Syed Ali bin Taoos says: Abu Mohammad Saymari has said: Abu Abdullah, Ahmad bin Abdullah Bajli has said with an authority chain that reaches the Imams (a) that: If it is possible for a person to offer a prayer (he may offer 2 rakats each day) apart from the 5 obligatory ones and the Nawafil, and dedicate it to one of the Holy Imams (a), he should begin this prayer in the 1st rakat just like the beginning of the obligatory prayer with 7 or 3 or 1 Takbeer, then after reciting the Zikr (Surahs), Ruku and Sajdah, he should say 3 times…
سید بن طاوؤس فرماتے ہیں کہ ابو محمد صمیری سلسلہ سند کے ساتھ ائمہ معصومین سے نقل کرتے ہیں فرماتے ہیں اگر ممکن ہو نماز واجب اور نافلہ نماز میں اضافہ کرنا۔ تو اضافہ کرے اگر چہ ۲ رکعت کی مقدار پر زور بجالائے اور اس کو ہر روز آئمہ معصومین کی خدمت میں ہدیہ بھیجے اس طریقے پر کہ اپنی نماز کو پہلی رکعت میں شروع کرے واجب نماز کی طرح ۷ مرتبہ تکبیر یا ۳ مرتبہ یا ایک مرتبہ رکوع وسجود کے ذکر کے بعد ۳ مرتبہ کہے۔۔۔
صَلَّی اللهُ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِهِ الطَّیِّبِیْنَ الطَّاهِرِیْنَ۔
Sallaa allaahu 'alaa muhammadin wa-aalihi at-tayyibeena at-taahireen.
May Allah bestow mercy upon Mohammad (s.a.w.a) and his pure and eminent Progeny (a.s).
پروردگار! تو رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور ان کی پاک و پاکیزہ آلؑ پر۔

پس تشہد اور سلام کے بعد چودہویں دن کے بعد نماز امام حاضر کی خدمت میں ہدیہ کرے اور کہے۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اَنْتَ السَّلَامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلَامُ، یَا ذَالْجَلَالِ وَالْاِكْرَامِ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ الطَّیِّبِیْنَ الطَّاهِرِیْنَ الْاَخْیَارِ، وَاَبْلِغْهُمْ مِنِّیْ اَفْضَلَ التَّحِیَّۃِ وَالسَّلَامِ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنَّ هَاتَیْنِ الرَّكْعَتَیْنِ هَدِیَّۃٌ مِنِّیْ اِلٰی عَبْدِكَ وَابْنِ عَبْدِكَ وَ وَلِیِّكَ وَابْنِ وَلِیِّكَ سِبْطِ نَبِیِّكَ فِیْ اَرْضِكَ وَحُجَّتِكَ عَلٰی خَلْقِكَ، یَا وَلِیَّ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ، یَا وَلِیَّ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ، یَا وَلِیَّ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ۔
Allaahumma anta as-salaamu waminka as-salaamu, yaa zaljalaali wal-ikraami salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammadin at-tayyibeena at-taahireena al-akhyaari, wa-ablighhum minnee afdala at-tahiyyati was-salaam.
Allaahumma inna haatayni ar-rak'atayni hadiyyatun minnee ilaa 'abdika wabni 'abdika wa waliyyika wabni waliyyika sibti nabiyyika fee ardika wahujjatika 'alaa khalqika, yaa waliyya al-mu'mineena, yaa waliyya al-mu'mineena, yaa waliyya al-mu'mineen.
O Allah! You are Peace and the Peace is from You, O holder of dignity and honor, bless Mohammad and the progeny of Mohammad (s.a.w.a), the good, the pure, the chosen, and extend the best of greetings and blessings from me to them. O Allah these two units of prayers are dedicated from me to your servant and the son of your servant, your guardian and the son of your guardian, the grandson of your Prophet, your authority on earth and your proof on your entire creation, O guardian of believers, O guardian of believers, O guardian of believers.
اے اللہ! تو ہی سلام ہے اور تجھی سے سلام ہے۔ اے جلال و اکرام کے مالک! محمدؐ اور آلِ محمدؑ پر درود بھیج، جو پاکیزہ، طاہر اور برگزیدہ ہیں، اور میری طرف سے اُن تک بہترین تحیت اور سلام پہنچا دے۔ اے اللہ! بے شک یہ دو رکعتیں میری جانب سے ایک ہدیہ ہیں تیرے بندے، تیرے بندے کے فرزند، تیرے ولی اور تیرے ولی کے فرزند، تیرے نبی کے نواسے، تیری زمین میں (تیری حجت) اور تیری مخلوق پر تیری دلیل کے لیے۔ اے مؤمنین کے ولی! اے مؤمنین کے ولی! اے مؤمنین کے ولی!
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
