حضرت امیرلمو منین علی ابن ابی طا لبؑ سے ر و ا یت ہے کہ فر ما یا: جب کسی چیر نے پھا ڑ نے والے جا نو ر مثلاً شیر چیتے ا ور بھیڑئیے کو دیکھو تو یہ پڑھو۔۔۔
اَعُوْذُ بِرَبَّ دُانْيَالِ وَالْجُبَّ، مِنْ كُلِّ اَسَدُ مُسْتَاسَدُ۔
A’oozo be-rabba dun-yaale wal jubba, min kulle asa-do mustaa-sado.
I pray the protection of the Lord of Daniel and the well (in which Daniel was thrown with beasts) against all strong, ravenous lions.
پناہ لیتا ہوں دانیال کے رب اور کنویں کے رب کی ہر چیر نے پھاڑنے والے شیر سے۔

امام جعفرصادق ؑ فرماتے ہیں : جب کسی درندے کو دیکھوتو اس کے منہ پر آیت الکرسی اوریہ دعا پڑھ کرپھونکو، تو وہ درندہ واپس چلا جائے گا۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
عَزَمْتُ عَلَيْكَ بِعَزِيْمَةِ اللهِ وَعَزِيْمَةِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهٖ وَعَزِيْمَةِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ دَاوُدَ وَعَزِيْمَةِ اَمِيْرِالْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ عَلِىِّ بْنِ اَبِىْ طَالِبٍ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ وَالْاَئِمَّةِ الطَّاهِرِيْنَ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ مِنْ بَعْدِهٖ۔
‘azam-to ‘alaiy-ka be’azee-matil laahe wa ‘azee-mate mohammadin sallal laaho ‘alaiy-he wa aale-hi wa ‘azee-mate sulai-maa-nab ne daawu-da wa ‘azee-mate ameeril momeneena ‘aliyyib ne abee taale-bin ‘alai-his salaamo wal aimma-tit taahe-reena ‘alai-he-mus salaamo min ba’dehi.
I adjure you by the adjuration of Allah, the adjuration of Muhammad, Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Household, the adjuration of Solomon the son of David, the adjuration of the Commander of the Faithful `Ali the son of Abi-Talib, peace be upon him, and the adjuration of the immaculate Imams after him, peace be upon them.
میں نے تجھے باندھ دیا خدا کے ارادے سے محمد صلی اﷲ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ارادے سے اور سلیمانؑ ابن داؤدؑ کے ارادے سے مومنوں کے امیر علی ابن ابی طالب علیہ سلام کے ارادے سے اور ان کے بعد ہونے والے ائمہ طاہرینؑ کے ارادے کے ساتھ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
