Dua before Qurbaani
دُعائے قربانی
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
وَجَّہْتُ وَجْہِیَ لِلَّذِیْ فَطَرَ السَّمٰوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضَ حَنِیْفًا مُسْلِمًا وَمَا اَنَا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِیْنَ اِنَّ صَلَاتِیْ وَنُسُكِیْ وَمَحْیَایَ وَمَمَاتِیْ لِلہِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِیْنَ لَا شَرِیْكَ لَہٗ وَبِذَالِكَ اُمِرْتُ وَاَنَا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِیْنَ۔ اَللّٰہُمَّ مِنْكَ وَلَكَ بِسْمِ اللهِ وَاللهُ اَكْبَرُ اَللّٰہُمَّ تَقَبَّلْ مِنِّیْ۔
Waj-jahto wajhe-hi lil-lazee fata-ras samaa-waate wal arze hanee-fan musle-man wa maa anaa minal mushre-keena inna salaa-tee wa noso-kee wa mah-yaaya wa mamaa-tee lil-laahe rabbil aa’lamee-na laa sharee-ka lahu wa be-zaale-ka omir-to wa anaa minal muslemeena.
Allaahumma minka wa laka bismillaa-he wal-laaho akbaro allaahumma ta-qabbal minnee.
I turn my attention towards the One who has created the heavens and the earth as a true believer and a Muslim; and I am not among the polytheists, My prayer, hady, life and death are for Allah, the Sustainer of the worlds. He has no partner and so have I been ordered and I am of those who have submitted to You. O Allah all this is from and for You. BISMILLAA-HE WAL-LAAHO AKBAR (I commence in the Name of Allah and Allah is greatest). O Allah! accept my devotions.
میں نے اپنا رخ اس اللہ کی طرف کیا جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو پیدا کیا، میں باطل سے کترانے والا مسلمان ہوں، مشرکین میں سے نہیں، یقینًا میری نماز، میری عبادت، میری زندگی اور میری موت سب کچھ اللہ کے لئے ہے جو تمام عالمین کا پالنے والا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں ہے، مجھے یہی حکم دیا گیا ہے اور میں مسلمانوں میں سے ہوں۔ خدایا! یہ حکم قربانی اور یہ اطاعت تیرے لئے ہے۔ بسم اللہ واللہ اکبر، اے اللہ! تو میری طرف سے اسے قبول فرما۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
One should sacrifice himself and if not possible then keep his hands over the hands of person sacrificing it and say…
اَللّٰہُمَّ تَقَبَّلْ مِنِّیْ كَمَا تَقَبَّلْتَ مِنْ اِبْرَاہِیْمَ خَلِیْلِكَ وَمُوْسٰی كَلِیْمِكَ وَمُحَمَّدٍ حَبِیْبِكَ صَلَّی اللهُ عَلَیْہِ وَعَلَیْہِمْ۔
Allaahumma ta-qabbal minnee kamaa ta-qabbal-ta min ibraa-heema khaleele-ka wa moosaa kaleeme-ka wa mohammadin habee-beka sallal laaho a’laihe wa a’lai-him.
O Allah! accept my devotions, as you accepted from Ibrahim Khalilullah, and from Musa Kalimullah, and from Muhammad Habibullah (s.a.w.a).
خدایا! تو میری طرف سے قبول کر جیسے تو نے اپنے خلیل ابراہیمؑ، اور اپنے کلیم موسٰیؑ اور اپنے حبیب حضرت محمد ؐ کی طرف سے قبول فرمایا۔
