تحفۃ الزائر میں امام جعفر صادقؑ سے مروی ہے :کسی مومن کو جب کوئی حاجت درپیش ہو یا کسی معاملے میں خوف لاحق ہو تو وہ ایک کاغذ پر یہ عبارت لکھے۔ لفظ کذا و کذا کے بجائے اپنی حاجت کا تذکرہ کرے پھر اس کاغذ کو مٹی میں لپیٹ کر آبِ جاری یا کنویں میں ڈال دے۔ انشاء اللہ خداوند کریم جلد ہی یہ حاجت پوری فرمادے گا۔۔۔

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَتَوَجَّهٗ اِلَیْكَ بِلَا ثِقَۃٍ مِنِّیْ بِغَیْرِكَ وَلَا رَجَآئٍ یَاوِیْ بِیْ اِلَّا اِلَیْكَ وَلَا قُوَّۃٍ اَتَّكِلُ عَلَیْهَا وَلَا حِیْلَۃٍ اَلْجَآئُ اِلَیْهَا اِلَّا طَلَبَ فَضْلِكَ وَالتَّعَرُّضَ لِرَحْمَتِكَ وَالسُّكُوْنَ اِلٰی اَحْسَنِ عَادَتِكَ وَاَنْتَ اَعْلَمُ بِمَا سَبَقَ لِیْ فِیْ وَجْهِیْ هٰذَا مِمَّا اُحِبُّ وَاَكْرَهُ فَاِیُّمَا اَوْقَعَتْ عَلَیَّ فِیْهِ قُدْرَتُكَ فَمَحْمُوْدٌ فِیْهِ بَلَآئُكَ مُنْتَصِحٌ فِیْهِ قَضَاؤُكَ فَاَنْتَ تَمْحُوْا مَا تَشَآئُ وَتُثْبِتُ وَعِنْدَكَ اُمُّ الْكِتَابِ۔
Allaahumma innee atawajjahoo ilayka bilaa thiqatin minnee bighayrika walaa rajaa'in yaa wee bee illaa ilayka walaa quwwatin attakilu 'alayhaa walaa heelatin al-jaa'u ilayhaa illaa talaba fadlika wat-ta'arruda lirahmatika was-sukoona ilaa ahsani 'aadatika wa-anta a'lamu bimaa sabaqa lee fee wajhee haazaa mimmaa uhibbu wa-akrahu fa-iyyumaa awqa'at 'alayya feehi qudratuka famahmoodun feehi balaa'uka muntasihun feehi qadaa'uka fa-anta tamhoo maa tashaa'u watuthbitu wa'indaka ummu al-kitaab.
O Allah! I put my attention on You without trusting in any but You, with no hope that shelters me except in You, no strength I can depend on and no stratagem I can resort to, except seeking Your bounty, exposing myself to Your mercy and resting in the best of Your customs. And You are fully aware of what has been decreed for me in this journey of mine, of what I love and what I dislike, for whatever it includes Your examination whatever is worth the praise and Your judgement is commendable. You destroy whatever You wish and make whatever You wish and in Your control is the 'Lauhe-Mahfooz'.
بار خدایا! میں فقط تیری ہی طرف توجہ کرتا ہوں کہ سوا تیرے کسی غیر پر مجھے اعتماد نہیں نہ کوئی تمنّا کہ مجھے کہیں منزل گزین کر دے، نہ ایسی قوت جس پر بھروسہ کروں، نہ کوئی حیلہ کہ اس سے موقع نکالوں۔ صرف تیرے فضل کی طلب، تیری رحمت کا سامنا اور تیرے بہترین عادات سے اطمینان حاصل کرنے کی تمنّا ہے، اور تو خوب جانتا ہے کہ میری طرف سے جتنی اچھی یا بری باتیں ہو چکی ہیں، کیونکہ جن معاملات میں تیری قدرت مجھ سے متعلق ہو چکی ہے ان میں تیری آزمائشیں قابل تعریف، اور ان میں تیرے فیصلے پر خلوص ہیں۔ توہی جو چاہے مٹاتا اور جو چاہے تحریر فرماتا ہے، اور تیرے ہی قبضۂ قدرت میں لوح محفوظ ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَتَوَجَّهٗ اِلَيْكَ بِاَحَبِّ الْاَسْمَآءِ اِلَيْكَ وَاَعْظَمِهَا لَدَيْكَ وَاَتَقَرَّبُ وَاَتَوَسَّلُ اِلَيْكَ بِمَنْ اَوْجَبْتَ حَقَّهٗ عَلَيْكَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلِيٍّ وَفَاطِمَةَ وَالْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ وَعَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ وَجَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَمُوْسَى بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ وَعَلِيِّ بْنِ مُوْسٰى وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ وَعَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَالْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ وَالْحُجَّةِ الْمُنْتَظَرِ صَلَوَاتُ اللهِ عَلَيْهِمْ اَجْمَعِيْنَ اكْفِنِيْ۔۔۔
Allaahumma innee atawajjahoo ilayka bi-ahabbi al-asmaa'i ilayka wa-a'zamihaa ladayka wa-ataqarrabu wa-atawassalu ilayka biman awjabta haqqahoo 'alayka bimuhammadin wa'aliyyin wafaatimata wal-hasani wal-husayni wa'aliyyi ibni al-husayni wamuhammadi ibni 'aliyyin waja'fari ibni muhammadin wamoosaa ibni ja'farin wa'aliyyi ibni moosaa wamuhammadi ibni 'aliyyin wa'aliyyi ibni muhammadin wal-hasani ibni 'aliyyin wal-hujjati al-muntazari salawaatu allaahi 'alayhim ajma'eena ikfinee...
