امام جعفر صادقؑ نے فرمایا : جب امام حسینؑ کے حرم میں جانے کا ارادہ کرو تو فرات کے کنارے پہنچو تو وہاں غسل کرو،کیوں کہ میرے پدر گرامی نے اپنے والد ماجد سے اور انہوں نے حضرت رسولؐ سے خبر دی ہے کہ آنحضرتؐ نے فرمایا: میرا بیٹا حسینؑ میرے بعد فرات کے کنارے شہید کیا جائے گا۔ لہٰذا جو شخص ان کی زیارت کو جائے اور فرات میں غسل کرے تو اس کے گناہ اس طرح دھل جائیں گے جیسے وہ اپنی ماں کے پیٹ سے پیدا ہوا تھا۔ جب وہ دریائے فرات پر غسل کرے تواس دوران یہ دعا پڑھے۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللهِ وَبِاللهِ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ نُوْرًا وَطَهُوْرًا وَحِرْزًا وَشِفَاءً مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ وَسُقْمٍ وَآفَةٍ وَعَاهَةٍ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ طَهِّرْ بِهٖ قَلْبِيْ وَاشْرَحْ بِهٖ صَدْرِيْ وَسَهِّلْ لِيْ بِهٖ اَمْرِيْ۔
Bismi allaahi wabillaah.
Allaahumma ij'alhu nooran watahooran wahirzan washifaa'an min kulli daa'in wasuqmin wa-aafatin wa'aahah.
Allaahumma tahhir bihee qalbee washrah bihee sadree wasahhil lee bihee amree.
In the Name of Allah, and by (the help of) Allah. O Allah, make it a light, a means of purification, a safeguard, and a cure from every illness, sickness, affliction, and weakness. O Allah, purify my heart with it, expand my chest with it, and make my affairs easy for me through it.
خدا کے نام اور خدا کی ذات سے اے معبود! قرار دے اس غسل کو روشن پاکیزہ اور شفا دینے والا ہر مرض ہر بیماری ہر آفت اور ہربرائی سے بچانے والا اے معبود! پاک کر دے اس سے میرے دل کو کھول دے اس سے میرے سینے کو اور اس کے ذریعے میرا کام آسان کردے۔
Wear pure clothes, but do not apply perfume and offer 2 rakat namaz. Now move towards the shrine with tranquility and solemnity. جب غسل کر چکے تو پاکیزہ لباس پہنے اور اس دریا کے کنارے دو رکعت نماز بجا لائے کہ یہ وہی زمین ہے جس کی شان خدا نے بیان کی ہے اورزمین کے کئی حصے آپس میں ملے ہوئے ہوتے ہیں، انگور کے باغ کھیتی اور کھجور کے درخت کہ بعض کی ایک جڑ دو شاخیں اور بعض کی ایک شاخ جب کہ وہ سب ایک ہی پانی سے سیراب کیے جاتے ہیں اور میووں میں سے بعض کو بعض پر ہم فوقیت وبرتری دیتے ہیں، جب نماز پڑھ لے تو امام حسینؑ کے حرم مبارک کی طرف آہستہ آہستہ چل کر جائے، کیوں کہ خدا تعالیٰ ایک ایک قدم کے بدلے میں حج و عمرہ کا ثواب عطا کرے گا چلتے ہوئے نہایت عاجزی و انکساری کے ساتھ ذکرِ خدا اور گریہ و زاری کرتا جائے اور کہے ۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ وَلَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ اَكْبَرُ، اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمّدٍ، سَلَامُ اللهِ عَلَی الْحُسَیْنِ وَعَلٰی اَوْلَادِ الْحُسَیْنِ وَعَلٰی اَصْحَابِ الْحُسَیْنِ وَلَعْنَۃُ اللهِ عَلٰی اَعْدَآئِهِمْ وَقَتَلَتِهِمْ اَجْمَعِیْنَ۔
Bismi allaahi wal-hamdu lillaahi walaa ilaaha illaa allaahu wallaahu akbaru, allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammdin, salaamu allaahi 'alaa al-husayni wa'alaa awlaadi al-husayni wa'alaa ashaabi al-husayni wala'natu allaahi 'alaa a'daa'ihim waqatalatihim ajma'een.
In the name of Allah, and all praise is for Allah, and there is no god but Allah, and Allah is greatest. O Allah send blessings upon Muhammad (s.a.w.a) and upon the progeny of Muhammad (a.s). Allah’s salutation on Husain (a.s) and on the children of Husain (a.s) and on the companions of Husain (a.s). And the curse of Allah be upon all their enemies and their killers.
اللہ کے نام سے اور حمد اللہ ہی کے لئے اور نہیں کوئی معبود سوائے اللہ کے، اور اللہ بزرگتر ہے۔ اے اللہ رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور آلِ محمدؑ پر۔ اللہ کا سلام ہو حسینؑ پر اور حسینؑ کی اولادوں پر اور حسینؑ کےساتھیوں پر۔ اور اللہ کی لعنت ہو ان کے تمام دشمنوں اور قاتلوں پر۔
Then recite each zikr 100 times…
پھر ہر ایک ذکر کو ۱۰۰ مرتبہ پڑھے۔۔۔
اَللہُ اَكْبَرُ۔
Allaahu akbar.
Allah is the greatest.
خدا بزرگ تر ہے۔
لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللہُ۔
Laa ilaaha illaa allaah.
There is no god save Allah.
اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
Also curse the enemy of Imam Husain (a)...
امام حسینؑ کے قاتلوں پر بھی لعنت بھیجے۔۔۔
وَلَعْنَۃُ اللهِ عَلٰی اَعْدَآئِهِمْ وَقَتَلَتِهِمْ اَجْمَعِیْنَ۔
Wala'natu allaahi 'alaa a'daa'ihim waqatalatihim ajma'een.
And the curse of Allah be upon all their enemies and their killers.
اور اللہ کی لعنت ہو ان کے تمام دشمنوں اور قاتلوں پر۔
On the instruction of Imam Sadiq (a) to Yusuf Kunnasi, it is recommended to enter the Holy shrine through eastern door.
امام صادقؑ نے فرمایا کہ جب بھی تم امام حسینؑ کے حرم میں داخل ہونا چاہو تو مشرقی دروازے سے داخل ہو۔
