Farewell Ziyarat
زیارتِ وداع
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا مَوْلَایَ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا حُجَّۃَ اللہِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا صِفْوَۃَ اللہِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا خَالِصَۃَ اللہِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا قَتِیْلَ الظَّمَآءِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا غَرِیْبَ الْغُرَبَآءِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ سَلَامَ مُوَدِّعٍ لَا سَئِمٍ وَلَا قَالٍ۔
As-salaamo a’laika yaa mawlaaya as-salaamo a’laika yaa hujjatal laahe as-salaamo a’laika yaa sifwatal laahe as-salaamo a’laika yaa khaalesatal laahe as-salaamo a’laika yaa qateelaz zama-aa-e as-salaamo a’laika yaa ghareebal ghorabaaa-e as-salaamo a’laika salaama mowadde-’in laa saa-emin wa laa qaalin.
Peace be upon you, O my master. Peace be upon you, O Allah’s Argument (against His creatures). Peace be upon you, O Allah’s choice. Peace be upon you, O Allah’s select. Peace be upon you, O victim of thirst. Peace be upon you, O strangest of all strangers. Peace be upon you; this is the greeting of one who has to bid farewell to you although he is neither bored with you nor tired of you.
آپ پر سلام ہو اے میرے مولا! آپ پر سلام ہواے خدا کی حجت! آپ پر سلام ہو اے خدا کے پسند یدہ!آپ پر سلام ہو اے خدا کے مقرب خاص! آپ پر سلام ہو اے تشنہ لب مقتول! آپ پر سلام ہو اے تنہاؤں سے تنہا! آپ پر سلام ہواس وداع کرنے والے کا جو نہ تھکا ہے نہ اکتایا ہے۔
فَاِنْ اَمْضِ فَلَا عَنْ مَلَالَۃٍ وَاِنْ اُقِمْ فَلَا عَنْ سُوٓءِ ظَنٍّ بِمَا وَعَدَ اللہُ الصَّابِرِیْنَ لَا جَعَلَهُ اللہُ اٰخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنِّیْ لِزِیَارَتِكَ وَرَزَقَنِیَ اللہُ الْعَوْدَ اِلٰی مَشْهَدِكَ وَالْمَقَامَ بِفِنَآئِكَ وَالْقِیَامَ فِیْ حَرَمِكَ وَاِیَّاهُ اَسْئَلُ اَنْ یُسْعِدَنِیْ بِكُمْ وَیَجْعَلَنِیْ مَعَكُمْ فِیْ الدُّنْیَا وَالْاٰخِرَۃِ۔
Fa-in am-ze falaa a’n malaalatin wa in oqim falaa a’n sooo-e zannin bemaa wa-a’dallaahus saabereena laa ja-a’lahul laaho aakehral a’hde minnee le zeyaarateka wa razaqaneyal laahul a’wda ilaa mash-hadeka wal maqaama be fenaaa-eka wal qeyaama fee harameka wa iyyaaho as-alo an yus-e’danee bekum wa yaj-a’lanee ma-a’kum fid dunyaa wal aakherate.
If I leave (you), this is not because of weariness; and if I reside, this is not because of mistrusting the promise that Allah has made for the serene ones. May Allah not decide this time of my visit to be the last. May He endue me with more chances to return to your shrine, to reside in your courtyard, and to stay in your sanctuary. To Him do I pray to make me delightful with you and to include me with you in this world and in the Hereafter.
پس اگر میں جاؤں تو ا س کی وجہ کوئی رنج نہیں اور اگر ٹھہروں تو مجھے کوئی بدگمانی نہیں اس وعدے پر جو خدا نے صابروں سے کررکھا ہے خدا اس زیارت کو میرے لئے آپ کی آخری زیارت قرار نہ دے اور خدا مجھے آپ کی زیارت گاہ پر دوبارہ آنا نصیب کرے آپ کے آستانے پر حاضر ہونا اور آپ کے حرم میں قیام کرنا بھی اور اس سے سوال کرتا ہوں کہ مجھے آپ کے وسیلے سے خوش بخت بنائے اور دنیاو آخرت میں مجھ کو آپ کے ساتھ رکھے۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا مَوْلَایَ سَلَامَ مُوَدِّعٍ لَا قَالٍ وَلَا سَئِمٍ فَاِنْ اَنْصَرِفْ فَلَا عَنْ مَلَالَۃٍ وَاِنْ اُقِمْ فَلَا عَنْ سُوْٓءِ ظَنٍّ بِمَا وَعَدَ اللہُ الصَّابِرِیْنَ یَا مَوْلَایَ لَا جَعَلَهُ اللہُ آخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنِّیْ لِزِیَارَتِكَ وَرَزَقَنِی الْعَوْدَ اِلَیْكَ وَالْمَقَامَ فِیْ كَرَمِكَ وَالْكَوْنَ فِیْ مَشْهَدِكَ اٰمِیْنَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِیْنَ۔
As-salaamo a’laika yaa mawlaaya salaama moo-de-i’n laa qaala wa laa sa-emin fa-in ansarif falaa a’n malaalatin wa in o-qim falaa a’n soo-e zannim bemaa wa-a’dal laahus saabereena yaa mawlaaya laa ja-a’lahul laaho aakheral a’hde minnee le-zeyaarateka wa razaqanil a’wda ilaika wal maqaama fee karameka wal-kawna fee mash-hadeka aameena rabbal a’alameena.