O Allah, I turn to You by the dearest of names to You and the greatest of them in Your sight. And I seek nearness to You and I beseech You through those whose right You have made obligatory upon Yourself: through Muhammad, Ali, Fatimah, Hasan, Husayn, Ali son of Husayn, Muhammad son of Ali, Ja‘far son of Muhammad, Musa son of Ja‘far, Ali son of Musa, Muhammad son of Ali, Ali son of Muhammad, Hasan son of Ali, and the Awaited Proof (al-Hujjah al-Muntazar) may Allah’s blessings be upon them all suffice me / protect me / take care of my need…
خدا کے نام سے شروع جو بڑا رحم والا مہربان ہے اے معبود! میں تیری طرف آیا ہوں تیرے سب سے پسندیدہ نام کے واسطے سےجو تیرے نزدیک سب ناموں سے عظیم ہے تیرا تقرب چاہا اور تیرے حضور وسیلہ بنایا ہے اس کو جس کا حق تو نے خود پر لازم ٹھہرایا وسیلہ بنایاہے محمدؐ، علیؑ ، فاطمہؑ ، حسنؑ ، حسینؑ ، کو اور وسیلہ بنایا ہے علیؑ ابن الحسینؑ، محمدؑ ابن علیؑ، جعفرؑ ابن محمدؑ کو اور موؑسیٰ ابن جعفرؑ، علیؑ ابن موسیٰؑ،محمدؑا بن علیؑ، علیؑ ابن محمدؑ اور حسنؑ ابن علیؑ کو اور وسیلہ بنایا ہے حجتِ منتظرؑ کو خدا کا درود ہو ان سب معصومینؑ پر خدایا! میرا یہ اور یہ کام بنا دے۔۔۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ فَاصْرِفْ عَنِّیْ مَقَادِیْرَ كُلِّ بَلَآئٍ وَمَقَاصِدَ كُلِّ لَاْوَآئٍ وَابْسُطْ عَلَیَّ كَنَفًا مِنْ رَّحْمَتِكَ وَسَعَۃً مِنْ فَضْلِكَ وَلُطْفًا مِنْ عَفْوِكَ حَتّٰی لَا اُحِبَّ تَعْجِیْلَ مَا اَخَّرْتَ وَتَاخِیْرَ مَا عَجَّلْتَ وَذٰلِكَ مَعَ مَا اَسْئَلُكَ اَنْ تَحْفَظَنِیْ فِیْ اَهْلِیْ وَوُلْدِیْ وَصُرُوْفِ حُزَانَتِیْ بِاَفْضَلِ مَا خَلَفْتَ بِهٖ غَآئِبًا مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ فِیْ تَحْصِیْنِ كُلِّ عَوْرَۃٍ وَسَتْرِ كُلِّ سَیِّئَۃٍ وَحَطِّ كُلِّ مَعْصِیَۃٍ وَكِفَایَۃِ كُلِّ مَكْرُوْهٍ وَارْزُقْنِیْ شُكْرَكَ وَذِكْرَكَ عَلٰی ذٰلِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ وَالرِّضٰی بِقَضَآئِكَ۔
Allaahumma fasrif 'annee maqaadeera kulli balaa'in wamaqaasida kulli la'waa'in wabsut 'alayya kanafan min rahmatika wasa'atan min fadlika walutfan min 'afwika hattaa laa uhibba ta'jeela maa akhkharta wataakheera maa 'ajjalta wazaalika ma'a maa as'aluka an tahfazanee fee ahlee wawuldee wasuroofi huzaanatee bi-afdali maa khalafta bihee ghaa'iban mina al-mu'mineena fee tahseeni kulli 'awratin wasatri kulli sayyi'atin wahatti kulli ma'siyatin wakifaayati kulli makroohin warzuqnee shukraka wazikraka 'alaa zaalika wahusni 'ibaadatika war-ridaa biqadaa'ik.
