Ya man ilaihe malja-ul ebaadiسبب نماز واجن

In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

O He to whom the bondmen turn to in the event of urgent important matters; and unto whom run for help the people when the misfortune strikes! O He who knows the hidden as well as the evident! O He who is not unaware of the bias of the suspicious mind, and the clever activity of the fanciful deviating intellect! O Lord of the cosmos and the creatures dwelling therein! O He who exercises full authority over the domain of the heavens and the earths! Thou art Allah, There is no God save Thou, I stride apace unto Thee with “There is no god save Thou” (on my lips), therefore O "There is no god save Thou”, treat me tonight like the one whom Thou paid attention, took pity and heard his prayer, and, aware of his trembling, tolerated and overlooked his past misdeeds and many mistakes to give answer to his cry of help, I surrender myself to Thee along with my transgressions and make a request to please keep my defects undisclosed.

اے وہ جو مشکل کاموں میں بندوں کی پناہ گاہ ہے اور جس کی طرف لوگ ہر مصیبت کے وقت فریادی ہوتے ہیں اے سب چھپی اور کھلی چیزوں کے جاننے والے اے وہ جس پر لوگوں کے وہم و خیال اور دلوں میں گردش کرنے والے اندیشے بھی پوشیدہ نہیں۔ اے مخلوقات و موجودات کے پروردگار اے وہ ذات کہ زمینوں اور آسمانوں کی حکمرانی جس کے قبضۂ قدرت میں ہے تو ہی معبود ہے تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں میں تیری طرف متوجہ ہوں اس لیے کہ تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں پس اے (اﷲ) تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اس رات میں مجھے ان لوگوں میں قرار دے جن پر تو نے نظرِ کرم فرمائی تو نے ان پر مہربانی کی ان کی دعا سنی تو نے اسے شرفِ قبولیت بخشا تو ان کی پشیمانی سے آگاہ ہوا تونے انہیں معاف کردیا اور ان کے سب پچھلے گناہوں اور بڑے بڑے جرائم پر عفوودرگزر سے کام لیا پس میں اپنے گناہوں سے تیری پناہ کا طالب ہوں اور اپنے عیبوں کی پردہ پوشی کے لیے تجھ سے التجا کرتا ہوں۔

O my Allah put me again in good condition (because) Thou art Generous and kind, take off the loads of my errors (because) Thou art loving and oft-forgiving, cover me with Thy mercy tonight (because) Thou shows generosity in abundance, let me be tonight among Thy friends whom Thou elected to obey Thee, whom Thou selected to worship Thee, and kept them sincerely attached and committed to Thee. O my Allah let me be like the one who finds happiness in his efforts and makes full use of the good fortune made available to him, let me be like the one who kept from evil, therefore, lived a life free of cares; exercised self-control, therefore won easily. Spare and free me from the cravings I have accumulated, prevent me from the wasteful conduct that transgress Thy bounds, discipline me in Thy obedience which will direct me to Thy neighborhood, very near to Thee. My Lord and master with Thee the hunted refugee take refuge, the beseecher humbly makes a request to Thee, the repentant guilty, apologetic, relies on Thy liberal kindness, Thou trained and educated Thy servants thoroughly to be kind and liberal, Thou art the most kind of all those who show kindness; Thou developed Thy servants to be forgiving and compassionate, Thou art Oft-Forgiving, Merciful.

اے معبود! مجھ پر اپنے فضل و کرم سے عطا و بخشش فرما اور اپنی نرم خوئی اور درگزر کے ذریعے میری خطائیں بخش دے اس رات میں مجھ کو اپنے انتہائی کرم کے سائے تلے لے لے اور اس شب میں مجھے اپنے ان پیاروں میں قرار دے جن کو تو نے اپنی فرماں برداری کے لیے پسند کیا اپنی عبادت کے لیے چنا اور ان کو اپنے خاص الخاص اور برگزیدہ بنایا ہے۔ اے معبود! مجھے ان لوگوں میں قرار دے جن کا نصیب اچھا اور نیک کاموں میں جن کا حصہ زیادہ ہے اور مجھے ان لوگوں میں رکھ جو تندرست، نعمت یافتہ، کامیاب اور فائدہ پانے والے ہیں اور جو کچھ میں نے کیا اس کے شر سے بچا مجھے اپنی نافرمانی میں بڑھ جانے سے محفوظ رکھ مجھے اپنی فرماں برداری کا شوق دے اور اس کا جو مجھے تیرے قریب کرے اور مجھے تیرا پسندیدہ بنائے میرے سردار، بھاگنے والا، تیرے ہاں پناہ لیتا ہے طلب گار تیرے حضور عرض کرتا ہے اور پشیمان ہونے اور توبہ کرنے والا تیرے فضل و کرم پر بھروسہ کرتا ہے تو اپنی کریمی و مہربانی سے بندوں کی پرورش کرتا ہے اور تو سب سے زیادہ کرم کرنے والا ہے تو نے اپنے بندوں کو معاف کرنے کا حکم دیا اور تو بہت بخشنے والا رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

