Lakal mahmadato in ata’toka
لَكَ الْمَحْمَدَةُ اِنْ
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
لَكَ الْمَحْمَدَةُ اِنْ اَطَعْتُكَ وَلَكَ الْحُجَّةُ اِنْ عَصَيْتُكَ لَا صُنْعَ لِيْ وَلَا لِغَيْرِيْ فِيْ اِحْسَانٍ اِلَّا بِكَ يَا كَاۗئِنُ قَبْلَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَيَا مُكَوِّنَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ اِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّي اَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَدِيْلَةِ عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ الْمَرْجِعِ فِي الْقُبُوْرِ وَمِنَ النَّدَامَةِ يَوْمَ الْآزِفَةِ فَاَسْاَلُكَ اَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاَنْ تَجْعَلَ عَيْشِيْ عِيْشَةً نَقِيَّةً وَمِيْتَتِيْ مِيْتَةً سَوِيَّةً وَمُنْقَلَبِيْ مُنْقَلَبًا كَرِيْمًا غَيْرَ مُخْزٍ وَلَا فَاضِحٍ۔
Lakal mah-madato in ata’toka wa lakal hujjato in a’saiy-toka laa sun-a’ lee wa laa le-ghairee fee ehsaa-nin illaa beka yaa kaa-e-no qabla kulle shai-in wa yaa mo-kawwena kulle shai-in innaka a’laa kulle shai-in qadee-roon.
Allaahumma innee a-oo’zo beka menal a’deela-te i’ndal mawte wa min sharril marje-e’ fil qoboore wa menan nadaa-mate yawmal aaze-fate fa-as-aloka an to-salle-ya a’laa mohjammadiw wa aale mohammadin wa an taj-a’la a’i-shee ee’sha-tan naqiyya-tan wa mee-tatee mee-tatan sawiyya-tan wa munqala-bee munqala-ban karee-man ghaira mukh-zin wa laa faaze-hin.
(O Allah,) If I obey You, then thanks to You, and if I disobey You, then You have the right (to punish me). All favors that are done to me or to anyone else must come from You. O He Who existed before all things! O Author of all things! Verily, You have power over all things. O Allah, I seek Your protection against deviation at (the hour of) death, evil recourse in the grave, and regret on the Day of the approaching doom. I therefore beseech You to send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and to make my life wholesome, my death sound, and my resort honorable; neither disgraceful nor scandalous.
حمد تیرے ہی لئے ہے اگر میں تیری اطاعت کروں اور اگر میں تیری نا فرمانی کروں تیرے لئے مجھ پر حق ہے تو نہ میں نیکی کر سکتا ہوں نہ کوئی اور نیکی کر سکتا ہے سوائے تیرے وسیلے کے اے وہ کہ ہر چیز سے پہلے موجود تھا اور تو نے ہر چیز کو پیدا فرمایا بے شک تو ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھتا ہے۔ اے معبود! میں تیری پناہ حاصل کرتا ہوں موت کے وقت حق سے پھر جانے سے اور قبر میں جانے پر ہونے والے عذاب سے اور قیامت کے دن کی شرمندگی سے تیری پناہ حاصل کرتا ہوں پس سوال کرتا ہوں تجھ سے کہ محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل فرما اور یہ کہ میری زندگی کو پاک زندگی اور موت کو عزّت کی موت قرار دے اور میری بازگشت کو آبرومند بنا دے کہ جس میں ذلت و رسوائی نہ ہو۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِهِ الْاَئِمَّةِ يَنَابِيْعِ الْحِكْمَةِ، وَاُوْلِي النِّعْمَةِ وَمَعَادِنِ الْعِصْمَةِ وَاعْصِمْنِيْ بِهِمْ مِنْ كُلِّ سُوْءٍ وَلَا تَأْخُذْنِيْ عَلٰى غِرَّةٍ وَلَا عَلٰى غَفْلَةٍ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ عَوَاقِبَ اَعْمَالِيْ حَسْرَةً وَارْضَ عَنِّيْ فَاِنَّ مَغْفِرَتَكَ لِلظَّالِمِيْنَ وَاَنَا مِنَ الظَّالِمِيْنَ۔
Allaahumma salle a’laa mohammadiw wa aale-hil aimma-te yanaa-bee-i’l hikmate, wa oolin mne’mate wa ma-aa’de-nal i’s-mate wa’sim-nee be-him min kulle soo-in wa laa taa-khuz-nee a’laa ghirra-tin wa laa a’laa ghafla-tin wa laa taj-a’l a’waaqe-ba a’maalee hasra-tan warza a’nnee fa-inna magh-fera-taka liz-zaale-meena wa anaa menaz-zaale-meena.
