قطب راوندی نے امام جعفر صادقؑ سے روايت کی ہے کہ جب تمہيں کوئی سخت مصيبت درپيش ہويا انتہائی غم و اندوه لاحق ہوتو زمین پر سجدے میں جاکر کہو۔۔۔

يَا مُذِلَّ كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ يَا مُعِزَّ كُلِّ ذَلِيْلٍ قَدْ وَحَقِّكَ بَلَغَ مَجْهُوْدِىْ فَصَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَفَرِّجْ عَنِّىْ۔

Yaa mozilla kulle jabbaa-rin yaa mo’izza kulle zalee-lin qad wa haqqek bala-gha maj-hoodee fa-salle ‘alaa mohammadiw wa aale mohammadin wa farrij ‘annee.

O Humiliator of every tyrant, O Giver of honor to every humble one by Your right, I have reached the limit of my strength. So send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and grant me relief (remove my distress).

اے ہر جبار کو ذليل کرنے والے ہرذليل کو عزت دينے والے تيرے حق کی قسم کہ میں بے بس ہوگيا پس تومحمدؐ و آل محمدؑپر رحمت نازل فرما اور مجھے کشادگی عطا فرما۔

In the book of ‘Uddat Dai, Imam Sadiq (a) is reported to have said, “Anyone who is afflicted by a disaster, a misfortune, or a tribulation may bare his knees and arms to the elbows and stick them, as well as his chest, to the ground and supplicate for the settlement of his problem.”

عدة الداعی میں آپؑ ہی سے روايت ہے کہ جب کسی شخص کو کوئی مصيبت آپڑے يا کوئی مشکل پيش آجائے يا کوئی رنج و غم پريشان کرنے لگے تو وه اپنے گھٹنوں تک اور کہنيوں تک کپڑا ہٹائے اور ان کو زمین پر لگادے اپنا سينہ زمین سے لگا دے اور خدا سے اپنی حاجات طلب کرے۔
