امام جعفر صادقؑ سے منقول ہے کہ امیر المومنین علی ابن ابی طالبؑ نے فرمایا جو شخص نماز کے لئے اٹھتے وقت اور نماز شروع کرنے سے پہلے یہ دعا پڑھے وہ محمدؐ وآل محمدؑ کے ساتھ ہوگا۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَتَوَجَّهُ اِلَيْكَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاُقَدِّمُهُمْ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ صَلَوَاتِىْ وَاَتَقَرَّبُ بِهِمْ اِلَيْكَ فَاجْعَلْنِىْ بِهِمْ وَجِيْهًا فِى الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِيْنَ مَنَنْتَ عَلَىَّ بِمَعْرِفَتِهمْ فَاخْتِمْ لِىْ بِطَاعَتِهِمْ وَمَعْرِفَتِهِمْ وَ وِلَايَتِهِمْ فَاِنَّهَا السَّعَادَةُ وَاخْتِمْ لِىْ بِهَا فَاِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ۔
Allaahumma innee atawajjahu ilayka bimuhammadin wa-aali muhammadin wa-uqaddimuhum bayna yaday salawaatee wa-ataqarrabu bihim ilayka faj'alnee bihim wajeehan fee ad-dunyaa wal-aakhirati wamina al-muqarrabeena mananta 'alayya bima'rifatihm fakhtim lee bitaa'atihim wama'rifatihim wa wilaayatihim fa-innahaa as-sa'aadatu wakhtim lee bihaa fa-innaka 'alaa kulli shay'in qadeer.
O Allah, I turn my face towards You in the name of Muhammad and Muhammad’s Household, present them before You before I begin my prayers, and seek nearness to You in their names. So, in their names, (please) make me of high regard with You in this world and the Hereafter and of those drawn near to You. You have endued me with the great favor of making me know them; so, (please) seal my life with obedience to them, recognition of them, and loyalty to them, because this is the true happiness. Therefore, (please) seal my life with these things, for You have power over all things.
اے معبود! میں محمدؐ وآل محمدؑ کے ذریعے سے تیری طرف رخ کر رہا ہوں میں نے انہیں نماز کے آگے رکھا اور ان کے وسیلے سے تیرا قرب چاہتا ہوں پس ان کے واسطے سے مجھ کو دنیا آخرت میں عزت دار اور مقرب قرار دے اور ان کی معرفت کرا کے تو نے مجھ پر احسان کیاہے پس میرا خاتمہ ان کی پیروی ان کی معرفت اور ولایت میں فرما کہ یہ خوش بختی ہے تو میرا خاتمہ اس پر کر يقينًا تو ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھتا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
Upon accomplishment of the prayer, the following supplicatory prayer may be said…
پس نماز بجا لائے اور اس کے بعد کہے۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِىْ مَعَ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ فِىْ كُلِّ عَافِيَةٍ وَبَلَآءٍ وَاجْعَلْنِىْ مَعَ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ فِىْ كُلِّ مَثْوًى وَمُنْقَلَبٍ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْ مَحْيَاىَ مَحْيَاهُمْ وَمَمَاتِىْ مَمَاتَهُمْ وَاجْعَلْنِىْ مَعَهُمْ فِى الْمَوَاطِنِ كُلِّهَا وَلَاتُفَرِّقْ بَيْنِىْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ اِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ۔
Allaahumma ij'alnee ma'a muhammadin wa-aali muhammadin fee kulli 'aafiyatin wabalaa'in waj'alnee ma'a muhammadin wa-aali muhammadin fee kulli mathwan wamunqalab.
Allaahumma ij'al mahyaaya mahyaahum wamamaatee mamaatahum waj'alnee ma'ahum fee al-mawaatini kullihaa walaatufarriq baynee wabaynahum innaka 'alaa kulli shay'in qadeer.
O Allah, (please) make me with Muhammad and Muhammad’s Household in every item of wellbeing and tribulation and make me with Muhammad and Muhammad’s Household in every place of returning and place of rest. O Allah, (please) make me live their lives and die their death, include me with them in all situations, and do not separate me from them. Verily, You have power over all things.
اے معبود! تو مجھ کو محمدؐ اور آل محمدؑ کے ساتھ رکھ ہر سہولت اور مشکل میں اور ہرمقام و منزل میں مجھ کو انہی کے ساتھ قرار دے۔ اے معبود! میری زندگی ان کی زندگی جیسی اور میری موت ان کی موت جیسی بنا دے اور ہر مقام پر مجھ کو ان کے ساتھ کر دے میرے اور ان کے درمیان دوری نہ ڈال يقينًا تو ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھتا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
