Surah (3:18-19)
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
شَهِدَ اللهُ اَنَّهٗ لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ وَالْمَلٰٓئِكَةُ وَاُولُو الْعِلْمِ قَآئِمًۢا بِالْقِسْطِ لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الْحَكِيْمُ۔
Shahida allaahu annahoo laa ilaaha illaa huwa wal-malaa'ikatu wa-ooloo al-'ilmi qaa'iman bil-qisti laa ilaaha illaa huwa al-'azeezu al-hakeem.
Allah bears witness that there is no god but He, and (so do) the angels and those possessed of knowledge, maintaining His creation with justice; there is no god but He, the Mighty, the Wise.
اللہ خود گواہ ہے کہ اس کے علاوہ کوئی خدا نہیں ہے ملائکہ اور صاحبانِ علم گواہ ہیں کہ وہ عدل کے ساتھ قائم ہے، اس کے علاوہ کوئی خدا نہیں ہے اور وہ صاحبِ عزّت و حکمت ہے۔
اِنَّ الدِّيْنَ عِنْدَ اللهِ الْاِسْلَامُ وَمَا اخْتَلَفَ الَّذِيْنَ اُوْتُوا الْكِتٰبَ اِلَّا مِنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَهُمُ الْعِلْمُ بَغْيًۢا بَيْنَهُمْ وَمَنْ يَّكْفُرْ بِاٰيٰتِ اللهِ فَاِنَّ اللهَ سَرِيْعُ الْحِسَابِ۔
Inna ad-deena 'inda allaahi al-islaamu wamaa ikhtalafa allazeena ootoo al-kitaaba illaa min ba'di maa jaa'ahumu al-'ilmu baghyan baynahum waman yakfur bi-aayaati allaahi fa-inna allaaha saree'u al-hisaab.
Surely the (true) religion with Allah is Islam, and those to whom the Book had been given did not show opposition but after knowledge had come to them, out of envy among themselves; and whoever disbelieves in the communications of Allah then surely Allah is quick in reckoning.
دین اللہ کے نزدیک صرف اسلام ہے اور اہل کتاب نے علم آنے کے بعد ہی جھگڑا شروع کیا ہے صرف آپس کی شرارتوں کی بناء پر اور جو بھی آیاتِ الٰہی کا انکار کرے گا تو خدا بہت جلد حساب کرنے والا ہے۔
