Namaz’e Zohr

نماز ظہر

1. The same etiquettes of performing the Dawn Prayer may be observed in performing the Noon Prayer. You may recite the Surahs with low voice except BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM. It is preferred to recite Surah Fateha and Surah Qadr at the first unit and Surah Fateha and Surah Ikhlaas at the second. After the tashahud statement in the second unit, you may add the following…

   پس اب نماز ظہر ادا کرنے میں مشغول ہو جائے اور جن باتوں کو نماز فجر میں ملحوظ رکھا تھا ، اس نماز میں بھی ان کا لحاظ رکھے البتہ’’بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ‘‘کے علاوه باقی سب چيزيں آہستہ سے پڑھے۔ بہتر يہ ہے کہ پہلی رکعت میں سورۂ فاتحہ کے بعد سورۂ قدر اور دوسری رکعت میں سورۂ فاتحہ کے بعد سورۂ اخلاص پڑھے، جب دوسری رکعت کا تشہد پڑھ چکے تو صلوات کے بعد کہے۔۔۔

2. وَتَقَبَّلْ شَفَاعَتَهٗ وَارَّفَعَ دَرَجٰتِهٖ۔

   WA TAQABBAL SHAFAA ‘ATA-HU WAR-RAFA’A DARA-JAATE-HI.

   And accept his intercession, and raise his ranks.

   تو پيغمبرؐ کی شفاعت قبول فرما اور انہيں بلند درجے عطا کر۔

3. You may then stand erect for uttering the 4 Words of Glorification 3 times…

   پھر کھڑے ہو کر ۳ مرتبہ تسبيحات اربعہ پڑھے۔۔۔

4. سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ وَلَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ اَكْبَرُ۔

   SUBHAANALLAHE WAL HAMDU LILLAAHE WA-LA ILAAHA ILLALLAAHU WALLAAHU AKBAR.

   All glory be to Allah, all praise be to Allah, there is no god save Allah, and Allah is the Greatest.

   پاک ہے اﷲاور حمد اﷲہی کے لئے ہے اور اﷲکے سوا کوئی معبودنہیں اور اﷲبزرگ تر ہے۔

5. It is better to add a statement of imploring Almighty Allah’s forgiveness (isteghfaar) to them in the intention of seeking nearness to Him. You may then genuflect and prostrate as has been previously instructed. You may then stand for performing the 4th unit as same as you have performed the 3rd. In this unit, you should say the statements of tashahud and salaam. You may then begin with the post-prayer utterances, uttering the Takbeer statement 3 times, saying the following doxologies, glorifying Almighty Allah with Tasbeeh’e Zahra (s), and then say any of the general post-prayer supplicatory utterances that you have said after the Dawn Prayer. You may then say the post-prayer utterances that are dedicated to the Noon Prayer. You may finally do the thanksgiving prostration…

   اگر قصد قربت سے استغفار کا اضافہ بھی کرے تو بہت ہی بہتر ہے، اس کے بعد رکوع و سجود انہی آداب کے ساتھ بجالائے جو ذکر ہو چکے ہيں۔ تيسری رکعت کے بعد چوتھی رکعت بھی اسی کے مطابق پوری کرے اور تشہد و سلام پڑھ کر نماز کو تمام کرے۔ نماز کے بعد تعقيبات پڑھے اور وه ۳ تکبيريں کہے جو تعقيبات میں مذکور ہيں پھر يہ پڑھے: بعد میں تسبيح حضرت زہراؑ اور تعقيبات مشتر میں سے دعائيں پڑھے۔ اس کے بعد نماز ظہر کی مختصر تعقيبات پڑھے اور ظہر کی تعقيبات پڑھے۔ تعقيبات کے بعد سجده شکر بجالاے۔۔۔

6. بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

   BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM

   In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

   اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

7. لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ اِلٰهًا وَّاحِدًا وَّنَحْنُ لَهٗ مُسْلِمُوْنَ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَلَا نَعْبُدُ اِلَّا اِيَّاهُ مُخْلِصِيْنَ لَهُ الدِّيْنَ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُشْرِكُوْنَ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّ آبَآئِنَا الْاَوَّلِيْنَ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَا اللهُ وَحْدَهٗ وَحْدَهٗ وَحْدَهٗ اَنْجَزَ وَعْدَهٗ وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهٗ وَاَعَزَّ جُنْدَهٗ وَهَزَمَ الْاَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهٗ فَلَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيِىْ وَيُمِيْتُ وَيُمِيْتُ وَيُحْيِىْ وَهُوَ حَىُّ لَايَمُوْتُ بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلٰی كُلِّ شَىْٓءٍ قَدِيْرٌ۔