O my Allah do not keep from me that which I expect to get from Thy generosity, do not send me away from Thy boundless reservoir of bounties, do not exclude me from the share Thou distribute freely tonight to the people who obey Thee, and take me in under Thy sanctuary to protect me from the evil of the wild creatures. Lord! If I am not among the deserving, Thou art Liberal, indulgent, and Oft-Forgiving , so give me to my heart’s content in accordance with Thy (Omni) potence, not what I deserve; because my expectations are very high, my hopes live in hope of sure fulfillment, I cling to and hang on Thy liberal generosity, verily Thou art the most Merciful of all who show mercy, and the most generous of all who vie in generosity. O my Allah designate me clearly to obtain freely my share from Thy bounties. I seek refuge with Thy forgiveness to avoid the penalty Thou may decide, be lenient to me in the matter of sins that have wrapped up and held in check my refinement, and thus brought me into distress, (so that) I take steps to be good for the sake of Thy pleasure, live in ease and peace on account of Thy uninterrupted endowments, and prosper on account of Thy countless bounties. As I enjoy Thy protection and lay myself at the mercy of Thy generosity, take refuge with Thy forgiveness to avoid the penalty Thou may decide and with Thy indulgence to avoid Thy anger, give me that which I asked for, and made a request to Thee most humbly, I beseech Thee by Thyself, not by anything greater than Thee.

اے معبود! پس میں نے تیرے کرم کی جو امید لگارکھی ہے اس سے محروم نہ کرمجھے اپنی کثیر نعمتوں سے ناامید نہ ہونے دے اور آج کی رات اس بیشتر عطا سے محروم نہ کر جو تو نے اپنے فرماں برداروں کے لیے مقرر کی ہوئی ہے اور مجھے اپنی مخلوق کی اذیتوں سے امان میں قرار دےمیرے پروردگار! اگر میں اس سلوک کے لائق نہیں پس تو مہربانی کرنے، معافی دینے اور بخش دینے کا اہل ہے اور مجھ پر ایسی بخشش فرما جو تیرے لائق ہے نہ وہ کہ جس کا میں حق دار ہوں پس میں تجھ سے اچھا گمان رکھتا ہوں میری امید تجھی سے لگی ہوئی ہے اور میرا نفس تیرے کرم سے تعلق جوڑے ہوئے ہے جب کہ تو سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والا اور سب سے بڑھ کر مہربانی کرنے والا ہے۔ اے معبود! مجھے اپنی مہربانی و بخشش سے زیادہ حصہ دینے میں خصوصیت عطافرما اور میں تیرے عذاب سے، تیرے عفوودرگزر کی پناہ حاصل کرتا ہوں میرا وہ گناہ بخش دے کہ جس نے مجھ کو بدخلقی میں پھنسادیا اور میری روزی میں تنگی کا باعث ہے تاکہ میں تیری بہترین رضا حاصل کرسکوں تو اپنی مہربانی سے مجھے نعمتیں عنایت فرما اور اپنی کثیر نعمتوں سے مجھے بہرہ مند کردے کیوں کہ میں نے تیرے آستانے پر پناہ لی اور تیری بخشش کی امید لگائے ہوں اور میں تیرے عذاب سے عفوودرگزر کی پناہ حاصل کرتا ہوں اور تیرے غضب سے تیری نرم خوئی کی پناہ حاصل کرتا ہوں پس مجھے وہ دے جس کا میں نے تجھ سے سوال کیا ہے اس میں کامیاب کر جس کی تجھ سے خواہش کی ہے میں تجھ سے تیرے ہی ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں کہ تجھ سے بزرگ تر کوئی چیز نہیں ہے ۔

O Lord!

اے پروردگار

O Allah!

اے معبود!

There is neither might nor power save with Allah.

نہیں کوئی طاقت و قوت مگر وہ جو اللہ سے ہے۔

Only that which Allah wants (will be).

جو کچھ خدا چاہے۔

There is no power save with Allah.

نہیں کوئی قوت مگر خدا کی۔

O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
