1st Eve of Shawwal
۱؍شوال کی شب
A short turning of repentance and blessing. The reciter declares that they turn repentant unto Allah, calls on Him as the Lord of favouring, magnanimity and bounty and as the One who selected Muhammad, and asks that blessings be sent upon Muhammad and his Household.
PLEASE NOTE: Be it clear that the reason for presenting Translation is to understand Salaat and to recite in Arabic with concentration because reciting Salaat other than Arabic language (or Transliteration) is not correct.
اَتُوْبُ اِلَی اللہِ۔
Atoobo ilallah.
I turn repentant unto Allah.
خدا کے حضور توبہ کرتا ہوں۔
یَاذَالْمَنِّ وَالْجُوْدِ یَاذَالْمَنِّ وَالطَّوْلِ یَامُصْطَفِیَ مُحَمَّدٍصَلَّی اللهُ عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِہٖ وَافْعَلْ بِیْ کَذَاکَذَا۔
Ya zal manne wal joode ya zal manne wattaule ya mustafeya muhammadin sallallaahu alaihe wa aalehi salle alaa muhammadiw wa aalehi waf’al bi kaza kaza.
O Lord of favoring and magnanimity! O Lord of favoring and bounty! O He Who has selected Muhammad, peace of Allah be upon him and his Household, (please do) send blessings to Muhammad and his Household.
اے احسان و عطا والے! اے احسان وبخشش والے اے حضرت محمدؐ کو منتخب وبرگزیدہ کرنے والے محمدؐ اور ان کی آلؑ پر رحمت نازل فرما اور میرے لئے یہ اور یہ کردے۔