   LAA ILAAHA ILLAL-LAAHO ILAA-HAN WAAHE-DAN WA NAHNO LAHU MUSLE-MOONA. LAA ILAAHA ILLAL-LAAHO WA LAA NA’BODO ILLAA IYYAA-HO MUKHLE-SEENA LAHUD DEENE KARE-HAL MUSHRE-KOONA. LAA ILAAHA ILLAL-LAAHO RABBO-NAA WA RABBO AABA-AA'e NAL AWWALEENA. LAA ILAAHA ILLAL-LAAHO WAHDA-HU, WAHDA-HU, WAHDA-HU AN-JAZA WA NASARA AB’DA-HU WA AAZ’ZA JUNDA-HU WA HAZA-MAL AHZAA-BA WAHDA-HU FALA-HUL MULKO WA LAHUL HAMDO YOHYEE WA YOMEE-TO WA YOMEE-TO WA YOHYEE WA HOWA HAIYYO LAA YAMOO-TO BE-YADE-HIL KHAIRO WA HOWA A’LAA KULLE SHAIY-IN QADEE-ROON.

   There is no god save Allah, the one true God. And, unto Him we have surrendered. There is no god save Allah. We do not worship but Him (alone), making the religion pure, for Him (only), however much idolaters may be averse. There is no god save Allah; our Lord, and Lord of our fathers of old. There is no god save Allah, and no other, Allah, and no other, Allah, and no other, (who) fulfilled his promise, helped his servant, loved dearly and backed up his troop, and put host of clans to flight, therefore to Him belongs the kingdom (sovereignty), unto Him (alone) belongs the praise. He gives life and causes death, puts to death and brings to life, He is ever living, dies not, in His hand ss the good; and He is able to do all things.

   خدا کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں وہی یکہ و تنہا معبودہے اور ہم اس کے فرما بردار ہیں خدا کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں ہم بس اسی کی عبادت کرتے ہیں اسی کے دین کے ساتھ مخلص ہیں خواہ مشرکین کو ناگوارہی لگے،خدا کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں جو ہمارا اور ہمارے آباؤاجداد کا رب ہے، خدا کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں جو یکتا ہے،واحد ہے، ایک ہے، اس نے اپنا وعدہ پورا کیا اپنے بندے کی نصرت فرمائی اپنے لشکر کو غالب کیا اور اکیلے ہی سب لشکروں کو مار بھگایا، پس ملک اسی کا اور حمد اسی کے لئے ہے وہی زندہ کرتا ہے اور موت دیتا ہے وہی موت دیتا ہے اور زندہ کرتا ہے وہ زندہ ہے اسے موت نہیں۔ خیر اسی کے ہاتھ میں ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔

8. اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔

   ALLAHUMMA SWALLE ALAA MUHAMMADIW WA AALE MUHAMMADIN

   Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.

   اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔

9. Upon accomplishment of the post-prayer utterances, you may ready yourself for performing the Afternoon (Asr) Prayer. The Afternoon obligatory, supererogatory prayers, and post- prayer utterances You may begin with offering the Supererogatory Afternoon Prayer, which consists of 8 units. After Surah Fateha it is highly advisable to recite Surah Nasr or Surah Fatah or Surah Takaasur, or a similar Surah in the first unit and Surah Fateha and Surah Ikhlaas in the second. Upon accomplishment, you may say any of the general post-prayer supplicatory utterances and the other supplications dedicated to the Afternoon Prayer, such as imploring Almighty Allah’s forgiveness 70 times ASTAGH-FERULLAAH and repeating Surah Qadr 10 times. You may then do the thanksgiving prostration.

   اور اس کے ساتھ ہی نماز عصر کے ليے تياری کرے اور سب سے پہلے ۸ رکعت نماز نافلہ عصر بجالائے اور اس کے بعد فريضہ عصر آداب کے ساتھ ادا کرے۔ بہتر ہوگا کہ پہلی رکعت ميں سورۂ فاتحہ کے بعدسورۂ نصر يا سورۂ تکاثر يا ايسی ہی کوئی سورہ پڑھے۔ دوسری رکعت میں سورۂ فاتحہ کے بعد سورۂ اخلاص پڑھے اور پھر نماز ظہر کی طرح عصر کی ۴ رکعتيں پوری کرے۔ ادائے نماز کے بعد تعقيبات مشترکہ اور نماز عصر کی مختصر تعقيبات بھی پڑھے کہ جن میں ايک يہ بھی ہے کہ ۷۰ مرتبہ استغفار پڑھے ۱۰ مرتبہ سورۂ قدر پڑھے اور پھر سجده شکر بجا لائے۔