O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Muhammad and his Household; the Imams, the sources of wisdom, the causes of bliss, and the essences of immaculacy, and protect me, in their name, against all evils, do not seize me unexpectedly or inattentively, do not allow my end result to be regretful, and be pleased with me, for Your forgiveness is dedicated to the wrongdoers, and I am one of these wrongdoers.
اے معبود! محمدؐ اور ان کی آلؑ میں ائمہؑ پر رحمت فرما جو حکمت کے چشمے، صاحبانِ نعمت اور پاک بازی کی کانیں ہیں ان کے واسطے سے مجھے ہر برائی سے محفوظ فرما بے خبری میں، اچانک اور غفلت میں میری گرفت نہ کر میرے اعمال کا انجام حسرت پر نہ کر اور مجھ سے راضی ہوجا کہ یقینًا تیری بخشش ظالموں کے لئے ہے اور میں ظالموں سے ہوں۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِيْ مَا لَا يَضُرُّكَ وَاَعْطِنِيْ مَا لَا يَنْقُصُكَ فَاِنَّكَ الْوَسِيْعُ رَحْمَتُهُ الْبَدِيْعُ حِكْمَتُهٗ وَاَعْطِنِي السَّعَةَ وَالدَّعَةَ وَالْاَمْنَ وَالصِّحَّةَ وَالْبُخُوْعَ وَالْقُنُوْعَ وَالشُّكْرَ وَالْمُعَافَاةَ وَالتَّقْوٰى وَالصَّبْرَ وَالصِّدْقَ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلٰى اَوْلِيَاۗئِكَ وَالْيُسْرَ وَالشُّكْرَ وَاعْمُمْ بِذٰلِكَ يَا رَبِّ اَهْلِيْ وَ وَلَدِيْ وَاِخْوَانِيْ فِيْكَ وَمَنْ اَحْبَبْتُ وَاَحَبَّنِيْ وَ وَلَدْتُ وَ وَلَدَنِيْ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِيْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ۔
Allaahum-magh firlee maa laa ya-zurro-ka wa a’tenee maa laa yan-qoso-ka fa inna-kal wasee-o’ rahmato-hul badee-o’ hikmato-hu wa a’te-nis sa-a’ta wad da-a’ta wal amna was sehha-ta wal bo-khoo-a’ wal qonoo-a’ wash shukra wal mo-aa’faata wat taqwaa was sabra was sidqa a’laika wa a’laa awle-yaa-e-ka wal yusra wash shukra wa’mum be-zaaleka yaa rabbe ahlee wa waladee wa ikh-waanee feeka wa man ah-babto wa a-habba-nee wa walad-to wa walada-nee menal musle-meena.
Wal mo-meneena yaa rabbal aa’lameena.
O Allah, (please do) forgive me (my faults) which do not harm You and give me from that which does not cause decrease to You. Verily, You are the One Whose mercy is all-embracing and Whose wisdom is all-excellent. (Please do) grant me opulence, comfort, security, health, wholesomeness, contentment, thanksgiving, good health, piety, patience, belief in You and Your Saints, affluence, and thanksgiving. (Please do) include, O my Lord, with this (request) my family members (or my wife), my sons, and my brethren-in-faith as well as all those whom I love and those who love me and my offspring and all my fathers and mothers among the Muslims and the believers, O Lord of the worlds!
اے معبود!مجھے بخش دے جس کا تجھے ضرر نہیں اور عطا کردے جس کا تجھے نقصان نہیں کیوں کہ تیری رحمت وسیع اور حکمت عجیب ہے اور مجھے عطا فرما وسعت و آسائش، امن و تندرستی، عاجزی و قناعت، شکر اور معافی، صبر و پرہیزگاری اور تو مجھے اپنی ذات اور اپنے اولیا سے متعلق سچ بولنے کی توفیق دے اور آسودگی وشکر عطا فرما اور اے پالنے والے ان چیزوں کو عام فرما میرے رشتہ داروں، میری اولاد، میرے دینی بھائیوں کے لئے اور جس سے میں محبت کرتا ہوں اور جو مجھ سے محبت کرتا ہے اور جو میری اولاد ہے اور جس کی میں اولاد ہوں اور تمام مسلمانوں اور مومنین کے لئے اے عالمین کے پروردگار۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
