Aw kazulumaatin fee bahrin lujjiyyin yaghshaahu mawjun min fawqihee mawjun min fawqihee sahaabun zulumaatun ba'duhaa fawqa ba'din izaa akhraja yadahoo lam yakad yaraahaa waman lam yaj'ali allaahu lahoo nooran famaa lahoo min noor
Or like utter darkness in the deep sea: there covers it a wave above which is another wave, above which is a cloud, (layers of) utter darkness one above another; when he holds out his hand, he is almost unable to see it; and to whomsoever Allah does not give light, he has no light.
یا ان اعمال کی مثال اس گہرے دریا کی تاریکیوں کی ہے جسے ایک کے اوپر ایک لہر ڈھانک لے اور اس کے اوپر تہ بہ تہ بادل بھی ہوں کہ جب وہ اپنے ہاتھ کو نکالے تو تاریکی کی بنا پر کچھ نظر نہ آئے اور جس کے لئے خدا نور نہ قرار دے اس کے لئے کوئی نور نہیں ہے۔