O Allah avert from me all the calamities and misfortunes away from me, cover me with the shade of Your mercy, grant me the vastness of Your grace and the honour of Your forgiveness so that I do not desire the hastening of that which You have delayed, nor the delay of that which You have hastened and with this I pray that You protect my family and all those who are near me in such a way that You have protected a believer who is not present, protection from every sin, covering of defects, forgiveness for every disobedience away from all those things which causes Your displeasure and grant me thankfulness to You and remembrance of You for that, good worship of You and contentment with Your decree.
خدا وندا! مجھ سے تمام بلاؤں کی قدروں اور ہر سختی کی غرضوں کو رد کر دے، میرے اُوپر اپنی رحمت کا سایۂ پناہ پھیلا دے، اپنے فضل کی وسعت اور اپنے عفو کی لطافت عطا فرما، تا کہ جس میں تو نے دیر کی ہو اس کی مجھے جلدی پسند نہ ہو، اور جس بات میں جلدی کی ہو اس کی تاخیر نہ چاہوں، اور اس کے ساتھ ساتھ اور یہ ہی دعا ہے کہ میری آل اولاد اور میرے قریب ترین عزیز داروں کی اس بہترین طریقے سے حفاظت فرما کہ جیسے اپنی مخلوق میں کسی ایسے مومن کی حفاظت فرمائی ہو جو موجود نہ ہو، ہر گناہ سے حفاظت، ہر عیب سے پردہ پوشی، ہر معصیت کی مغفرت، ہر ناپسند چیز سے کفایت عطا فرما، اور ان باتوں پر اپنا شکر و ذکر اور حسنِ عبادت اور راضی برضا ہونے کی توفیق دے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
یَاوَلِیَّ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَاجْعَلْنِیْ وَوُلْدِیْ وَمَا خَوَّلْتَنِیْ وَرَزَقْتَنِیْ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ فِیْ حِمَاكَ الَّذِیْ لَا یُسْتَبَاحُ وَذِمَّتِكَ الَّتِیْ لَا تُخْفَرُ وَجَوَارِكَ الَّذِیْ لَا یُرَامُ وَاَمَانِكَ الَّذِیْ لَا یُنْقَضُ وَسَتْرِكَ الَّذِیْ لَا یُهْتَكُ فَاِنَّهٗ مَنْ كَانَ فِیْ حِمَاكَ وَذِمَّتِكَ وَجَوَارِكَ وَسَتْرِكَ كَانَ اٰمِنًا مَحْفُوْظًا وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّۃَ اِلَّا بِاللهِ الْعَلِیِّ الْعَظِیْمِ۔
Yaa waliyya al-mu'mineena waj'alnee wawuldee wamaa khawwaltanee warazaqtanee mina al-mu'mineena wal-mu'minaati fee himaaka allazee laa yustabaahu wazimmatika allatee laa tukhfaru wajawaarika allazee laa yuraamu wa-amaanika allazee laa yunqadu wasatrika allazee laa yuhtaku fa-innahoo man kaana fee himaaka wazimmatika wajawaarika wasatrika kaana aaminan mahfoozan walaa hawla walaa quwwata illaa billaahi al-'aliyyi al-'azeem.
O the Guardian of the believers! Gather me, my children, and the believing men and women You have bestowed on me and granted me, keep them in Your protection, such that it is not overpowered by anyone and keep them under Your covenant which is never violated, under Your protection which none can assail, under Your curtain which never opens up, because he who comes under Your control, Your protection and Your care is safe and satisfied and power and strength is just for Allah the great and honoured.
اے مومنوں کے ولی! اور مجھے میری اولاد اور مملکات کو اور ان مومنین و مومنات جو میرے دست نگر ہیں اپنی اس حمایت میں قرار دے جو کسی کے قبضے میں نہیں آسکتی، اور اپنی اس ضمانت میں لے جو سُبک نہیں ہو سکتی، اپنے اس پڑوس میں جگہ دے جس پر حملہ نہیں کیا جا سکتا ، اپنی اس امان میں جو توڑی نہیں جا سکتی، اپنے اس پردے میں جو کھل نہیں سکتا کیونکہ جو شخص تیری حمایت و حفاظت، پڑوس اور پردے میں آجائے وہ محفوظ و مطمئن ہے۔ اور قوت و طاقت صرف بزرگ و برتر اللہ سے متعلق ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
