امام جعفر صادقؑ سے منقول ہے کی امير المومنين علی ابن ابی طالبؑ نے فرمايا جو شخص نماز کے لئے اٹھتے وقت اور نماز شروع کرنے سے پہلے يہ دعا پڑھے وه محمدؐ وآل محمدؑ کے ساتھ ہوگا۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَتَوَجَّهُ اِلَيْكَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاُقَدِّمُهُمْ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ صَلَوَاتِىْ وَاَتَقَرَّبُ بِهِمْ اِلَيْكَ فَاجْعَلْنِىْ بِهِمْ وَجِيْهًا فِى الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِيْنَ مَنَنْتَ عَلَىَّ بِمَعْرِفَتِهمْ فَاخْتِمْ لِىْ بِطَاعَتِهِمْ وَمَعْرِفَتِهِمْ وَ وِلَايَتِهِمْ فَاِنَّهَا السَّعَادَةُ وَاخْتِمْ لِىْ بِهَا فَاِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ۔
Allaahum-ma innee ata-wajja-hu ilaiy-ka be-mohamma-diw wa aale mohammadin wa o-qadde-mohum baiy-na ya-daiy sala-waatee wa ata-qarra-bo be-him ilaiy-ka faj’al-nee be-him wajee-han fid-dunyaa wal-aakhe-rate wa menal mo-qarra-beena ma-nanta ‘alaiyya be-ma’re-fate-him fakh-tim lee be-taa’ate-him wa ma’re-fate-him wa welaa-yate-him fa-inna-has sa’aa-dato wakh-tim lee be-haa fa-inna-ka ‘alaa kulle shai-in qadeer.
O Allah, I turn my face towards You in the name of Muhammad and Muhammad’s Household, present them before You before I begin my prayers, and seek nearness to You in their names. So, in their names, (please) make me of high regard with You in this world and the Hereafter and of those drawn near to You. You have endued me with the great favor of making me know them; so, (please) seal my life with obedience to them, recognition of them, and loyalty to them, because this is the true happiness. Therefore, (please) seal my life with these things, for You have power over all things.
اے معبود! ميں محمدؐ وآل محمدؑ کے ذريعے سے تيری طرف رخ کر رہا ہوں ميں نے انہيں نماز کے آگے رکھا اور ان کے وسيلے سے تيرا قرب چاہتا ہوں پس ان کے واسطے سے مجھ کو دنيا آخرت ميں عزت دار اور مقرب قرار دے اور ان کی معرفت کرا کے تو نے مجھ پر احسان کياہے پس ميرا خاتمہ ان کی پيروی ان کی معرفت اور ولايت ميں فرما کہ يہ خوش بختی ہے تو ميرا خاتمہ اس پر کر يقينًا تو ہر چيز پر قدرت رکھتا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
Upon accomplishment of the prayer, the following supplicatory prayer may be said…
پس نماز بجا لائے اور اس کے بعد کہے۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِىْ مَعَ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ فِىْ كُلِّ عَافِيَةٍ وَبَلَّاۗءٍ وَاجْعَلْنِىْ مَعَ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ فِىْ كُلِّ مَثْوًى وَمُنْقَلَبٍ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْ مَحْيَاىَ مَحْيَاهُمْ وَمَمَاتِىْ مَمَاتَهُمْ وَاجْعَلْنِىْ مَعَهُمْ فِى الْمَوَاطِنِ كُلِّهَا وَلَاتُفَرِّقَ بَيْنِىْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ اِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ۔
Allaahum-maj ‘al-nee ma’a mohammadiw wa aale mohammadin fee kulle ‘aafe-yatin wa ballaaa-in waj’alnee ma’a mohammadiw wa aale mohammadin fee kulle maswan wa mun-qalabin.
Allaahum-maj’al mah-yaaya mah-yaa-hum wa mamaa-tee mamaa-ta-hum waj’alnee ma’a-hum fil ma-waate-ne kulle-haa wa laa to farre-qa baiy-nee wa baiy-na-hum inna-ka ‘alaa kulle shaiy-in qadeer.
O Allah, (please) make me with Muhammad and Muhammad’s Household in every item of wellbeing and tribulation and make me with Muhammad and Muhammad’s Household in every place of returning and place of rest. O Allah, (please) make me live their lives and die their death, include me with them in all situations, and do not depart me from them. Verily, You have power over all things.
اے معبود! تو مجھ کو محمدؐ اور آل محمدؑ کے ساتھ رکھ ہر سہولت اور مشکل ميں اور ہرمقام و منزل ميں مجھ کو انہی کے ساتھ قرار دے۔ اے معبود! ميری زندگی ان کی زندگی جيسی اور ميری موت ان کی موت جيسی بنا دے اور ہر مقام پر مجھ کو ان کے ساتھ کر دے ميرے اور ان کے درميان دوری نہ ڈال يقينًا تو ہر چيز پر قدرت رکھتا ہے۔
