Durood on Imam Hasan (a) & Imam Husain (a).
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى الْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ عَبْدَيْكَ وَ وَلِيَّيْكَ وَابْنَيْ رَسُولِكَ وَسِبْطَيِ الرَّحْمَةِ وَسَيِّدَيْ شَبَابِ اَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ اَفْضَلَ مَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلٰى اَحَدٍ مِّنْ اَوْلَادِ النَّبِيِّيْنَ وَالْمُرْسَلِينَ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى الْحَسَنِ ابْنِ سَيِّدِ النَّبِيِّيْنَ وَ وَصِيِّ اَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ۔
Allaahumma salle a’lal hasane wal husaine a’b-daiy-ka wa waliyya-ka wab-naiy rasoole-ka wa seeb-ta-yir rahmate wa sayya-day sha-baabe ahlil jannate af-zala maa sal-laiy-ta a’laa aha-din min awlaa-din nabiy-yeena wal mursa-leena.
Allaahumma salle a’lal hasanib-ne sayyedin nabiy-yeena wa wasiyye ameeril mo-meneena.
O Allah, (please) send blessings upon al-Hasan and al-Hussain, Your two servants and friends, the two sons of Your Messengers, the two grandsons of Mercy, and the two chiefs of the youth of Paradise, with the most excellent blessings that You have ever sent upon any of the sons of the Prophets and the Messengers. O Allah, (please) send blessings upon al-Hasan the son of the chief of the Prophets and the successor of the Commander of the Faithful.
اے معبود! حسنؑ اور حسینؑ پر درود بھیج جو دونوں تیرے بندے تیرےمحبوب تیرے رسولؐ کے بیٹے رحمت والے نواسے اور جوانان ِجنت کے سید و سردار ہیں ان پر بہترین رحمت فرما جیسی رحمت تو نے نبیوں اور رسولوں کی اولاد میں سے کسی پر بھیجی ہو اے معبود! امام حسنؑ پر درود بھیج جو نبیوں کے سردار کے فرزند ہیں اور مومنوں کے امیرؑ کے جانشین ہیں۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ۔ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ سَيِّدِ الْوَصِيِّيْنَ۔ اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ يَا بْنَ اَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ اَمِيْنُ اللهِ وَابْنُ اَمِيْنِهٖ عِشْتَ رَشِيْدًا مَّظْلُوْمًا وَمَضَيْتَ شَهِيْدًا۔ وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ الْاِمَامُ الزَّكِيُّ الْهَادِي الْمَهْدِيُّ۔
As-salaamo a’laika yabna rasoolil laahe.
As-salaamo a’laika yabna sayyedil wasiy-yeena.
Ash-hado anna-ka yabna ameeril mo-meneena amee-nul laahe wabno ameene-hi i’sh-ta rashee-dan mazloo-man wa ma-zaiy-ta shahee-dan.
Wa ash-hado anna-kal imaamuz zakiy-yul haadil mah-diy-yo.
Peace be upon you, O son of Allah’s Messenger. Peace be upon you, O son of the chief of the Prophets’ successors. I bear witness that you are verily the son of the Commander of the Faithful, the trustee of Allah, and the son of His trustee. You lived upright and persecuted and passed away as martyr. And I bear witness that you are verily the pure, guiding, and well-guided leader.
آپ پر سلام ہو اے رسول خداؐ کے فرزند آپ پر سلام ہو اے اوصیاء کے سردار کے فرزند میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ مومنوں کے امیر کے فرزند خدا کے امانت دار اور اس کے امین کے فرزند ہیں آپ دنیا میں مظلوم جیے اور شہید ہو کر گزرے میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ امامؑ ہیں پاک شدہ ہدایت دینے والے ہدایت یافتہ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ وَبَلِّغْ رُوْحَهٗ وَجَسَدَهٗ عَنِّيْ فِيْ هٰذِهِ السَّاعَةِ اَفْضَلَ التَّحِيَّةِ وَالسَّلَامِ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ الْمَظْلُوْمِ الشَّهِيْدِ قَتِيْلِ الْكَفَرَةِ وَطَرِيْحِ الْفَجَرَةِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا اَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ اَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ۔
Allaahumma salle a’laihe wa balligh rooha-hu wa jasada-hu a’nnee fee haaze-his saa-a’te afza-lat tahiyya-te was salaame.
Allaahumma salle a’lal husainib-ne a’liyye-nil mazloo-mish shahee-de qatee-lil ka-fara-te wa taree-hil faja-ra-te.
As-salaamo a’laika yaa abaa a’bdil laahe.
As-salaamo a’laika yabna rasoolil laahe.
As-salaamo a’laika yabna ameeril mo-meneena.
