Abu-Hamzah Thumali has reported that he, once, stopped at the door of Imam Baqir’s house, waiting for permission to enter. The Imam (a) then came out while he was uttering something. “Have you heard these words of mine?” the Imam (a) asked. “Yes, I have. May Allah accept me as ransom for You!” answered Abu-Hamzah. The Imam (a) said, “I have been uttering some words that none says them but that Allah the All-exalted will save him from whatever distresses him, including the affairs of this world and the Next World.” “May Allah accept me as ransom for you.” said Abu-Hamzah, “Will you please teach me these words?” “Yes, I will,” responded the Imam (a), Whoever says these words before leaving his house, all his matters that concern him will be made easy…
ابو حمزہ ثمالی سے روایت ہے کہ میں نے امام محمد باقرؑ سے شرف یاب ہو نے کی اجازت طلب کی تو آپؑ گھر سے باہر آئے جب کہ آپؑ کے ہونٹ ہل رہے تھے آپؑ نے فرمایا :کیا تمہیں معلوم ہے کہ میں کیا پڑھ رہا تھا؟میں نے عرض کی :جی ہاں قربان جاؤں!میں نے سن لیا ہے فرمایا:میں وہ کلمات پڑھ رہا تھا کہ جو شخص بھی یہ کلمات زبان پر لائے تو حق تعالیٰ اس کی ہر مشکل آسان اور ہر حاجت پوری فرمائے گا۔ خواہ وہ دینی ہو یا دنیوی ہو۔میں نے عرض کیا: قربان جاؤں! وہ کلمات مجھے بھی بتائیے؟ آپؑ نے فرمایا : جو شخص اپنے گھر سے نکلتے وقت یہ کلمات اپنی زبان پر جاری کرے تو اس کی سبھی مشکلیں حل ہوں گی۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
حَسْبِیَ اللہُ تَوَکَّلْتُ عَلَی اللہِ۔
اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْئَلُکَ خَیْرَ اُمُوْرِیْ کُلِّھَا وَاَعُوْذُ بِکَ مِنْ خِزْیِ الدُّنْیَا وَعَذَابِ الْاٰخِرَۃِ۔
Hasbiya allaahu tawakkaltu 'alaa allaah.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka khayra umooree kullihaa wa-a'oozu bika min khizyi ad-dunyaa wa'azaabi al-aakhirah.
Sufficient to me is Allah. I put my trust in Allah. O Allah, I beseech You for success in all of my affairs and I pray Your protection against disgrace in this world and chastisement in the Hereafter.
مجھے اﷲکافی ہے میں اﷲپر بھروسہ کرتا ہوں اے معبود! میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں کہ میرے سب کام سنور جائیں اور تیری پناہ لیتا ہوں دنیاکی رسوائی اورآخرت کے عذاب سے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