Peace be on you, O my Master! This is the farewell salutation of the departing visitor, neither due to lack of interest, nor on account of fatigue; and if I go back, it is not because of uneasiness; and if I stay, it is not in view of the tempting persuasion which Allah has set forth for those who endure. O my Master! May Allah let not my this visit to you be the last one, but enable me to come back here again and again, visit your holy Haram and be near your resting abode. So let it be, O Lord of the worlds.
آپ پر سلام ہو اے میرے آقا وداع کرنے والے کا سلام اس کا جو دل تنگ نہیں اور نہ تھکا ہوا ہے پس اگر میں پلٹ جاؤں تو اس کی وجہ رنجش نہیں اور اگر ٹھہروں تو اس کی وجہ بد گمانی نہیں اس وعدے سے جو خدا نے صابروں سے کیا ہے اے میرے آقا خدا اس زیارت کو میرے لئے آخری زیارت قرار نہ دے وہ مجھے آپ کے حضور دوبارہ آنا نصیب کرے آپ کے حرم میں ٹھہرنے کا موقع دے اور آپ کے روضہ پر حاضری کی سعادت بخشے ایسا ہی ہو اے جہانوں کے رب۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا بَابَ الْمَقَامِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا شَرِیْكَ الْقُرْآنِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا حُجَّۃَ الْخِصَامِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا سَفِیْنَۃَ النَّجَاۃِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكُمْ یَا مَلَآئِكَۃَ رَبِّیْ الْمُقِیْمِیْنَ فِیْ هٰذَا الْحَرَمِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ اَبَدًا مَّا بَقِیْتُ وَبَقِیَ اللَّیْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ۔
As-salaamo a’laika yaa baabal maqaame as-salaamo a’laika yaa shareekal qur-aaane as-salaamo a’laika yaa hujjatal khesaame as-salaamo a’laika yaa safeenatan najaate as-salaamo a’laykum yaa malaaa-ekata rabbil moqeemeena fee haazal harame as-salaamo a’laika abadam maa baqeeto wa baqeyal laylo wan-nahaaro.
Peace be on you, O he at whose door all the faithfuls come to seek peace. Peace be on you, O he who is the part and parcel of the Holy Qur’an. Peace be on you, O he who is an evident proof of Allah for the antagonists. Peace be on you, O he who is the ark of salvation. Peace be on (all of) you, O Angels of my Lord, quartered in this Holy precinct. Peace be on you, forever, so far I am alive, and days and nights follow each other.
آپ پر سلام ہو اے اہل ِایمان کے مقام کے دروازہ، آپ پر سلام ہو اے ہم مرتبۂ قرآن، آپ پر سلام ہو اے دشمنوں پر حجت، آپ پر سلام ہو اے کشتی نجات آپ پر سلام ہو اے میرے رب کے فرشتو جو اس حرم میں مقیم ہیں سلام ہو آپ پر ہمیشہ ہمیشہ جب تک میں باقی ہوں اور رات دن باقی ہیں۔
اِنَّا لِلهِ وَاِنَّا اِلَیْهِ رَاجِعُوْنَ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّۃَ اِلَّا بِاللہِ الْعَلِیِّ الْعَظِیْمِ۔
Innaa lillaahe wa innaa elayhe raaje-o’ona wa laa hawla wa laa quwwata illaa billaahil a’liyyil a’zeeme.
We are from Allah and unto Him we return. There is no might, nor power, save with Allah, the highest High.
ہم خدا کے ہیں اور اسی کی طرف پلٹنے والے ہیں اور نہیں طاقت اور نہیں قوت مگر وہ جو خدا ئے بلند و بزرگ سے ملتی ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