O Allah, (please) send blessings upon him and convey to his soul and body at this hour the best greeting and salutation from me. O Allah, (please) send blessings upon al-Hussain the son of Ali, the oppressed, the martyr, the slain by the unbelievers, and the thrown down by the sinful people. Peace be upon you, O Aba-Abdullah. Peace be upon you, O son of Allah’s Messenger. Peace be upon you, O son of the Commander of the Faithful.
اے معبود! ان پر رحمت نازل کر اور ان کی روح اور ان کے جسم کو میری طرف سے اس لمحے میں بہترین درود و سلام اور آداب پہنچا دے اے معبود! امام حسینؑ فرزند علیؑ پر درود بھیج جو مظلومیت کی حالت میں شہید ہوئے بے دینوں نے انہیں قتل کیا اور بدکاروں نے ساتھ چھوڑدیا آپ پر سلام ہو اے ابو عبداﷲؑ! آپ پر سلام ہو اے رسول خداؐ کے فرزند آپ پر سلام ہو اے مومنوں کے امیرؑ کے فرزند۔
اَشْهَدُ مُوْقِنًا اَنَّكَ اَمِيْنُ اللهِ وَابْنُ اَمِيْنِهٖ قُتِلْتَ مَظْلُوْمًا وَمَضَيْتَ شَهِيْدًا وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى الطَّالِبُ بِثَارِكَ وَمُنْجِزٌ مَّا وَعَدَكَ مِنَ النَّصْرِ وَالتَّايِيْدِ فِيْ هَلَاكِ عَدُوِّكَ وَاِظْهَارِ دَعْوَتِكَ۔
Ash-hado mooqe-nan anna-ka ameenul laahe wabno ameene-hi qo-til-ta mazloo-man wa mazai-ta shahee-dan wa ash-hado annal laaha ta-aa’lat taale-bo be-saare-ka wa munje-zoon maa wa a’da-ka minan nasre wattaa-yiy-de fee halaa-ke a’doowe-ka wa iz-haare da’wate-ka.
I bear witness with full conviction that you are verily the trustee of Allah and the son of His trustee. You were killed wrongly and you passed away as martyr. I also bear witness that Allah the All-exalted is the One Who shall avenge You and shall fulfill His promise to You of support and victory through exterminating your enemies and demonstrating your call (to the true guidance).
میں گواہی دیتا ہوں یقین کے ساتھ کہ آپ خدا کے امانت دار اور اس کے امین کے فرزند ہیں آپ مظلومی میں قتل ہوئے اور شہادت پا کر گزرے ہیں میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ خدائے تعالیٰ آپ کے خون کا بدلہ لے گا اور وہ آپ سے کیاہوا وعدہ پورا کرتے ہوئے آپ کے دشمن کی تباہی اور آپ کی دعوت کے اظہارکے لئے مدد اور قوت دے گا۔
وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ وَفَيْتَ بِعَهْدِ اللهِ وَجَاهَدْتَ فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللهِ وَعَبَدْتَ اللهَ مُخْلِصًا حَتّٰى اَتَاكَ الْيَقِيْنُ لَعَنَ اللهُ اُمَّةً قَتَلَتْكَ وَلَعَنَ اللهُ اُمَّةً خَذَلَتْكَ۔ وَلَعَنَ اللهُ اُمَّةً اَلَّبَتْ عَلَيْكَ وَاَبْرَاُ اِلَى اللهِ تَعَالٰى مَمَّنْ كَذَّبَكَ وَاسْتَخَفَّ بِحَقِّكَ وَاسْتَحَلَّ دَمَكَ۔
Wa ash-hado anna-ka wa faiy-ta be-a’h-dil laahe wa jaa-had-ta fee sabee-lil laahe wa a’bad-tal laaha mukhle-san hattaa ataa-kal yaqee-no la-a’nal laaho umma-tan khaza-latka.
Wa la-a’nal laaho umma-tan alla-bat a’laika wa abraa-o ilal laahe ta-aa’laa mam-man kazza-ba-ka was ta-khaffa be-haqqe-ka was ta-halla dama-ka.
I also bear witness that you fulfilled your covenant with Allah, strove hard for His sake, and served Allah sincerely until death came upon you. May Allah curse the people who killed you. May Allah curse the people who disappointed you. May Allah curse the people who incited people against you. I release myself before Allah the All-exalted from those who belied you, belittled your right, and allowed themselves to shed your blood.
میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ نے خدا سے کیا ہواعہد و پیمان پورا کیا خدا کی راہ میں جہاد کیا اور خدا کی پُر خلوص عبادت کرتے رہے یہاں تک کہ آپ شہید ہو گئے خد اکی لعنت ہو اس گروہ پر جس نے آپ کو قتل کیا خدا کی لعنت ہو اس گروہ پرجس نے آپ کا ساتھ نہ دیا خدا کی لعنت ہو اس گروہ پر جس نے آپ کا گھیراؤ کیا اور میں خدا کے سامنے بیزار ہوں اس سے جس نے آپ کو جھٹلایا آپ کے حق کی پرواہ نہ کی اور آپ کا خون بہایا۔
بِاَبِيْ اَنْتَ وَاُمِّيْ يَا اَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ لَعَنَ اللهُ قَاتِلَكَ وَلَعَنَ اللهُ خَاذِلَكَ وَلَعَنَ اللهُ مَنْ سَمِعَ وَاعِيَتَكَ فَلَمْ يُجِبْكَ وَلَمْ يَنْصُرْكَ وَلَعَنَ اللهُ مَنْ سَبٰى نِسَاءَكَ اَنَا اِلَى اللهِ مِنْهُمْ بَرِيْءٌ وَمِمَّنْ وَالَاهُمْ وَمَاَلَاهُمْ وَاَعَانَهُمْ عَلَيْهِ۔
Be-abee anta wa ummiyye yaa abaa a’bdil laahe la-a’nal laaho qaate-laka wa la-a’nal laaho khaaze-laka wa la-a’nal laaho man same-a’ wa e’yata-ka fa-lam yo-jibka wa lam yansur-ka wa la-a’nal laaho man sabaa nesaa-a-ka a-naa ilal laahe min-hum baree-oon wa mimman wa laa-hum wa maa-alaa-hum wa a-aa’na-hum a’lai-he.
May my father and mother be ransoms for you. Allah’s curse be on those who killed you. Allah’s curse be on those who let you down. Allah’s curse be on those who heard your call (for help), but they refrained from responding to you or supporting you. Allah’s curse be on those who captured your women. I disavow them all before Allah and disavow those who adhered to them, those who kept up with them, and those who helped them against you.
میرے ماں باپ آپ پر قربان اے ابوعبد اﷲؑ!خدا لعنت کرے آپ کے قاتل پر خدا لعنت کرے آپ کو چھوڑ جانے والے پر اور خدا لعنت کرے اس پر جس نے آپ کی پکار سنی تو جواب نہ دیا اور آپ کی مدد نہ کی اور خدا لعنت کرے جس نے آپ کی عورتوں کو اسیر کیا میں خدا کے سامنے ان سے بیزار ہوں اور ان سے بھی جو ان کے دوست ان کے ساتھی اور ان کے مددگار ہیں۔
وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ وَالْاَئِمَّةَ مِنْ وُلْدِكَ كَلِمَةُ التَّقْوٰى وَبَابُ الْهُدٰى وَالْعُرْوَةُ الْوُثْقٰى وَالْحُجَّةُ عَلٰى اَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا۔ وَاَشْهَدُ اَنِّيْ بِكُمْ مُؤْمِنٌ وَبِمَنْزِلَتِكُمْ مُوْقِنٌ وَلَكُمْ تَابِعٌ بِذَاتِ نَفْسِيْ وَشَرَائِعِ دِيْنِيْ وَخَوَاتِيْمِ عَمَلِيْ وَمُنْقَلَبِيْ وَمَثْوَايَ فِيْ دُنْيَايَ وَآخِرَتِيْ۔
Wa ash-hado anna-ka wal aimma-ta min wulde-ka kalema-tut taqwaa wa baabul hodaa wal u’r-wa-tul wusqaa wal hujjato a’laa ah-lid dunyaa.
Wa ash-hado annee be-kum mo-me-noon wa be-manze-la-te-kum mooqe-noon wa la-kum taabe-oo’n be-zaate nafsee wa sharaa-e-e’ deenee wa khawaa-te-him a’malee wa mun-qala-bee wa mas-waaya fee dunyaa-ya wa aakhe-ra-tee.
I also bear witness that you and the Imams from your descendants are the word of piety, the door to true guidance, the firmest handle, and the argument against the inhabitants of this world. I also bear witness that I have full faith in you, I have conviction in your standing, and I always follow you in myself, in the laws of my religion, in my sealing deeds, in my tour, and in my settlement in this worldly life and the Hereafter.
میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپؑ اور آپ کی اولاد میں سے ائمہؑ پرہیز گاری کی علامت ہدایت کا ذریعہ پائیدار سلسلہ اور دنیا والوں پر خد اکی حجت ہیں اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ میں آپ کا معتقد ہوں اور آپ کے مرتبے کا یقین رکھتا ہوں میں دل سے آپ کا تابع ہوں میں احکام دین اور عمل کی جزااور بازگشت میں آپؑ کاتابع ہوں دنیا و آخرت میں۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
