A supplication for the road to Arafat, said on the days of Hajj as the pilgrim moves out from Mina.
It opens by placing every hope in Allah and asking that those hopes be fulfilled and the reciter’s deeds set in order. It then praises Him for bringing the pilgrim to Mina in sound health and this far on the journey, and — standing at the place where the rites were granted — asks Him, by the grace He bestowed upon His prophets, for that same grace, the pilgrim naming himself only as one of His servants and within His power.

احرام کے بعد جب شہر مکّہ سے باہر آجائے اور ابطح کے نزدیک پہونچے تو بلند آواز میں تلبیہ (لبّیک) کہنا چاہیئے جب منٰی کے نزدیک پہونچے تو کہے۔۔۔
اَللّٰہُمَّ اِیَّاكَ اَرْجُوْ وَاِیَّاكَ اَدْعُوْ فَبَلِّغْنِیْ اَمَلِیْ وَاَصْلِحْ لِیْ عَمَلِیْ۔
Allaahumma iyyaaka arjoo wa-iyyaaka ad'oo faballighnee amalee wa-aslih lee 'amalee.
O Allah! I place all my hopes in You and supplicate to You. Fulfill my hopes and put my actions in order.
خدایا! میں تجھ ہی سے امیدیں باندھے ہوں اور تجھ ہی کو پکار رہا ہوں، مجھے میری آرزوؤں تک پہنچا دے اور میرے عمل کی اصلاح فرما۔
One should walk with a peaceful heart with dignity praising and glorifying Allah and upon reaching Mina say…
متانت و وقار کے ساتھ تسبیح و ذکر الٰہی کرتا ہوا منٰی کی جانب جائے جب منٰی پہونچے تو کہے۔۔۔
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلہِ الَّذِیْ اَقْدَمَنِیْہَا صَالِحًا فِیْ عَافِیَۃٍ وَبَلَّغَنِیْ ہٰذَا الْمَكَانَ۔
Al-hamdu lillaahi allazee aqdamaneehaa saalihan fee 'aafiyatin waballaghanee haazaa al-makaan.
All praise is due to Allah who brought me to Mina in sound health and got me thus far.
تمام تعریفیں اس خدا کے لئے جس نے مجھے منٰی کی توفیق دی اور خیر و عافیت سے مجھے اس مقام (منٰی) تک پہنچایا۔
Then say…
پھر کہے۔۔۔
اَللّٰہُمَّ ہٰذِہٖ مِنٰی وَہِیَ مِمَّا مَنَنْتَ بِہٖ عَلَیْنَا مِنَ الْمَنَاسِكِ فَاَسْئَلُكَ اَنْ تَمُنَّ عَلَیَّ بِمَا مَنَنْتَ عَلٰی اَنْبِیَآئِكَ فَاِنَّمَا اَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَفِیْ قَبْضَتِكَ۔
Allaahumma haazihee minaa wahiya mimmaa mananta bihee 'alaynaa mina al-manaasiki fa-as'aluka an tamunna 'alayya bimaa mananta 'alaa anbiyaa'ika fa-innamaa anaa 'abduka wafee qabdatik.
O Allah! this is Mina where You have graced us with performance of ceremonies. I beseech You for the grace You have bestowed on Your Prophets, for I am one of your servants and in Your power.
بار الٰہا! یہ منٰی کا مقام ہے جس کے سبب تونے ہم پر مناسک و اعمال کی توفیق دے کر کرم فرمایا ہے۔ خدایا! تو مجھ پر ویسے ہی کرم فرما جیسا کہ تونے اپنے انبیاء پر فرمایا ہے، میں صرف تیرا بندہ ہوں اور تیرے قبضۂ قدرت میں ہوں۔
It is recommended to stay at Mina on Arafah night and be engrossed in Allah’s obedience. It is better to recite invocations and especially the prayers in Masjid-e-Kheef. You can also do the amaal of Eve of Arafah and recite the Taqeebat till sunrise after the morning prayers.
شب عرفہ میدان منٰی میں رہنا اور عبادت الٰہی میں مشغول رہنا مستحب ہے۔ بہتر یہ ہے کہ عبادت، خصوصًا نمازیں مسجد خیف میں ادا کرے، اعمال شبِ عرفہ اور نماز صبح کے بعد طلوع آفتاب تک تعقیبات میں مشغول رہے۔
Then go to Arafaat. One can go even after dawn but it is recommended not to pass through Wadi Muhassir before sunrise. One should recite the following facing Arafaat…
اس کے بعد عرفات کے لئے روانہ ہو، طلوع فجر کے بعد بھی جانا چاہے تو جا سکتا ہے۔ اگرچہ سنّت یہ ہے کہ طلوع آفتاب سے پہلے وادیٔ محسّر سے عبور نہ کرے اور صبح صادق سے قبل عرفات کے لئے روانہ ہونا مکروہ ہے۔ جب میدان عرفات کا رخ کرے تو یہ دُعا پڑھے۔۔۔
اَللّٰہُمَّ اِلَیْكَ صَمَدْتُ وَاِیَّاكَ اعْتَمَدْتُ وَ وَجْہَكَ اَرَدْتُ اَسْئَلُكَ اَنْ تُبَارِكَ لِیْ فِیْ رِحْلَتِیْ وَاَنْ تَقْضِیَ لِیْ حَاجَتِیْ وَاَنْ تَجْعَلَنِیْ مِمَّنْ تُبَاہِیْ بِہِ الْیَوْمَ مَنْ ہُوَ اَفْضَلُ مِنِّیْ۔
Allaahumma ilayka samadtu wa-iyyaaka i'tamadtu wa wajhaka aradtu as'aluka an tubaarika lee fee rihlatee wa-an taqdiya lee haajatee wa-an taj'alanee mimman tubaahee bihi al-yawma man huwa afdalu minnee.
O Allah! I turn to You, repose trust in You and seek Your pleasure. I beseech You to bless my journey, fulfill my wishes and make me among those through whom You boast today before those better than me.
خدایا! میں تیری طرف نیاز مند ہوں اور تجھ پر اعتماد کئے ہوں، تیری زیارت و ملاقات کا ارادہ کیا ہے، تجھ سے چاہتا ہوں کہ تو میرے سفر کو برکتوں سے بھر دے اور میری حاجتوں کو برلا، آج جن لوگوں کے ذریعے تو اپنے سے افضل لوگوں پر فخر و مباہات کرتا ہے، مجھے ان میں قرار دے۔
