اچھے اعمال انجام دے رہے ہیں۔
اُولٰۗئِكَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا بِاٰيٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ وَلِقَاۗئِهٖ فَحَبِطَتْ اَعْمَالُهُمْ فَلَا نُقِيْمُ لَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ وَزْنًا
Ulaaa’ikal lazeena kafaroo bi aayaati rabbihim wa liqaaa’ihee fahabitat a’maaluhum falaa nuqeemu lahum yawmal qiyaamati waznaa.
These are they who disbelieve in the communications of their Lord and His meeting, so their deeds become , and therefore We will not set up a balance for them on the day of resurrection.
یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جنہوں نے آیات پروردگار اور اس کی ملاقات کا انکار کیا ہے تو ان کے اعمال برباد ہوگئے ہیں اور ہم قیامت کے دن ان کے لئے کوئی وزن قائم نہیں کریں گے۔
ذٰلِكَ جَزَاۗؤُهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ بِمَا كَفَرُوْا وَاتَّخَذُوْٓا اٰيٰتِيْ وَرُسُلِيْ هُزُوًا
Zaalika jazaaa’uhum jahannamu bimaa kafaroo wattakhazooo aayaatee wa rusulee huzuwaa.
Thus it is that their recompense is hell, because they disbelieved and held My communications and My apostles in mockery.
ان کی جزا ان کے کفر کی بنا پر جہنّم ہے کہ انہوں نے ہمارے رسولوں اور ہماری آیتوں کو مذاق بنا لیا ہے۔
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ كَانَتْ لَهُمْ جَنّٰتُ الْفِرْدَوْسِ نُزُلًا
Innal lazeena aamanoo wa ’amilus saalihaati kaanat lahum jannaatul firdawsi nuzulaa.
Surely (as for) those who believe and do good deeds, their place of entertainment shall be the gardens of paradise
یقینًا جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور انہوں نے نیک اعمال کئے ان کی منزل کے لئے جنّت الفردوس ہے۔
خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَا لَا يَبْغُوْنَ عَنْهَا حِوَلًا
Khaalideena feeha la yabghoona ’anhaa hiwalaa.
Abiding therein; they shall not desire removal from them.
وہ ہمیشہ اس جنّت میں رہیں گے اور اس کی تبدیلی کی خواہش بھی نہ کریں گے۔
قُل لَّوْ كَانَ الْبَحْرُ مِدَادًا لِّكَلِمٰتِ رَبِّيْ لَنَفِدَ الْبَحْرُ قَبْلَ اَنْ تَنْفَدَ كَلِمٰتُ رَبِّيْ وَلَوْ جِئْنَا بِمِثْلِهٖ مَدَدًا
Qul law kaanal bahru midaadal li kalimaati rabbee lanafidal bahru qabla an tanfada kalimaatu rabbee wa law ji’naa bimislihee madadaa.
Say: If the sea were ink for the words of my Lord, the sea would surely be consumed before the words of my Lord are exhausted, though We were to bring the like of that (sea) to add there to.
آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ اگر میرے پروردگار کے کلمات کے لئے سمندر بھی روشنی جائیں تو کلماتِ رب کے ختم ہونے سے پہلے ہی سارے سمندر ختم ہوجائیں گے چاہے ان کی مدد کے لئے ہم ویسے ہی سمندر اور بھی لے ائیں۔
قُلْ اِنَّمَآ اَنَا۟ بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ يُوْحٰٓى اِلَيَّ اَنَّمَآ اِلٰهُكُمْ اِلٰهٌ وَّاحِدٌ فَمَنْ كَانَ يَرْجُوْ لِقَاۗءَ رَبِّهٖ فَلْيَعْمَلْ عَمَلًا صَالِحًا وَّلَا يُشْرِكْ بِعِبَادَةِ رَبِّهٖٓ اَحَدًا
Qul innamaaa ana basharum mislukum yoohaaa ilaiya annamaa ilaahukum ilaahunw waahid; faman kaana yarjoo liqaaa’a rabbihee falya’mal ’amalan saalihanw wa laa yushrik bi’ibaadati rabbiheee ahadaa.
Say: I am only a mortal like you; it is revealed to me that your god is one God, therefore whoever hopes to meet his Lord, he should do good deeds, and not join anyone in the service of his Lord.
آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ میں تمہارا ہی جیسا ایک بشر ہوں مگر میری طرف وحی آتی ہے کہ تمہارا خدا ایک اکیلا ہے لہذا جو بھی اس کی ملاقات کا امیدوار ہے اسے چاہئے کہ عمل صالح کرے اور کسی کو اپنے پروردگار کی عبادت میں شریک نہ بنائے۔
