It is narrated from Imam Muhammad Baqir (a) that Fatima lived for sixty days after the passing away of the Messenger of Allah (s) and then fell ill, when her illness intensified, she recited the following supplication…
امام محمد باقر علیہ السلام سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ والہ وسلم کی وفات کے ساٹھ دن بعد حضرت فاطمہ علیہا السلام بیمار ہوئیں۔ اور بیماری شدت اختیارکر گئی۔ تو اس وقت یہ دعا مانگی۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
یَا حَیُّ یَا قَیُّوْمُ، بِرَحْمَتِكَ اَسْتَغِیْثُ فَاَغِثْنِیْ، اَللّٰهُمَّ زَحْزِحْنِیْ عَنِ النَّارِ، وَاَدْخِلْنِی الْجَنَّۃَ، وَاَلْحِقْنِیْ بِاَبِیْ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّی اللهُ عَلَیْهِ وَآلِهٖ۔
Yaa hayyu yaa qayyoomu, birahmatika astagheethu fa-aghithnee, allaahumma zahzihnee 'ani an-naari, wa-adkhilnee al-jannata, wal-hiqnee bi-abee muhammadin sallaa allaahu 'alayhi wa-aalih.
O Ever Living, O (the) Eternal, I seek help through Your mercy, so help me. O Allah, keep me away from the fire and make me enter Heaven, and join me with my father Muhammad peace be on him and his progeny.
اے زندہ اے ہمیشہ رہنے والے میں تیری رحمت کی پناہ چاہتی ہوں، پس مجھے پناہ میں لے لو، پروردگار مجھے آگ سے دور رکھ۔ مجھے جنت میں داخل فرما مجھے اپنے پدر بزرگوار محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے ملحق فرما۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
